    Ant bites
    Teena S.

Room was filthy. We opened the day bed first night and it had dirty.linens and a soiled wet towel in it. 3 calls before someone came to fix it. Ants all over room. Toilet paper not replaced. Rug filthy. Tape on walls. Ant bites after sleeping with them. No response from hotel.

Fantastic service. Beautiful location. This hotel far exceeded all expectations. They were family friendly as well as quiet and romantic for stolen moments away for my husband and I. The view is incredible. It goes without saying. But the fact that they got service, hospitality, and cleanliness under the belts, too, made it the absolute best.

Our first visit to beautiful Paris and we were pleased with the esthetically pleasing lobby and yummy restaurant at Hotel Pullman. We had a room overlooking the Eiffel Tower for my daughter so we splurged (obviously) approx $985/night. The room was appropriate size with a king bed and a daybed. The rainshower showerhead was nice refreshing touch but the rest was basic. We appreciated the complimentary french orange drink and madeleine cookies once we got to the room. We were troubled however by the ants that were crawling allllll over the desk area (and of course elsewhere in the room - where's there's 1 there's tons). We were jetlagged so we ignored them for a quick nap and afterwards let front desk know and went to meet friends. They said they would address ants and turn down the daybed. Hours later, no turn down and ants still all over. We waited over an hour for someone to come turn the bed down so we decided to do it ourselves. Whatever that's an easy enough fix. Much to our disgust, we opened bed to dirty sheets and a wet cleaning rag (yes wet). This was concerning. Why wouldn't you just strip the bed after the last occupant? Then freshly remake as needed? We called the front desk a 3rd time pretty upset. As we waited - we started to take a closer look at room. (Believe me, we were still tired so we weren't asking for much - bar wasn't high lol.) The carpet was dirty all over and weirdly there was scotch tape hanging on the walls - just randomly...like maybe the last guest had hung up some decorations over bed, etc but the cleaning staff didn't feel it necessary to take it off lol. Odd mention but it gave us some insight into how thoroughly "CLEANED" this room was between guests. ??? Yeah not so much. An employee came up eventually and took off all the dirty bedding and put on fresh bedding for my daughter but didn't speak English (that's understandable we were in France) but couldn't help with ants. We gave up and went to bed but you know where this is going....guess what little critters couldn't help themselves while we slept? Yep. My mom had (what looks like) red bites on her heels the next day. She was sleeping closest to desk. I was lucky to be farthest away so they must have spared me. I did kill one little guy on my side. Sorry buddy. The next day we had a tour alllll day and explained our frustrations OBVIOUSLY (and AGAIN) that morning before we headed out. We just wanted a thorough cleaning and some reassurance that we could sleep peacefully in this very BEAUTIFULLY LOCATED (and EXPENSIVE) room. They seemed shocked and apologetic and said it'd be addressed IMMEDIATELY and manager would be notified. Guess what...no manager EVERRRR spoke to us about these disturbing conditions and the ants were NEVER addressed. I truly wish I was making this up. The ants are probably still all over that room (and probably others). I hate putting negative energy out into the universe, but people deserve a warning. Even with the beautiful view from the balcony (which we PAID FOR!) it wasn't worth it folks and that breaks our heart because it was my daughter's dream to see the Eiffel tower and this place tainted that memory for her and us. We can't get that back now. My mother has wrote a review - they say they will be in touch (lol just like the 5 different people in hotel said) and no one does so Hotel Pullman...spare us. We don't want your apologies or restitution. Youuuuu DIDN'T make your dirty, ant filled bed so YOUUUUU get to lie in it. Not us... EVER again.

Great hotel. Excellent staff. We were able to go to our room earlier than the 4pm check-in time (they text us saying our room was ready at 1 or 2) which helped immensely. The only disappointment unfortunately was that that we where told the rooftop was closed to hotel guests due to private event throughout our stay. Otherwise highly recommend!

Chose The Pullman due to its proximity to the Eiffel Tower, which did not disappoint. Upgraded to the tower view room with a balcony to enhance the experience. Arrived later in the evening, which made check-in a breeze. Front desk staff was impeccable. My only reservation is the hospitality team. One two occasions I observed a team member come into the room without knocking. On one occasion, I observed what seemed to be the hospitality manager leaving the room without any acknowledgement of why she was in there. It was a very uncomfortable feeling, which I reported upon departure. Otherwise, the property is as marketed.

Long and short: The view is great, and is close to the Eiffel Towers, but save your money and DON'T stay at the Pullman. Concierge, are rude, requests are not handled in a timely manner, and cleaning is not sufficient. Full review: The evening we checked in to the Pullman we came in on a high, having just spent an amazing week in London and now fulfilling a dream of coming to Paris. It was wildly busy but we were so happy to be there it wasn't a bother to wait. Upon stepping to the counter, we were assisted by Chloe. She was friendly and was quick to assist, she mentioned our room, (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT) and it having a King-Sized bed and a sofa bed as my family was checking in. She expressed the need for a credit card for the city fees and proceeded to hand me our keys. Simple, we were a bit bummed to be on the third floor (Room 337) but with a 4 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, shoot we didn't care. We walked into the room and it had TWO SINGLE BEDS, this was ABSOLUTLY not what I had paid for. I went back down stairs and Chloe was gone, and Jeff with a bothered attitude "assisted". He said that "you booked a room for only yourself and one other person". He said that the room would, "Just have to do." The SECOND I mentioned a refund, he got a manager, Faiza. She wasn't much nicer than Jeff, but I wasn't budging, she proceeded to say that the rooms I was talking about were not available but that the new room had a King-sized bed and they would provide, what we in the US call a roll away bed. It took them THREE HOURS to get that roll away bed to my room, and I had to ask twice. The second room was on the 11th floor with an amazing view, but here's the thing it STILL wasn't what I paid for. At that point, Chloe, Jeff and borderline Faiza had made me feel incredibly unwelcome in France. * With that being said, the ONLY reason this hotel is getting the rave reviews is the view's can be phenomenal, IF you have the right room. Other than that; * Checked in Sunday night, Thursday was the first day they gave us more than two towels without having to ask, every day we had to ask and it usually took a couple hours to get them. * The rooms were never cleaned properly, only the bed were made that's it. * Our shower was broken and the water pooled horribly on the ground. * Side note, it's not close to anything else you'd likely want to see in Paris. I see that the Pullman staff responds to such reviews, but it would only add further insult to injury if they did, since there is literally nothing, they could do to save face. Save your money, the Pullman isn't worth staying at.

Expectation Vs reality Don't stay here

Don't waste your time or money!! This place is why Americans say what they say about France. This place is a tourist trap and I 100% regret my choices to book here from the minute we checked in. I booked this place in June 2022, for30Dec2022 - 03Jan2023. From the pictures it looked like a great view of the Eiffel Tower and nice rooms. We booked a "deluxe king with a view a balcony view of the Eiffel Tower and Trochadaro". What we got was a joke! By view of the Eiffel Tower they mean get out your selfie stick so you can see it. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a view of a local track, and a parking lot with graffiti. We stayed in two other hotels during our stay in Paris (less expensive hotels) that were 100% better. Check in took forever. King size bed is not a king size bed. When you book there is no guarantee what floor you will be on - I can't imaging how awful the 1st or 2nd floors are. When we talked to the manager about being mislead by their marketing, his solution was - "we can give you a different room but it won't have a better view". Rooms also have a smoky smell and walls are thin. Most of the staff did speak English which was nice but that's about it.

Amazing stay at the Pullman. I had an Eiffel Tower view with balcony and it was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and modern. The shower was amazing and had luxe beauty products. There is a bar and restaurant and they also have room service. Prices were very reasonable. It was in a perfect location and walking distance from everything, restaurants and shops. Everyone was super nice and helpful and check in and check out was a breeze!

Very nice hotel near the Eiffel Tower. Our room was on the eleventh floor. The one unfortunate thing about this hotel is that they didn't have enough elevators to accommodate the large amount of people during peak times. It often was a very long wait. We enjoyed their breakfast every morning. And even had lunch there one day. We also appreciated that they offered Covid testing in the mornings. I want to add that both my husband and I tested posted for Covid and could not leave to come home to the United States. This hotel treated us very kindly, extending our stay, offering to get us medical attention (we didn't need it), and making sure we had everything we needed. We quarantined for 5 days before testing negative. I must admit, the room service menu was a bit limited, but I was very happy with our stay.

Each balcony room was perfectly appointed and prettily decorated, comfortable beds but most importantly spotless (and cleaned each day). There are luxurious guest robes and many soft towels. The bathroom was so pretty and also spotless. The staff treats you like family and they are friendly, warm and so helpful. Prior to our arrival Alavia arranged airport transfers for our party of 6 as well as multiple restaurant reservations. While we were there, the staff arranged for our transfer to Versailles and helped us with reservations on two more occasions. All recommendations they made were wonderful. The lobby is also so comfortable and they serve breakfast downstairs in the hotel. The night before our departure, a thank you note and chocolate was left in my room as well as a tote bag. Such a special treat for us on a night we were sad to be leaving the next day. We fell in love with Paris and hope to go back. If we do, we will stay at Hotel Signature again! She took the time to give us a map and orient us to the hotel's location in relation to all of the major landmarks. We rode the very cute and very small elevator up to our room on the 6th floor. There are only about six rooms on each floor, so it is small and quaint in the best of ways. Upon opening the door to our room, we were greeted with the most lovely king suite. The suite was well appointed, with a large closet and shelves for storing your stuff, a mini fridge, a TV, etc. The wallpaper was totally intriguing, covered in black and white sketches of different Paris scenes and landmarks. Upon further inspection, we found that the wallpaper wasn't actually wallpaper! It was some kind of fabric wall covering like a canvas stretched over a frame. It was super cool and so representative of this intimate hotel. In our room, we also found a lovely personalized welcome note. I cannot say enough about how accommodating the people at this hotel are. We were assured that there is always someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, and indeed there was. On Christmas Day, we returned to our room to find a handwritten Christmas note along with some little treats from the nearby Maison du Chocolat, which we learned ourselves is NOT cheap. Manuela was a tremendous source of information for us, giving us directions, recommendations and helping us with special requests. The bed was very comfortable, our suite was clean and quiet. The bathroom was fine. We will absolutely return next time we're in Paris.
