We had a trip booked and fully paid for July of 2020. Covid made us cancel/reschedule. The hotel said they would give us credits for the stay, to just call when we were ready to reschedule. Every time we tried they said "send it in an email" we did over and Over and OVER for 3 months!!! Well they never did it so we had to use our own money to rebook somewhere else. I called and told the reception desk twists been going on, she took my messages and she said she'd hand the manager the message and they'd call back within 24 hours. NOPE! I even called their corporate office, who said they sent the information to their hotel manager and he would contact me. Nope! Never did! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Wonderful location, literally a couple blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. Concierge and Lobby Staff aren't the friendliest, or most enthusiastic of faces, but the service industry in France, from my experience, is pretty much the same. Upon arrival (we landed at the airport very early) our rooms weren't ready for check-in, but they kindly accommodated us and gave us at least one room to leave our luggage and freshen up for the day. Unfortunately it was a room without a view of the Eiffel Tower. The second room which wasn't ready until much later that day was another room without a view. Make sure when booking that you specifically request it or you will not get one. The room layouts/size aren't terrible, but definitely don't reflect the price you're paying. The hair dryers provided are very high quality, three settings for air and three temperature settings, and the showers aren't what I'm used to in the states, but the water temperature and pressure are decent. My biggest complaint is the lobby ALWAYS SMELLS terrible, there's a restaurant connected to the lobby and it always smells like fried greasy oily food masked with mens cologne in the lobby, literally every time you walk in, which is a major turn off. Another major con: NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL in your room. That's right, you have a fake thermostat that does nothing for the room temperature. I stayed here in March, Spring time, and it was hot! The room with the lights on felt like a sauna, when we complained they just told us to open a window. The best thing about this place aside from being walking distance to the Eiffel Tower is the big breakfast they serve in the morning, which puts any U.S hotel continental breakfast to shame. read more

When I booked this hotel I was a little nervous since the other reviews were not the best. However I worried for nothing. Check in was a breeze. Internet ran well very day. There was hot water. No noises from other rooms. The staff was exceptional excellent service. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Rooms were spotless. When we left early on a Saturday morning we had problems with uber getting to the hotel. However the bellman made sure we canceled the uber order so we wouldn't be charged and got us taxi. We visited mid-March 2019 and had an incredibly wonderful experience. We arrived at 10am, way before check-in time, but they let us check-in early at no extra charge. Someone else had booked the hotel for us ahead of time (TripAdvisor, maybe?), so they needed a copy of the purchaser's credit card and ID to protect against fraud, but we're glad they did that since it's such a large purchase! Our room was considered "Eiffel Tower and Trocadero view": Eiffel Tower view, yes. Trocadero view, no. Instead, we had a nice view of a local soccer field. Geographically, I'm not sure one can see the Trocadero from the hotel anyway. The room was a pleasant size, very clean, and offered almost all the amenities we could ask for--the refrigerator was full of drinks and snacks to purchase, so we could not use it for our own items. Breakfast offerings are the same every day, but we enjoyed them nonetheless: charcuterie (selection of cold meats and cheeses), various juices, English breakfast essentials (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms), Asian items (rice porridge, soy sauce boiled eggs), breads, pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, chaussons aux pommes), cereals, and jams galore! If those don't suit your fancy, you can also request an omlet or custom cooked eggs from the chef, or order custom coffee, tea, or chocolat chaud from the waiter. All staff are very friendly and polite; bonjour, bonne journee, bonsoir, etc every time we passed by. The location was very convenient, as it was close to Metro stations. There were always taxis lined up as well. If you need a convenience store, there was a Franprix nearby (6min walk). While this hotel is outside of our usual price point, it was certainly worth the splurge to have a nice place to rest from being overzealous tourists all day. read more

I asked if we could be put in a room with A/C due to breathing problems and I was told that none of the rooms have A/C! I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I must say, my partner and I had an amazing time. We had the best view from our room of the Eiffel tower. We ordered champagne from room service and just sat on the balcony listening to the sounds of the streets and watching the tower glow every hour. The room was big enough for the two of us and OmG that bed was like a pillow from heaven No lie. Service was great. Housekeeping came to make up our room everyday even though we are not early birds and got up pretty late. The bar downstairs was good but I have to say the rooftop bar took the cake. Calm. Comfortable environment. Elegant. Good snacks and lovely drinks. We will be returning. We are looking to go back at the end of July. That's how much we enjoyed everything about the Pullman. Thank you for such an experience. I definitely give 5 stars. I would give 10 if i could. If u do get a chance to experience this hotel, go big and get the balcony room. Quick check in, as her Ladyship always, has the right documentation in hand, not stuffed away somewhere, so that everyone in the queue has to wait for to you look stupidly through your various bags and pockets. Pet peeve of mine. The hotel is modern, the rooms large,clean and aesthetically pleasing. We had a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower.....if you looked to the right when out on the balcony! The real straight out the window view was of an ugly skyline, with a Soccer field right below our 5th floor. balcony. Many of the balconies needed you to do this to see the tower. It was fun at night taking chair out to watch the tower do its light show!!! The bed was comfortable...we were so tired and it was good to get a good nights sleep every night. Room had good soundproofing, so was quiet.Close to Metro, Boats on the Seine, and the Tower, but it is not in a great place for good food. Most of the surrounding restaurants in walking distance are touristy which means you get hamburgers, pizza, etc and we wanted French food!. The hotel itself has a restaurant which served acceptable food...but again not "french" food...so we were disappointed. Staff helpful but in a condescending way. They gave us wrong directions to post office and bank, and smirked when we asked again, Her Ladyship, found people outside who were more helpful. Big warning here.....only take official Parisienne Taxis from Gare Nord..we were accosted at the exit gate and asked did we want a taxi? then our bags were grabbed, and we were ushered out. The "taxi" was away from the station and they charged us 80 euros. The guy at Pullman said this was a fair price. When we were leaving another concierge said we should pay no more than 25 euros for the same trip....and we actually paid 20. So go to an official taxi stand, to not get ripped off. The concierge was amused we got scammed. Another staff member raised his voice to me when I took a nasty fall on some stairs, as I was looking for the restrooms, yelling at me, that restrooms were the other way, I stated I was only following the directions I was given. The bar is the only place we found respect and laughter. They had a great variety of drinks, and even gave us a taste of a new cocktail they were trying out. Our waitress was very good in the restaurant and we made sure we got her on the second visit. The food was mediocre , and expensive. I'm not sure why this hotel has only a 3.5 rating. We booked a deluxe room with a balcony view of the Eiffel Tower for nine nights. It was 100% worth it. Check in process was easy. Nuria was very sweet and accommodating. She even provided a room on the 6th floor when she saw the first room available was on 2nd floor. We opted to include breakfast with our room, which was also worth it. Omelettes, fresh fruit, juices and pastries; it was a perfect way to start the day before going out to explore Paris. We were worried the food wouldn't be filling but we're pleasantly surprised. Pro tip-- the pancake maker is worth the wait! The Staff are welcoming and you can't beat location of hotel. There are multiple restaurants, cafes within walking distance. It was easy to call for an Uber and there are always taxis in front. Another bonus is that they provide guests with umbrellas (by availability) free of charge. read more

There were 4 out of 5 tables that were mad about service. 1 couple walked out, they were the smart ones. Absolutely brutal effort by restaurant staff. So hotel is a thumbs up but avoid restaurant unless you like frustration and spending hours hoping to eat or drink. Note to GM. We were promised a Deluxe room with a balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower, and of course we get there and you can barely see the Eiffel Tower and they put us on the 3rd floor! They are liars!! We asked to speak to a manager and she said no multiple times, and after sitting there with her for a half hour all of a sudden a room showed magically. **I would recommend first time guests to read this before purchasing their room. It might eliminate confusion and help guide you to a better experience than what we had. I do believe it's possible to have a good experience at this hotel. We just weren't lucky. This hotel actually ended up being quite a disappointment to me. I wanted to stay here our last night in Paris to surprise my significant other for our anniversary. I was stressing about which room to get. I wanted a spectacular view. I inquired TripAdvisor to get feedback on what reviewers thought was the best room to stay in. Most responded with the Trocadero/ Eiffel view. I was still worried though so before purchasing a emailed pullman hotel for feedback and they responded with the same answer. So I spent 357 usd (best deal I could find and this was after a used a coupon as well) for one night here. I emailed again after purchasing because I was so stressed about the money spent and that we would be disappointed. I just wanted to ensure that we were getting what we paid for. When we arrived, it was early so we dropped off our bags and were told to return at 3 when our room would be ready. No problem. We went to the Palace of Versailles and returned back to the hotel at 3:40. Room still wasn't ready. It was clean but needed to be inspected and would take "no more than a half hour longer". We were given 2 free drink tickets and sent to the bar. No problem. The view on the patio is spectacular. Truly spectacular. We enjoyed a cocktail, played a little foosball and checked back in 45 mins later. The woman was not very happy when we checked back. Serious attitude and said it would be another 15 mins. My boyfriend said we were told 45 mins ago it would be less than a half hour and she shrugged and said 10 more minutes because there's something going on.. okay. So we waited another 25 mins and finally our room was ready. We go up and have to lean our head out the balcony to see the full tower and there's no Trocadero view. I'm confused and go back down and tell her I also paid for a Trocadero view. Get this, she responds with, "There is no where from this hotel that you can see the Trocadero. It's impossible." I stare at her blankly. Then why did I pay for it? "Idk you must have bought from a 3rd party" I purchased the hotel from hotels.com and I checked your site too. You advertise it. Why would you advertise something you don't have??? Why would I select this room?? Doesn't make any sense. She shrugged and said she didn't know but that view doesn't exist here. Then told me she'd get the manager. The manager took us up to the room and pointed towards the Trocadero and said, "See the tops of those buildings? That's it. That's the view" My boyfriend and I started laughing. What a sight (sarcasm). She then told us this was the best she could do for us for what we paid. Gotcha. Can't help but feel a little cheated. I think when advertising a room and a view an example should be shown so every guest knows what they're paying for. I tried so hard to get the view I wanted and with all that effort it was still a fail. To mention: There's a big balcony and no patio furniture. You have to be lower to see the whole tower. Why isn't there any furniture out there? Wouldn't that be the very spot you want to spend your time since you can't see the tower from the room? Room: we had two twin beds that were fairly comfortable (not very convenient but oh well) and I thought the bathroom was pretty nice. I enjoy when robes and slippers are offered. Restaurant: Cocktails were great and service was great. That patio has the most spectacular view of the tower. Very enjoyable to sit at. Actual Hotel itself: it's basically like an average Hilton hotel in a great location. Nothing really special about it. Pretty average. But again, the view. Hotel Service: that girl.. her attitude is very disappointing for what people are paying to stay here. If you don't like your job, quit. We had a long day. We wanted a room and what we paid for. When I told the manager that she said there was no Trocadero view the manager looked shocked. It was like the girl wasn't trained to lie yet. Overall: if you want the view, do it. I don't think it can get better than this. But there are far better hotels to stay at and you are solely paying for the view here. Before this we were at an incredible Airbnb and when we walked out of the building we had an incredible view of the tower. Pullman Hotels is about 5 mins walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, a perfect location for couples who want to explore the other areas during the day and come back for the magnificent view of the Tower at night. The light starts flickering around 9pm and 12 am and last about 5 mins. The room we got is on 11th floor and we had the window view of the tower. In order to use the elevator to your room, you must use your room key to activate it. The hotel check in representatives are friendly and helpful. The housekeepers didn't supply the coffee mugs one day and the bathrobe for 2 different occasions. The phone in our room didn't have a direction to call for assistance which we had to leave the room to ask for help until later find out that you have to dial 9 for help (not 0) like most USA hotels. read more

A truly beautiful and great hotel. We stayed without breakfast included and thus cannot comment on its quality. But, after staying in two other hotels in Paris during our 2 week trip, it was just lovely to have a spacious hotel. Rooms were a great size and lots of high tech accessories, including a Bose speaker to use. Robes and good towels in the bathroom to accompany a rainfall shower (lovely, but the water didn't get very hot...). Perhaps the best reson to stay at least one night in this hotel is the fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. We stayed here during le quatorze juillet (Bastille Day) and got to witness the fantastic fireworks show. Granted, we paid a pretty penny for a balcony room--$322 a night. Would still stay again. Reason for 4 stars: What is up with the check-in and check-out system here? Took forever--about 20 minutes each time--and happened at a makeshift table in the lobby as it seemed there was no real front desk. Not what I would expect for a 5 star hotel. read more

This was my first time in Paris. After reading reviews I was a bit nervous to stay at the Pullman. I read a lot of things about it being small, dirty, unfriendly, and "Americanized". At first glance, I thought it was very nice and the view of the Eiffel Tower was simply mesmerizing. The hotel is located no more than 5 minutes from the Tower and several restaurants. The only thing I disliked was that the restaurants were awful and overpriced. They didn't seem very authentic. The staff at the Pullman were very friendly and helpful, unlike the reviews said. The room views were great. The restaurant in the hotel could have been better. The only reason we ate there was because we received a voucher, otherwise we wouldn't have eaten there. Ok, so the wait for the room was worth it and here's why I change my review: We were placed at the Junior Suite as we reserved, and for our nice surprise the view was the Eiffel Tower! It was big enough and confortable for the three of us. The bed was comfy. My only complaint is about the bathtub, it was so tall that we had to juggle to get into. On the other hand, all the hotel staff was very kind, most of them spoke English. And the breakfast....OMG! It was superb. You can have anything you want: omelettes, croissants, muffins, yogurt, cheeses, dry fruits, fruits, cookies, salmon, ham, different kinds of smoothies and juices, organic jams, coffee, hot cocoa, cappuccino, all very very delicious! The location of this hotel is excellent and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower (well, all Paris is to enjoy walking). If you aren't in the mood of walking or take a bus, there are always taxis at the door of the hotel. Other thing to keep in mind is that the WIFI here is very slow. That and the height of the bathtub are the reasons I put 4 stars. The best of all? The closeness of the Eiffel Tower that makes it visible at any time. DO NOT miss it illuminated at night! read more

After three emails over the course of two weeks I finally received a follow up, they mentioned the was nothing they could do. I was very specific in booking and was given the wrong room, now they won't fix THEIR mistake. You'd think for the amount of money they charge for their rooms they'd have better customer service. We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Rooms are typical size for Europe and clean. Maid service each day. Their power outlets are for 3 separate plug ins including USA. Location is obviously very close to Eiffel Tower but also close to Metro (Line 6) and RCR C. Learning the train system is paramount to getting around Paris. Its very easy and google maps is help with train lines. Never ate in restaurant but looked very nice. came here for my birthday the hotel is great location if your wanting to see the tower, i had a room with a balcony and a tower view the hot water wasn't getting super hot but i didn't make any complaints. i came to the room one evening ( i was staying a whole week) and my key wasn't working i went downstairs they gave me a new key i went back up the key wasn't working i literally sat in the hallway waiting for some special guy to come unlock the door HE NEVER CAME so i went back down and ran into another guy he told me he was the one who fixes those problems but he was never told that i needed help so the guy at the front desk had me waiting 40min and he never even told the guy to come fix my door ( i think its because he was hitting on me and i told him i was not interested i already have a bf) the tall black guy with the braids came and hooked a laptop up to the door and in a matter of 5 min he unlocked it! 1-2 days later the same thing happens now its 2am at night and long story short we had to wait over 2 hours in the freezing cold hallway while they tried to unlock the door we asked for another room so we can lay down and sleep i had to take my medicine and needed food because i was feeling like i was going to pass out the tall black guy with short hair kept laughing and speaking french which he knew i didn't understand he said they have no more rooms avail we would just have to wait i asked can he tell the kitchen to give me something to eat becasue i was feeling super dizzy and he said he will check but food never came i spoke to another person and then was giving another room on a higher floor but it was the same room we already had so how is it i was told all rooms are filled up at 3-4am now but now all of a sudden you have a open room we went into that room and i called the front desk and spoke to them letting them know all out bags are still stuck in our original locked room we have no money on us to get food and stuff can they send up something to compensate since we was locked out our own room for now over 3-4 hours ( i have pics and videos of the whole thing ) they actually had to saw off the door handle to open up the room! someone ended up sending food up to the room but it was just cheese and crackers and i told them due to my diet of what i can eat i was only allowed fruits so i could stop feeling dizzy he didn't give me anything i asked for ! the next day we demanded to speak to a manager and the finally result was they gave us money back for 1 day of hotel stay even though we was locked out 2 times on different days he send champagne and candy and small gifts up to the room and when we checked out he personally said sorry which was a nice thing to do i just wish this hotel had a nicer staff like the tall black man with the braids he was a huge help i honestly feel like the hotel could of gave us more for the suffering we had to face on their behalf read more

Came here with a Viking cruise ship for the second part of the trip. To put my review in context I am a sucker for a luxury hotel. I don't cheap out. I'm willing to pay and I don't whine about price. I'm always working remotely so wifi and a nice desk matter. Don't be deceived by this place. It's a cheap tourist hotel. Weird issue with check-in - someone else with my name checked into my room. Luggage in hand the receptionist refused to believe I really was myself. With a passport. She saw two people with my name and still argued with me. Another patron said "you know an apology would be nice" to her. Nothing. She finally figured everything out. Now for the review: Pros: Wifi reasonably fast but you'll have to pay for fast version Workspace is decent Easy taxis outside Comfortable pillows and linens Nice Eiffel Tower view but only if you upgrade A/C worked well Room is an ok size Robes Cons: No tub Dirty carpet So so gym Far from shopping areas Broken shower head and water turns ice cold in the middle of the shower Mediocre toiletries No Spa! This was a terrible hotel. They charged us the room's posted maximum cost, we didn't have water for 7 hours, and our air conditioning was broken. They also charge 22 euros a day for wireless access. Crazy. I will never stay at a Pullman hotel again. Everything else about Paris was spectacular. My only complaint was being tired all the time. Had a terrible stay at this hotel. We had prepaid for the hotel and breakfast, but when we attempted to check in, they did not have sufficient information on file to verify that the reservation was indeed for us. The did finally allow us to take a room, but required that we allow them to charge our credit card a second time, effectively causing us to double pay for our stay. Even with double payment, they continued to challenge us through the stay that we had not paid. As an example, they attempted to deny us breakfast, even though we had paid twice in advance. The in room refrigerator could not be opened. The shower door leaks profusely, causing a flood in the bathroom with each use. This is obviously an ongoing problem, as there is a water stain on the wall. If you leave your second key in the room during the day, housekeeping will take it. We were unable to get these problems resolved during our 3 night stay, even after numerous complaints to staff and management. Stay somewhere else. read more

I booked AND PAID IN FULL and got confirmation # for the 1186 square foot Eiffel tower suite at the Pullman Paris Tour Effiel hotel and after I paid they changed my room to a 775 smaller room and didn't tell me. I HAVE EMAILS WITH ALL THE PROOF REQUIRED and the hotel has refused to honor the reservation. This is my honeymoon trip. I have been taken advantage of. We were engaged in Pairs a year ago and wanted to go back for our honeymoon. Pullman Hotel has ruined this trip back to Paris for us. I have informed the better Business Bureau and my lawyer. A nice hotel centrally located with it's own underground parking. Our room had a pretty good view of the Eiffel Tower which was unexpected. Nice rooms and good staff - recommended. read more

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights over valentines and my boyfriend got a great deal with this including breakfast. The staff in the hotel were very nice and friendly and at breakfast they kept coming round with more fresh orange and teas/coffees. The rooms were quite basic for a hilton, but they were still very nice and included all your complementary toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic, which was a huge buffet breakfast including everything you could think off, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, rolls, bacon, sausages, the chef made you eggs they way you asked for or omlettes. The hotel was right next to the Eifell Tower, which was beautiful and it was lovely and romantic. The drinks in the hotel though were VERY expensive!, but i suppose Paris is like that now! read more

Well it's 2:00 am on my first night of 2 at the Pullman. End of a Viking cruise so I did not pick the hotel. So far not impressed. Hotel is very dated and halls and rooms could use an update or at least a fresh coat of paint. If you pay the extra 90 euro a night to get a tower view then you can look at it instead of the dreary room. I am awake because I was trying to sleep with the window open since the air does not work in my room. However the street noise is too much. I requested someone take a look at my air conditioner while I was out for the evening. I guess they did not get around to it. I will check again tomorrow and update the review. The bathrooms are extremely dated and the tub is peeling. There is not a single drawer in the room to unpack into. There are free movies if you are a fan of the 1980s. There is not a USB port to be found for phone charging. Had to pull out the converter and plug in my charger. Turns out the air does not work in November. Second night was worse than the first. Apparently there is some major construction going on outside the hotel between 1 and 5 am. Definitely will not be staying here again. One more comment. The deadbolt lock did not work. read more

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We had a second story room with a balcony view of the Eifel tower. The view alone is worth the stay. The rooms are spacious and the service at this establishment is top notch. When they say you are close to the Eifel tower, it's no joke. It's literally a 5 minutes walk. Besides that, the RER transit station is near by. This place is conveniently located with an exceptional view. Next time I'm in Paris, I will be staying at this hotel. read more

Phenomenal. Service/concierge : very polite and accommodating. Very beautiful aesthetic and atmosphere. Central to everything with the Eiffel Tower right at your doorstep. If you have a room with a balcony the view is phenomenal. Try to stay on at least the 7th floor. I would stay here again if I go back to Paris. Another plus is that they gave computers in the lobby and you can use it for free! Print as well. read more
