The ARC of all the ARCs. Friendly staff, decent pricing, clean and huge store with clean restrooms. So much selection and always filled with great finds. Saturday deals are the best. Get here early or go have a beer at the Smokin' Dave's BBQ for their happy hour before thrifting. Parking can be a challenge on Saturday mornings but never had an issue finding a spot. This is my favorite thrift store of all times. read more

Sketch parking lot and somewhat questionable people? Possibly but this location is chock full of goodies! I typically stop here on their can't-be-beat 50% off tag days on Saturday (buyer beware, not all tags, just three or four colors) and have found a lot of quality stuff.....ski coats, Sorel boots, Tory Burch tops, etc. You just gotta be patient and sift through the inventory! Staff is helpful and friendly with check out or if you want to check out something in the cases. Even though it can look a bit questionable (and more work for me in my quest to be less judgmental), this is one of the better organized ARCs out there. read more

Love the Saturday deals! Always find lots of cheap clothes and cool little nik naks. Sometimes it gets packed inside so if you don't mind a crowd, it's a great spot to get stuff you need. read more

My new favorite thrift store. This place is organized and clean!! They wash the clothes before selling them - I have never seen that at a Goodwill. I really appreciate that - makes browsing much more enjoyable. Saturdays = 1/2 off most items! read more

I love thrifting and Shop and donate to the ARC often. I use to work as a Respite worker during my college years for the Arc This store often has a very good variety of items and fun things to find. I recently tried to return a few items under the 10 day period ( Broken electronic item and few other things ) I had the tags with me with the receipt . My young son had pulled the tags from the items by accident. The manager Matthew was incredibly rude and wouldn't help. He declined returning any of my items regardless of my situation. I'm a honest person and I do believe they're are some situations where managers can adjust policies and help out the customer. In this case, Matthew the ARC manager on Cortez was not helpful. From now on, I will take my business elsewhere and shop at the other Arc's where I can get treated respectfully read more

This is my second review on this location, I wanted to update it because I have recently experienced a lot of issues. I'm not sure if they change management or what's going on but I don't want to come here anymore. A week ago when I was in the store walking around and an employee bumped into me, then turned around and gave me the most evil look and said "excuse you"......just wow! On my most recent visit I went to the store to buy some shoes for my son, one of them was in the back so the employee went to get it, they checked both shoes and then place them in the bag. When I got home I realize that I had 2 right shoes and both were different sizes. Now I totally understand that mistakes happen that's not why I gave them 2 stars. It's what happened when I tried to fix the issue. I had to go all the way back to the store and then they said they didn't even have the left shoe for the pair I originally purchased. I asked her if I could just swap it out for a different pair, they said yes but the only pair I could find were not in great condition. The price tag on the first pair was a white & 19.99, this color was 50% off. The price tag on the second pair was a blue & for 12.99, this color was NOT 50% off. I said "can I just swap them out for the inconvenience of having to come all the way back in"..... she flat out said no! So not only did I have to drive all the way back to the store, I didn't get the pair shoes that I originally purchased, and I had to pay more money for a pair shoes that were in a worse condition than the original pair. I've been to almost every arc thrift store in Denver and the management is always willing to assist when they mess up EXCEPT for this location. I've even had other locations give my kids a free book just because or give me a cheaper price if it seemed too high. I do not like the way the manager is running this store and I will not return. read more

i work at this ARC on Cortez and I can tell you that it one of the best retailer. i have worked customer service for fifty some years and the respect and gratitude I get from the management goes far beyond excellent. I work weekends only but the weekend crew are the best, we work hard but we laugh and and have a good time. i feel appreciated and loved by the management time. Thank you Cortez ARC read more

Easiest price check process, thanks to the evening manager! The only thing is that the ARC stores I usually try to think about their demographics in the area which meant for this location lots of their items are in the senior bracket of trends. They have a good selection of home goods and the usual sales. But if you are looking for trendy items such as high waisted jeans or designer this may not be the best location. read more

I was finishing up my community service here right and I decided to take a break you know I've been busting my ass left to right and not taking a break because you know I am being punished yes I know I deserve it but as I stood there and took a break I looked around and I noticed how bad they treat their employees this isn't a place to work it's a freaking sweat shop! Management bullying workers just because they think they can! Not to mention how none of them could talk to any customer because it's against their rules this is a sweatshop not a place to work somebody better take notice.. Very nice , helpful staff ! I went in there today to buy some items for my son's new place and being that he's in his early 20s I do not want to spend a fortune on items that may get damaged , so I got a rug , fabric shower curtain,, a broiling pan, and Tupperware containers, all like new ! I was a very happy mother! My young adult son, can destroy these items and it's not gonna give me a heart attack because I didn't have to invest to much! Learned my lesson last year ha!! Not all Arc Thrift stores are as nice as this one!! read more

Had to edit my review because some rude lady that works for you apprentally has an attitude and plays me for being stupid and I was in the store afew minutes before it was open and comes up to me and says it very rudely that you can't be in here the store isn't open and I say then why are the doors unlocked? Her response is because we have to let employees in and I responded back and told her I understand that but where I work if the store isn't open then they have to call the store and have someone answer the phone and unlock the door or if an associate sees then they'll let them in and you guys shouldn't leave the door unlocked if you're not open because if nobody is up front a unhonest person could walk in and take some thing and get away with it please do a better job and on top of that I use she, her and hers as prouns it may have been a mistake but I am also transgender and she used Sr instead. read more

four words: black rabbit fur ushanka Things are bit more picked through these days, but that doesn't stop me from swinging by here when I go to POM or Broomfield Beauty Salon. I still find something of interest on almost every visit (a vintage rhinestone brooch and the ushanka on one recent trip). They do a great job of compiling costumey items for Halloween, though I wish they would leave them out year round. read more

I've been a customer for a few years because when they put out the new stuff for a season it's great. On the other hand at times the selection gets very picked over and there's nothing good. I would give it four stars for the merchandise and great prices anyway, as long as you check back with them once in a while--minus a star because some of their employees are the rudest. read more

I live in Dallas, TX, but my brother lives right around the corner from this location in Denver. Everytime I come to visit this is one of my first stops. And I typically will come by three times during my visit to make sure I got to fully see everything. There's always a great selection, and if you go on the right day they have sales all the time. Customer service is always good. Parking is easy. Prices are good and even better when there's a sale. I'm a huge thrifter and will swing by any thrift store I can get my hands on and out of all the stores I've gone to this is by far my favorite! read more

Products were literally dusty. The clothes here isn't good at all. Clothes wise, I've seen better thrift stores with better quality clothes and products. I'd rather go to Goodwill, Savers or any other thrift store. read more

This location is so much better than the other two I've been to (I'm from out of town). They have the AC on, don't lock customers out of the bathrooms, they readily unlock the fitting rooms, everything is neatly organized, and the workers are friendly. The only thing is it seems things are overpriced, but I'm used to thrift shopping in Omaha. read more

Great sized store, you're almost guaranteed to find something anytime you stop in. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Only 4 stars, because they really need to stop locking the dressing room doors or have someone reserved just to man them. What's the point of making me wait for someone to come unlock the room when they don't look at or count my armload of shorts? not to mention no one is looking or counting on the exit. I don't know what theft is like in these places, but I can't imagine this sorry excuse for security theater is hindering it. read more
