Not sure which store I'm reviewing. Ours in Tucson is closed for remodeling. H&M Palm Springs was very nice.

I was in there tonight around 5 o'clock, and was walking around shopping minding my own business. I'm not sure what her name was, but a short female employee with black hair approached me and accused me of throwing things on the floor. "Are you just gunna leave that there and walk away?". First of all, I did not even TOUCH any merchandise. Second of all, even if I did employees have no place accusing customers especially ones who did not even do what they r saying. I wish I knew her name or I'd file an official complaint. Her attitude is awful CLEARLY and so is this store. I expect to be comped for this situation read more

Not my fave H&M but they aight, yo. I have a hard time finding stuff for myself there and notice that they have a lot of larger sizes but not a whole lot of the 0s and 2s... which stinks because their clothes already run so big that I have to take in the size 2s myself at home. Why is everything so wide and short? They have a good selection of women's clothing on the first floor but that's really just not my style. I like the more punky colored stuff on the second floor much more, but the inventory just isn't there. Also, the accessory selection here just plain stinks. I mainly go here with my boyfriend because their guy's section is great. They pair up some cute outfits for display, have a huge men's clearance section that has some of the stuff that's full price at other H&Ms on sale, and they have a good selection and range of sizes. read more

H&M - Children's Clothing Near Me - Oak Brook, Illinois

July14,2022 I ordered a dress online from H&M and 11 minutes later I realized I had not received a email confirmation from them so I went back online and I saw my address set to default to my old Nevada address and not my current Illinois address which is in their system. I called and asked if they could change the address and I was told no. Their policy and customer service is very very shitty. Today July 17,2022 my dress is still sitting in their warehouse because UPS has not picked up the package yet. Explain why my address could not be changed especially after I was verified by them, and considering the package is still in their possession. I will never do business with them again. They can take their shit back to China as far as I'm concerned. read more

The sizes are weird and the service is horrible. The sizes are made for little tiny people. Not just skinny. Short too. I usually wear a size 2 and I have to wear a size 6 at H&M. This store used to be cheap but all the prices have totally risen lately. After shopping at this store, I was ready to check out. I went to the check out and there was no one there. So I waited because I thought someone would walk by. No one did. So I went and looked around the downstairs for an employee. I couldn't find one. I ended up not buying anything because I couldn't find anyone to ring up my purchase! read more

H&M has its fair share of occupied space in my closet. Going to Oak Brook mall means one of two things: I have either run out of Lush products, or I want to wrap my body up in all of H&M's unique prints. H&M sold me on their old-fashioned patterns that I apparently love. Their dresses are just adorable--definitely inspired by decades long ago. Urban Outfitters also supplies this but at a MUCH higher price. What frustrates me, and sometimes deters me from even going, is knowing that their sizes are severely skewed to accomodate the deathly thin. Not bragging, I am not fat. However, if I want to be brought back down to earth and bear the humbling experience of pinching the excess fat on my stomach, thighs, and arms, I will gleefully skip over here. Going into this store, I have mentally prepared myself that picking out a size 10 dress is a what a size 4 would be anywhere else. Overall, H&M, I do like your style, but you mentally exhaust me. read more

I stopped here to buy gifts and they do have clothes for the whole family. from infants to adults. Not a lot of people helping but a lady did help me by letting me know that whatever you see is what you can get. Their prices are competitive and their quality is nice. They do offer super hero items for kids as well as nicely design clothes for the whole family. read more

When H&M opened years ago it was a lot cooler then it is now. I feel like maybe every 4th time I go there I will actually score on some cute stuff but most of the time I'm confused by the styles.I know they try to be trendy but a lot of the time it just ends up looking like a thrift store. It doesnt even compare to Forever and it never will. My most recent trip here I did more laughing and Wtf ing then actual shopping.Did anyone see the elmo or bert and ernie sweaters for men? If not I suggest you go check them out for a good chuckle. The prices have slowly risen too.I think H&M thinks we are stupid and wont notice that they are trying to get $40 oh wait excuse me $39.90 for ugly ass dresses that use to be $29.90. read more

Beware the incredibly shrinking men's department. It's down to just a couple of racks of shirts and a small display of sweatpants. If you are man, you will not find any sort of selection here. They might as well remove what's left of their men's selections and install a comfortable sofa where we can patiently wait for our bargain-minded wives and girlfriends to complete their browsing. Note: My wife isn't celebrating the larger selection of womens clothing (at the expense of the mens selections), because she can't seem to find anything in her size (medium). This location of H&M just doesn't work. read more

Extremely rude cashier! I don't even have words to express my anger. I wish he had a name tag on. He made me feel so guilty because I messed up swiping my credit card two times. Okay, sorry I'm little slow today. Next time I would wait for the second cashier to help me and avoid this guy. So he can't ruin a perfectly sunny shipping day for me. read more

If you are a man, save your time. The men's department here has no variety and it seems to be getting smaller. You probably will not find what you're looking for - but your lady friends might! In addition, the employees are very hard to distinguish out, almost as if they're hiding as shoppers so they don't have to help customers. When I am shopping, I find it very helpful to ask questions or ask if they may have additional stock to accommodate my "popular" size that is magically always sold out. If you are a woman, save (most) of your time. You will run into the same limited stock and size problems as well. This H&M has a beautiful storefront, but the interior just doesn't cut it. read more

H and M is usually a hit or miss store and this location was pretty good in selection, but pretty poor in attitude. Pros: - Nice selection of sale downstairs - Two floors- so usually they have whatever I'm looking for in my size Cons: - Lines can get long and there is usually only one cashier - There was a blonde girl on the sales floor who was kind of a B and was more interested in personal convos than helping the customers Basically, good stuff and good prices, but the lack of service can be annoying. Employees should be more engaging and interested in the customers! read more

Worst h&m ever!!! Mess, service was horrible. The cashier was unpleasant. Other laydy didn't want to help me find my size. I was there with my 6 months old boy. I couldn't move stroller, because clothes were all around on the floor! ! It's look like resell shop... read more

I will not be back to this H&M, which is a shame because they used to be one of my favorite stores. Why? The sales employees are HORRIBLE. I go to the fitting rooms to try on clothing and they tell me "Don't leave your clothing in the dressing room" which is kind of understandable because I'm sure it's a pain to clear out BUT when I had finished leaving, my brother was coming out of the fitting room across from me and he got a full on lecture about how "disrespectful" it is to leave his things in the room...what did they pull out? A DRESS!! The guy accused my brother of leaving a dress in the fitting room and when he pointed that out, he just got an eye roll. Then, while we were waiting in line to check out the sales associates did nothing but rip on customers who were in earlier in the week! Throwing around the words "dumb", "crazy" and "big [fat]". I will not be back until they get rid of the horrible sales associates or retrain them in how to behave at their job. RUDE! read more

I like H & M for inexpensive trendy item it's my favorite short term commitment place ;0)

Cute stuff for my niece. Was able to pick her up many things for a very reasonable price. I was reading recently that added plus size sizes to their line-up, but I didn't find any of said sizes in this store. Also this store was extremely hot on the inside making it uncomfortable shopping too long. read more

It's the first store I always go to after walking through Nordstroms (where I usually park). Right next to the cafe where I grab my fav Hazelnut Americano, I venture in here to find deals and steals. It's not the largest H&M around, but the selection is pretty decent. read more

I've been to Woodfield and Northbrook's H&M, and I LOVE THE H&M at Oak Brook! Can't wait to be back! I bought my son's whole summer wardrobe here! I'm waiting for the shoes to come in to buy all the pairs for my little one. And while I'm at it, I'll be back for my summer wardrobe. read more

This H&M has 2 floors and their clothes are a real bargain!! The first floor has trendier/classier/girlier things and the 2nd floor has more hipster/scene/punk-rock things, along with the guy section. The accessories at this location isn't too good though, and neither is their selection of clothes..it's kind of like you either love it or you hate it. A few of the employees here are pretty snotty, but overall they're alright for the most part. read more

have never been in this location so decided to give it a try. good selection but seems to not have as much as other stores that ive shopped at. it was a random wednesday nite & nobody was at oakbrook mall so it was nice to not be bothered with a lot of people. the cashier who handled my purchase was super nice & let me know whe they have their new clothes come in so i can come back for what im looking for. read more

I had the worst experience in this particular H&M with a so called "Manager" named Maritza. From the time we walked in she was nothing but snobby. I was checking out with a leather skirt and she was not able to get the sensor off. Instead of simply saying let me figure it out, or grab someone else to try she straight up says "I cant sell this skirt, and theres no one else in the store to try and take the sensor off." Then proceeds to call another store and in her snobby tone says "Im doing you a favor, I dont need to call." Actually as a manager that is your job, and if you don't want to go out of your way to call then you shouldn't be a manager or work in retail. Its not like the store was busy, there were maybe 3 people in the entire store. I then go grab a different size in the skirt and bring it to the counter to compare the sizes with a different sales associate named Sammy, who was much more helpful than Maritza. Sammy is trying everything to get the sensor off of the other skirt and as I'm standing at the counter Maritza goes "I already tried to take that sensor off for 5 minutes." Which was a lie, she only tried for maybe a few seconds. I then go to try the other size skirt on, and come out of the dressing room and Sammy goes "I got the sensor off of the skirt you wanted." She went above and beyond even after I walked away. Whereas Maritza was so snobby and provided horrible customer service. If you are going to get paid like a manager, at least act like one. I am very unsatisfied and after spending so much money in this H&M I will defiantly not be back. Customer service is about to get an ear full on this so called manager, Maritza. read more

Extremely bad customer service! I was ready to pay for my purchase, but there was nobody at the cash register, so I had to physically walk around the floor and look for somebody that can assist me. Also, I wanted to purchase a shirt which had a promotion "buy one, get one free," but the manager claimed that it had expired and nothing can be done about it. I was shocked because they are supposed to honor the coupon, since it is their mistake. I love the brand, but I would NOT go back in the Oak Brook Center location! read more
