Feminine Beginnings…read more Express, a dual gender clothing chain, is a contemporary fashion brand for trendy women and men. To be sure, women once came first at Express, but now men are equally welcomed. Express opened it's first store in 1980, selling exclusively to women. Approximately ten years later, a men's fashion line, Structure, was spun off from the Columbus, Ohio chain. Over a decade later, Structure came home. Today, Express is a dual gender store. On one side, you will find Express Women; on the other side, sits Express Men. It's a successful dichotomy. The brand banked over $2 billion in 2014. I always find fashion-forward looks at Express. The prices can be a bit too high sometimes, but it's worth it when you find the right item. Also, the employees are trained well and they are there to help out when you need them. Happy shopping!!

It was delivered by UPS to some guy named Flakes in a location called Dock. No dock at my Denver home and nobody named Flakes. After calls to UPS, USPS and Crew, turns out that my package was delivered to the post office dock. Nobody was very helpful at any of these locations. Turns out that J Crew, to save money, uses UPS to get packages to the area, then leaves it all for USPS to deliver. Strikes me as a really stupid process that adds days to the process. My stuff is in Denver but I can't get it until the post office delivers it. Should be a couple of days before it arrives. Stupid, stupid, stupid adding an extra step to the process. Just adding that I got another email just now saying that the package had been delivered. Still waiting for it

Even after moving up to Denver, it wasn't convenient. Needless to say I didn't shop much in the brick-and-mortar store, but I did shop (a lot!) online. That's why I was so excited to see a Box Lunch at Town Center in Aurora! Kellen, the sales associate, was so friendly and helpful. Her service is the type I was used to shopping at the Mall of America location. I asked her how long the store had been open, and she said it opened last week. I also asked her how long she worked for the company, and she said while she trained up at Flatirons Crossing, this store was her first official location. You couldn't tell, since she had amazing product knowledge and super customer service. The store had a fantastic selection of Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and other types of genres. They had all kinds of products, and even had a nice sale going on. As usual, I walked out with a bagful of stuff. Kellen helped fix my phone number, which someone had entered entirely wrong into the system. When she couldn't find me via my phone number, I told her to brace herself when I gave her my email. She started smiling because she knew it was a combo of Disney and Star Wars. She pretty much had it memorized when she had to reenter my info. I left with not only some sweet deals and awesome shopping bag, but a smile on my face thanks to Kellen's customer service. And don't worry: I'll be back soon!

Back of the store is all clearance again divided by gender. Fitting rooms beyond that. A fair selection of everything but the service was certainly lacking. Maybe JT's a staffing issue but the people who were working didn't seem very bothered to ask if anyone needed assistance or even to let people into the fitting rooms. Clutter wise the clearance section in back had way too much on racks. I'm sure that's just sale items and customers putting things back randomly but it definitely detracted from the overall shopping experience. It's what you expect overall from a brand like this. Nothing to write home about. Nothing to make me fully steer clear of this brand in future. And if you're Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Aerie, American Eagle etc. It really is all the same. Just different color schemes and store layouts. I will say from all the previous brands listed that have storefronts in the mall. This AE location is the smallest.

Upon walking into the store we noticed everything was neat and organized. The manager, Neil, greeted us warmly and proceeded to show my boyfriend all of the options within his price range. Since there was a sale going on, my boyfriend ended up ordering a custom made sports jacket which was ideal since he often has trouble finding jackets that fit because he's over 6 feet tall. Not only did he get to choose the pattern/color of the jacket but he also go to choose other options like having his initials on the inside of his jacket, and what color stitching he wanted. Usually the alternations take weeks to do but because we were on a tight deadline due to the wedding we had to attend, Neil was gracious enough to expedite the alternations my boyfriend needed. My boyfriend's sports jacket fits so well! I'd recommend this place for anyone who is looking for affordable custom made clothing. Be sure to ask for Neil. He was awesome!

When I called to ask what time they closed do I could pick then up I was accused I had to be there at least 1 hour before they closed. I was ok with this and came over in plenty of time. The employee was extremely short and unprofessional. He handed me the pants and given my expression, asked if I wanted to try them on. I said yes and he escorted me to a fitting room. I tried the pants on and found the length be to short for my liking. When I told him he immediate told me I was wrong and I got exactly what I asked for. He even took me to a mirror to tell me again that I was wrong. Finally fed up, I told him I was not happy with them and wanted them to be longer. He was very irritated and said to change back and he'd ring me up to charge me again. I explained I wouldn't pay to have them fine correctly add I already paid for that. He refused and I explained to him that I would take the pants, but wouldn't bring any more business to this business again. I did write to the corporate offices and never received a response. I assume they must get plenty of business to be unwilling to answer customer complaints or provide a good customer experience.
