Stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of September. It was part of the Costco package that book the hotel. It's only fair to say that we tend to be independent travelers and avoid tour groups. This hotel appears to cater to tour groups and business. As a result we really didn't care for the extremely long wait behind the Tourist group that just arrived. It was a very noisy and chaotic check-in. We left for a day to tour around Paris and got home about 4 o'clock in our room was still not made up. Breakfast was adequate but noisy and very crowded. It was a really bad fit for us and would not recommend it unless you're with a tour group. The room was comfortable enough but had no character whatsoever. Typical commercial hotel personally I would like to only give it one star because it was so much not our style but I don't think that's really fair. We were the ones that booked it but I will lower their star rating for their handling of check-in and room service which I found to be really poor. Also we had dinner at the restaurant there. We asked if we needed reservations for two and they said no just come. We got down there at 7 o'clockAll the tables by the window were reserved and we were told they had reservations. We sat a dinner for about one and half an hour not one of those tables filled up. All in all we did not like this place at all. If you have just a couple of days in Paris as a tourist, this hotel would be a great choice since you can see the Eiffel from your room window & can walk in a park to reach the tower & the Seine in about 10 minutes. Yet the place is quiet despite the presence of some tour groups, clean, & roomy. The price is reasonable & the breakfast is sumptuous compared to the petite ones served @ many French hotels. The cons: The check-in took forever & the staff were helpful but not really friendly. Will stay here again. We booked here for our honeymoon. Less than 2 months away from our wedding, my fiancé was diagnosed with cancer. He is scheduled to be hospitalized for chemo during the time we should've been at the hotel. Even if he wasn't, it's not a good idea to be out of the country while he's undergoing treatment, as he is being closely monitored. We've sent them proof of all of this. Standard hospital wrote a letter. They won't issue a refund, credit, or even let us change the dates (we're going to postpone our honeymoon, as my fiancé is expected to be fully recovered in about 4 months). On top of our stress and worry over my fiancé's illness, we are now having to worry about losing out on the money we paid the hotel. Customer service is terrible. I called a couple of times and both employees were rude. They said the only way to file a claim was via email. I emailed multiple times and never received a response. They are not about hospitality. We will not be staying here anymore. read more

Our hotel, the Pullman, is lovely. Our room is very nice and features a compact bathroom. Yes, that is the polite way of saying small. The view is meh, but walk outside and you see the Eiffel Tower. The staff has been great in service and either speak English, attempt to speak English, or quickly get someone who does. Breakfast is included with our stay and puts the breakfast in American hotelmotels to shame. A station for everything. A chef to cook omelets, poach eggs, or other choices. Cereal bar, juice bar with a great variety and a toast station with some fabulous bread choices. Etc. Sated but not stuffed! read more

Pullman hotel... We usually stay here when were in Paris we will be staying with him for a week next month while we're there... As well as staying with their Pullman location in Versailles for two days. The rooms are cute good size for Paris centrally located... Amazing staff super friendly even if your French is not Magnifique.. The rooms are a good size, comfy beds and greattt food! I see a lot of people complaining about the balcony size but the view was worth it get off your balcony and go sightsee that's what you're therefore... This is a hotel with a great location and some rooms with an Eiffel Tower view. It is a tired , "modern" place that hosts tours and airline staff. Breakfast is a buffet, which is good as the coffee and tea are served .... good luck getting any, and it won't be hot by the time you see it. I see the other comments about the ice....if you want to find any, bring your own ice bucket as they don't provide one. Stay for the incredible location....if that doesn't work for you, there re so many better hotels in Paris to try. read more

Service was down right terrible. Even though we checked in late in the evening around 6pm, and the front desk sending us up to our room, we found out that the room wasn't done. There was rubbish all over, shredded paper, food wrappers, drank water bottles and even left-behind clothes. The toilet was in an even worse state with used bathrobes and towels strewn all over. Note that this was despite us checking in later hence giving the hotel more than sufficient time to make the room. To make matters worse, we had to head out around 6+ and actually had to speak with the front desk to get the room made (room phone didn't work). Despite them claiming that they will, we came back at 1130pm to find that the room was still unmade. Our tired souls had to wait another 30 mins close to midnight to get into our room - that we checked into in the evening and reminded front desk again. We have reached out to Pullman management for a resolution. read more

Excellent location! Rooms very clean and modern! Coffee tea available in room. Room service menu limited, I'd like more choices. One night we ordered desert and through translation error ended up with pasta. Called them back, brought desert in less than 10 mins. Next day we returned from doing the tourist thing and there was a card apologizing for the error, a mango drink and a chocolate effiel tower. The elevators are a bit screwy.. keep your eye on the buttons, sometimes they clear and you'll start moving in the wrong direction. ( this needs attention). Lastly, Thomas at the lobby desk was amazing! He's your go to guy for restaurant recommendations. He's friendly and fun to talk with! Friendly staff and very accommodating! read more

We checked in for 5 nights here. We had an interesting situation in that we weren't able to make a reservation for 5 nights in the room we wanted, so we made one for a single night in a different room, and 4 nights in the room we wanted. When we checked in, they had upgraded us for free the first night, which was awesome. So we got to enjoy one night in the Junior Suite room 504. The room was awesome, with 2 balconies and 1 1/2 bathrooms, a living room and a bedroom. It was huge! I wish we could've stayed in it. But alas, the free upgrade was only one night. The next day we were moved to our room, room 1038, which was what I had requested due to the views from the room I found on TripAdvisor. My fellow reviewers did not disappoint! We had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. It was breath taking. The windows opened, which I hadn't expected. The room was small, barely fit our 4 suitcases, but we weren't spending much time in the room, so it wasn't a big deal. There was all the regular hotel stuff in there. The one thing that drove us nuts was the bed. Every time we sat on the edge of the bed and then stood up, the bed popped up. Literally, popped up off the floor. And we had to push with all our might to get the bed back down. One night we got room service, and the chocolate mousse was fabulous. I was constantly needing to go downstairs and get more coffee, because I drink a lot of coffee in the morning. The last day they figured it out and gave us extra coffee. I'll just have to remember to request more coffee with I stay places. No big deal though. The mini bar was locked and we were never able to get it open. The front desk was always very helpful. Never got a bad attitude from a single worker there. Someday, when we go back to Paris, I would absolutely stay here again. Maybe in the Junior Suite the whole time next time. read more

Our first day started rough. We arrived at our room and to be honest Pullman dropped the ball in every imaginable way. We originally rated them 1 star. Their recovery however was legendary. Mistakes happen and no one is perfect but Pullman showed us they would do whatever it takes to take care of their guests. I run a customer service company so I can attest that not everything can always be perfect but the way in which they handled our situation made us completely revaluate our initial feelings of Pullman. The staff is wonderful and they treated us like royalty. Cannot recommend them enough. It's also the best view in Paris :) read more

This hotel is only a stones throw away from the Effiel Tower. When booking ask for a room with a view. When the Tower lights up in the evening,you get a beautiful view. I had a drink here last night and breakfast yesterday. This place is known to have a good breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I walked in at 6:10 a.m After a walk in Paris and the security guys yelled at me and said that I should not use the restroom until after 6:30am even though it was open, and I needed to freshen up. He yelled at me, he was rude. After they yelled at me I decided not to have breakfast there anymore and I will never visit here again. read more

Really nice location. However not worth the $400 a night. No place to sit out and look at the Eiffel tower because the bar with a patio was always being used for river cruise people only. Very disappointing. Nice look out deck with Eiffel tower view but it was off of the work out area with no seating. We would have liked to sit in a relaxing setting and enjoy the view but that was not an option. Also our room was suppose to have a "garden view' . It is not a garden it is a herb garden so looks like weeds not like a nice flower garden. The only true thing this hotel has going for it is the proximity to the Eiffel Tower, there are rooms available with that view but obviously at a higher cost. The hotel appears to be large, so limited rooms for that view, believe there's 10 floors, only one side you can get that view. The room itself is rather outdated. The TV is the big bulky type from the 90's, twist dial for thermostat and the wallpaper alone tells you that it hasn't been renovated in at least 15 years. Air Conditioner didn't work, had to call maintenance. Bed is rather on stiff side, husband and I woke up with neck and back pain. Needless to say, no city view at all which is what I booked. The Mercure hotel is next door and worth exploring price since it is next door. Overall, if you want to a view for the Eiffel tower, it's a great hotel if that's all you want and the proximity, otherwise, for $250/night on hotels.com, it's worth looking elsewhere if comfort is more of what you want. read more

I would give this hotel just one star, but I'm giving it two because it has one thing going for it: the view. My husband and I stayed in this hotel on our honeymoon last summer. From the moment we walked in, I was disappointed for the lack of decor, ambiance, and most importantly, its service. The hotel itself was going through a renovation, so to be fair, some of the issues I have with it may have been resolved since then. But, here are the issues I had with this hotel: 1. The cleanliness: everything was old and stinky. The carpets were disgusting, there was a terrible smell in the restaurant, the bathrooms needed updating, and there were stains on the curtains. 2. The bed: Since there were two beds combined to give it the facade of one, it was uncomfortable and kept moving. 3. The cleaning staff were slow and did not bring replacement toiletries. 4. Mini bar was never refilled, even when we asked for replacement water. 5. The noise: As I suggested, this may be resolved now if the renovations are completed, but every morning at 9 AM we would hear sounds of construction. Not pleasant. The location was great if you want to be by the Eiffel Tower. It was walking distance to it, and we could see it from our balcony. It was quite beautiful at night, especially with its flashing lights. I guess I just expected more from this hotel given its high end price. read more

We first visited the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel when a tour company used it as a meeting spot during our Summer 2016 Paris visit. At that time I said "if I ever come back to Paris I want to stay here." Based on its location so close to Bir Hakim Metro, the Eiffel Tower, and the Seine river boat tours. So we went back in July 2017 and stayed at Pullman Paris. Check in was super smooth. This trip we took our kids 12 and 17. I called the Pullman and they said they had no rooms that would accommodate all of us and said I had to book 2 rooms. So I did. At that time I requested that the rooms be on the same floor and either beside each other or across from each other. They said they would do their best. A month before we left, I emailed the hotel and relayed the request again. They said they would do their best. The day before I requested again with the same reply. So we arrived and the front desk welcomed us and said "we have you in rooms side by side." "One room is ready and the other one will be ready soon. We will take the key to the other room up to your room." We were ecstatic and went out to explore Paris. When we returned to our room--there was no key to the second room. So I went down to the front desk and they tried to give me the key to a room that was three floors under my room. I explained that there must be a mistake, because we were assured that we had adjoining rooms. they checked and saw that the computer did have an entry that said we were supposed to have adjoining rooms--but they had mistakenly rented that room out. So for that night their resolution was to move all of us to a different floor. When we got in that room -- it didn't have a balcony (the first one did). The night desk manager assured me they would take care of it in the morning. In the morning, their only solution was to move us again and then the room still wouldn't have a balcony. At that time my wife was done -- she did not want to keep moving to downgraded rooms. So we settled for the rooms being on the same floor but separated by a room. I must say I was very disappointed in the Pullman/Accor Customer Service. From my perspective -- there are thousands of rooms in France. Pullman is not providing a product--they are providing a service/experience. And my memory of the Pullman experience is that they were only focused on giving me a room(s)--without considering the inconvenience they caused by having us pull our luggage from floor to floor and room to room. At no time did anyone seem empowered to perhaps upgrade a room so that we could be across from each other, offer to move us, throw in breakfast for messing up the promised room, nothing. I don't think that is something that is required, but I think in hospitality when the hotel is at fault they would provide some recompense to leave the customer with a positive experience. I will say that Christophe, the night person did try, but didn't seem to be empowered to provide a solution. The morning manager, Younan Tano also was a positive light. She conveyed professionalism and compassion, but also didn't seem to have the power to offer compensatory measures which may not have solved our problem but would have left us with a positive memory. Instead it seemed that the Pullman didn't care. That was a BIG disappointment. read more

The hotel is very nice and clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The location is just one block away from the subway station, and there is always taxi standby. Love the view of the Eiffel Tower. Celine Yeung, who speaks Chinese, was extremely helpful and provided good services in the cafeterias. We were surprised to see them serve Asian style breakfast. OK, Let me start with the good. The breakfast was not bad. I dont know what the room cost because it was a package deal at the end of a river cruise. Lobby is OK. A little dated art deco style. Get off the elevator and the hallway is dark, smells and the carpet needed to be replaced several years ago, lots of nicks and gouges in the walls and baseboards. Get to the room and the decor is very dated. The air conditioning is off and the room has huge windows with open curtains. It got to be about 90 degrees inside. Close the curtains and turn on the AC. Takes forever to cool down. Ready to get ice and there is no ice bucket in the room. Grab the pot used to heat the morning water and head off to the ice machine. I check all the machines between the 3rd and the 8th floor. None are working. Finally find a working machine on the 9th floor. Load up with ice and head back to the room. Turn on the TV and find you would need an IT expert to figure out how to watch a show. Its late and also very hot outside so we head down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Foods is actually pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Head back to the room and decide to take a shower. I have never seen a shower/tub control so confusing. The flow is very strong on cold but very weak when hot. I figure I will just deal with it and jump in. About half way through the shower it begins making a noise and the water just stops. I finish rinsing off in the sink. Thankfully we are only staying 2 nights. read more

We've stayed in this hotel several times. The best rooms are the ones with the balcony with the Eiffel Tower view, they are very spacious. Last time (April 08) we were put at the other side of the hotel and there was a lot of construction noise going on. My husband was taken ill and the staff helped me with re-arranging flights, etc. The buffet breakfast is the best - just watch how fast the short order cook works. The evening meals are quite good too. If the weather is fine you can sit outside and have a drink. They serve expensive, but good, cocktails. read more

Tourist trap I reserved an Eiffel Tower view room at an increased price. The room we got had the tip of the tower visible and was a handicapped accessible room with no tub or shower curtain with a view of the "garden". When I complained, I was offered a room down the hall for another 100$ with a more complete view. I said no but due to some miscommunication, I was billed anyway as I found out later. I was told before I left it was corrected but have yet to see the correction. All this, took away from the great access to the tower and the river hop on hop off boat, otherwise would have been a good experience. All in all, I feel cheated from a tourist trap-like hotel. read more

Hotel was part of itinerary for a river cruise. We stayed the last two nights. Rooms: while the bed and work space was nice, the bathroom was a wreck. The caulking around the tub had pulled away showing mold and the air vent directly over the shower where there was visible water damage. It must be 15 years old and never really maintained. Restaurant: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We waited 45 minutes for drinks. It became a challenge. Staff was very poor and the prices expensive... Likely due to location near tower. Multiple parties left. If there is a cost to poor service, I can tell you they lost nearly $125 euro a night as that is what we spent else where. Multiply that by the various parties, and they may as well just shut it down. If you have to stay, location is good, but eat elsewhere. read more

Love that there is a chef making eggs every morning, however, I want it. would definitely recommend. There is a restaurant in the hotel and they make amazing food. 1 because the bellman was accommodating and sweet. 2 for location. Everything else is a zero. If you want the room shown on any of the websites you need to pay way more than 300 per night. And unfortunately the rooms themselves are only about $125 worth of value per night. Coming in from out of town starving don't want to roam the streets in the middle of the night don't try ordering room service. You can't even get a burger after 11 PM. In fact I had three choices vegetables, a club sandwich minus the fries (but no discount for minus the fries) you might as well say you don't have room service with these pitiful choices. Our friends have a room with a really good view and balcony like they show in the ads and they paid 4000 for the week let me just tell you this place is not worth $4000 for the week. I made the assumption that because I was spending 300 a night I was definitely going to be in a better place than I was the first time at 100 and night I was definitely wrong. We will not stay at this hotel again because it is hard to find food in Paris after 10 PM and if you are starving and jetlagged this is the worst situation to be in. Worst hotel in my 20 years of traveling.. They are false advertising on their web site about the place.. No air conditioning, people are coming out drenched in sweat.. Kids getting sick due to heat... Non-cooperative...wasted 4 hours of our time to find another hotel for us and still did NOT get us a room .. We are on vacation, not trying to bargain anything... I booked this hotel for the location, the location is good but, mostly everything they show on pictures in reality is not so good, when we arrived they were underconstruction, there was a lot of noise, and on top of that, My family and I, saw that they have prostitution services!! we saw for the 4 days there were the same women in different rooms with different men or around the hotel, this is inacceptable!!! I booked this hotel due to the high level of ratings. I booked and paid for a room with Eiffel tower view (as pictured on the hotel's Orbitz page) and included a note requesting a high floor. Not only did the room have NO view of the Eiffel tower, but we were placed on the 1st floor, right above the entrance...where the noise of cars and taxis is easily heard. When I spoke to management, I was told they couldn't accommodate the room I requested and paid for on that night, but the "manager" whose name was Youssef promised to move us to an acceptable room the next night...that did NOT happen. The staff is rude, dismissive and doesn't give a care in the world. If i request a high floor and you can't accommodate it, the least the hotel could have done would have been to give a room in a middle floor, to show they have TRIED. But giving us a room on the first floor means they did not even look at the details of the reservation, nor did they care. I wouldn't recommend this hotel especially if you're looking for a view of the Eiffel tower. Don't pay the premium. It's not worth it. Orbitz offered a little discount on a future booking for the inconvenience . Needless to say, that offer doesn't make up for the huge price premium I paid for a room with the Eiffel Tower view. My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of month. We were not pleased! For claiming to be a four star hotel and charging four star prices (we arrived with Viking River Cruises for the first two nights, nights three and four at $499 per night and $402 for nights five and six that we added on our own) it was definitely not the case. First the hotel is poorly located if you are interested in the main attractions of the city. We got a private tour guide who taught us how to use the bus system, otherwise we had to use taxis to get anywhere. Secondly, the room was not up to standard. The carpet was filthy and stained throughout the room and the bathroom smelled of mold. My husband is a lung disease patient and is on oxygen. We were very concerned and immediately contacted front desk staff. When we complained a bellman came to vacuum at 9 pm instead of cleaning it properly the next morning as we requested. We were never allowed to speak to a manager either! Besides the bathroom smelling, it constantly leaked by the tub and toilet whether we were using any water or not. Where did that water come from? We were subsequently shown two others rooms that still had carpet and bathroom issues. Thirdly, the breakfast that was included was not good (cold coffee, bad eggs, horrible cereal). read more
