The cashier rang me up and I asked for the senior discount and he had to ask a supervisor how to do it. After punching in the code and checking the senior discount, it denied the discount. The supervisor said that some manufacturers do not allow a senior discount. Kohl's should say that in their advertising. In addition, when I got home, there was a security tag on one of the pants and now I have to drive all the way back to get it removed.

I have never shopped at a Duluth Trading Company store before since there are none where I live in Southern California. But I have seen their commercials and advertisements and so the store itself just peaked my interest. And since I saw it while passing on the freeway, my husband and I decided to make a visit. When we walked in last Friday, a friendly employee behind the counter greeted us and welcomed us in the store. As I browsed through the store, I did notice that quality of the clothes (which looks like it would be a good fit for outdoor activities and outdoor work clothes) is pretty good and thick, yet durable material on the pants. I was also surprised to see such a large dog section that sold jackets, toys, cots, some treats and life jackets (all of which our little girl dog already has). I ended up finding a pair of pants that I liked in the clearance section, which is on the woman's side (but the clearance section sells items for both men and women, children and some dog items). I like that the dressing room women for women was self served, meaning I could just go into any of the dressing rooms, lock the door and change right away. I do not have to wait for an employee to check me in, etc. During my shopping experience, I had encountered 4 employees and all of them were very friendly and told me to hesitate to ask any of them for assistance with anything. Overall, I enjoyed my shopping experience and would probably come back if I lived in this area.

Sadly my little Yorkie that gets into everything, rip off my receipt so I went back to the store and explained that to the manager when he asked for the receipt. He was really rude and told me that there was just one transaction at their system so they just gave me $20 back to my credit card and a gift card for $30. So I still have merchandise for $250 that Eddie Bauer won't let me exchange or return. I tried to show the manager the charges from Eddie Bauer on my Bank account and he said that he didn't care about those charges, that if I didn't have the receipt they wont do returns or exchanges. This store should have a HUGE sign warning the customers NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES WITHOUT A RECEIPT ! I won't go back. I feel mistreated and cheated.
