We went looking for Tuxedos and expected to be introduced to the process of scheduling our parties measurements and to learn about the general process to select the tuxedos (all of the above). This is our first time being married so we are new to the process. When we arrived we waited for about 20minutes to be helped which was ok. We understood that there was a person in front of us. However when it was our turn to engage in the process, we were handed iPads with no explanation to put our information in and we were asked "what do you want". I presume this question was in regard to our tuxedos styles. When I asked what were the options, the gentlemen pointed to a rack of items near the register and we were told "this is all we have". I'm actually not sure what was on the rack because it wasn't organized or looked like a bunch of frazzled material thrown in a corner. We decided to leave after that experience and will not return. We were also told the rental would be $250 which I thought was outrageous for the customer service experience that we had. If you are looking for an enjoyable experience, I'd highly suggest not going to this store! We visited another suit store (no affiliated with Men's Wearhouse) and immediately were met with grace, excitement and were offered a way better price for tuxedos that we can actually own. This other place scheduled us for consultation and we will purchase there! I gave this store rating one stars. I was because able to find a nice shirt for cheap on the clearance rack while I was waiting but that was my only joy. I won't be back to this store!

I had one groomsman flying in from out of town for the sole purpose of getting fitted, and they called just hours before to cancel the appointment. When I asked the customer service representative, what their solution was to the problem, they stated that they could give us a $20 voucher, and schedule another appointment. Based on others reviews who had had the exact same issue, it is likely that the future appointment would just get canceled as well. There is absolutely no sense of concern from the employee I spoke to. Just a word of advice from a stressed-out groom, do not use this place and just go to Men's Wearhouse.

This was before choosing other accessories such as a tie that would look good with my suit. I have had a few suits made by Tom James in the past and was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail. I am looking forward to a new suit I ordered for an upcoming wedding. The first time I wore one suit the first time and a beltloop detached from the pants... I reached out to my high pressure sales person Tate Zigerman to let her know and the first thing she told me was that my suit I sent the picture of was a suit she didn't sell me?? I had explained the exact suit and color to her and after she remembered selling me the suit a few weeks earlier, she told me that it was because the the belt was pulled hard upward???? I put my belt on the same way I do with all of my other clothes and never had this issue. Immediately, I thought, "oh man, this is how it's going to be after she is done with the sale???" Either way, a pair of split pants and a suit jacket with the interior torn (both after only 2 wears) on top of the belt loop, told me that what i am paying good money for is not worth it. Buttons falling off, Threads coming out.... Not what you would expect. The answer form Tate and her team... "there is only a 30 day repair window after anything is provided to you..." It's unbelievable and frustrating. Not to mention Tate's sales tactics are VERY aggressive and she asks for referrals so she can make her President's Club every time. She has absolutely no remorse, she is in it for the sale and then will leave you hanging with any issue. It's completely unprofessional but more importantly, the quality of the clothing is sub par at best. Again, Buyer beware!!!!!

Drove all the way to Southlands to go to New York and Company as I needed a suit for a wedding. He…read moredoesn't like shopping but since I wanted his opinion, he had to come with me. So we came to this outdoor mall as he didn't want to deal with walking around other people in an indoor mall. The store is closed. Permanently. So I'm panicking and sweating as I didn't want to drag him to a mall. I decided to check out this store as I do love their styles and hoped they had a suit. Alfreda greeted me and I explained I needed a suit, preferable two buttons and single breasted. I think I took her by surprise as I was that specific. But she walked me over to a suit - I believe it's the only one they have in the store - and it was two buttons and single breasted. What are the odds? She selected my sizes and led me to a fitting room. I love their fitting room area. It's plush and fancy with comfortable chairs the gentlemen can wait in. Carpeting on the floors so our feet don't touch cold tile. Alfreda asked if I would come out so they could see how it looked and i said of course as I wanted him to see it. I said a prayer and tried on the smaller size pants. A little snug. So I tried on the larger size. It fit! Put on the jacket in the matching size and looked in the mirror. Looked like it would work so I went outside so he could give me his opinion. He actually liked it! I was so relieved. Alfreda said i looked nice in it and so I was sold. Alana rang me up as Alfreda had another customer and we were talking about why I needed such a specific style. When she heard I would need a white button up shirt to be able to wear a tie with it, she said she had a style to show me that someone had returned in a larger size. It was cute. Cut in a little at the sides to show off your figure instead of simply hanging loose. I tried it and they suggested I order it in the same size as the suit. And the best part? They ship it to me free of charge! It would take a week but it would save me from running around. What could be even better than all of this? I received a discount for my purchase amount being above $100. Both ladies were so nice and made me feel appreciated and beautiful. All the stress of finding the perfect matching suit for the event gone. Definitely recommend.

They steamed everything for me so all I had to do was take it out of the bag and wear it. That was so appreciated as I also had to get 5 kids dressed that day. He was able to cater to our needs for my fiancé's suit for our wedding. He took into consideration our venue, the type of weather we were going to be dealing with, the accessories we already had prior picking colors for the suit, which made our decision making easy and to our liking. When taking measurements I noticed how he communicated with my fiance helping him through the process of finding the best fit for him for such an important day. Completely incompetent. I spent several thousand dollars on clothing here. My suit pants were not…read moresized properly. I brought them back for alterations, and they returned them to me later and said the alterations were completed. That was a lie. Not a single alteration was done, and the pants still don't fit properly. Now they want me to waste more of time and come in again. Additionally, I ordered long-sleeve shirts, and they sent me short-sleeve shirts. The manager there, Chikee Talker, dealt with the situation poorly. She was resistant to accommodating me properly as a customer, sent an inappropriate email to me and ultimately led me to having to challenge the transaction on my credit card. An incredibly poor experience made worse by a store manager who didn't handle the situation well.

He may just have been having an off day, but still I wasn't happy with the mistake. I called in to discuss the error and the associate who answered the phone tried to make the error right, but didn't have the authority. She was super polite and it was clear she wasn't going to let the error go until it was made right by me. She offered to escalate to her manager. Less than 5 minutes after that call I get a call from Rudi who went above and beyond to make things right. The clothes are fine, but it's getting the type of exceptional care that Rudi and her associate provided which make for repeat business. Definitely be shopping with Peter Millar again. People like this need to be in leadership roles.
