    Spinach Pie & Salad platter
    Curtis J.

This is my favorite Greek spot on this side of town, and in my top 3 for the greater Richland County area period. The food is always so fresh, which is sad to say as a comparison but totally true. The salads are especially well made, and as a vegetarian I appreciate both the size taste of the falafel, my usual go to dish. This last visit I got the spinach pie, which wasn't as stacked as I expected (I was probably comparing it to Moussaka) but it was still very tasty. Their grape leaves are good too, as is the hummus,by I can take or leave the lemon potatoes. My sweetie has enjoyed both their gyro and lamb dishes. There is also ample seating for dine-in customers, and it's nicely spread out. There's no table service though, you have to order at the counter, which is fine. My biggest letdown is, like so many other local places, that they don't make babaganoush. The service is usually very good too, especially for over the phone orders, which can truly go south at many places. I appreciate Gyromania Grill and hope they have a long life.

I really wanted to love Gyromania so bad, but my experience this past Saturday just didn't match what I've had before. My wait was super long two families who ordered after me got their food first. When my order finally came out, it was handed to me in a brown paper bag with the plate placed sideways, as if they'd run out of the regular plastic bags with handles. I asked for one, and instead of bagging it up, the young lady set my food on the table behind me, went to serve another family, and then finally brought the plastic bag back but just handed it to me without any effort to actually put the food inside. By the time I made it home, the brown bag was soggy (as expected), and if I hadn't asked for the plastic one, the food probably would've fallen out. Really disappointing because I've enjoyed this place before, but the service and care just weren't there this time.

Sparkling clean restaurant, take out or dine in and fresh to order Greek specialties as well as burgers, chicken and shrimp for those pickier eaters who don't venture far from the traditional American standards. Tables are well paced out, plenty of staff so great service and food comes out hot and fresh. A great alternative to fast food sitting under a heat lamp for eternity. Definitely a delicious alternative to drive thru value meals...

Every single time I go, the food is hot, fresh, and so delicious. I'm very picky when it comes to Greek food, but this is definitely some of the best I've ever had. The beef tenderloin is hands down the best I've ever tasted. It's better than what I've had at actual steakhouses!! One little detail I love--if you get your food to-go, they tape the straw to your drink so nothing spills and you don't end up leaving without it. It might seem small, but it shows how much they think about the customer experience. The restaurant is always clean no matter what time of day you go. If you're in the area and haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Go love on this place!

Food was very good and service was quick. The fries have a nice Greek and salt seasoning on them.

We stopped here on a whim for lunch today. They were the friendliest employees with great smiles and very patient. We had the chicken gyro platter and the lamb gyro platter. Both were fresh and so good. Definitely a nice family atmosphere . The bathrooms were clean and there is plenty of accommodating parking. For sure going back!

Found this spot through yelp and decided to give it a try. The service was great. The lady who took my order was very friendly. The restaurant looked clean and nice and organized. Lots of natural light during the day. My food was delicious. I loved the fries and the chicken gyro was really good. The bread was so soft. My husband had the burger it was really good he had the double but the regular would of been enough for me I took a bite out of his. The Pattie's were a good size.

This place hasn't even been opened for a month. I wanted to swing by here sooner but yesterday was my day. The inside dining area was crowded. Not many seats available. I waited in line for a couple of minutes and then I placed my order. I ordered the beef gyro, a lemonade and fries. I was told the wait would be about 10-15 minutes. I ventured next door to DG while I waited. When I came back over, I still had about a 5 minute wait. Which was fine. I drove home with my food which I hate doing. I think the gyro traveled well but not the fries. Soggy. But, the gyro was very flavorful! The tzatziki sauce was great! I would definitely return here. Like I said, fries didn't travel well. They are placed in a tray and placed in a paper bag. They were seasoned well. The lemonade was not good at all. It was very watered down. It was the Minute Maid lemonade. They have a sign asking for patience as they are short staffed. So please pack patience. The wait wasn't terrible but I think I have heard that the wait can be more than 15 minutes at times.

There is available seating but you must order first. It's a casual environment. Nice people who work there. Compared to other gyro spots it wasn't the best. The shrimp pita was different and worth a try. Cost is $. For 5 people it was about $80.

First time NO COFFEE....waitress laughed and said coffee machine broke. The food was served cold and bland; nothing special. Waitress never came around to see if we needed anything. Finally had to get up and go to counter to ask for assistance. Twice now the waitress either ignored us or was blind to us being there. Second time our food must have sat out waiting to be served and was cold and obviously dried out. Waitress was too busy chatting it up with another table, served three other tables that came in after us, talking on phone all whilst we sat ignored and waited ...watched ....waited ....waited and waited while our food sat waiting to be picked up and brought to our table. Absolutely unacceptable. Waitress needs training.

Unfortunately, this visit just wasn't it. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere, which was fine. A server came by to take our drink order, only to let us know they were out of both drinks we originally wanted. No big deal--we pivoted. But then my sweet tea came with Splenda and no spoon to stir it, and silverware never made an appearance at all. What really sealed it, though, was the service--or lack of it. Another server spent close to 20 minutes chatting with a table about something completely unrelated to the restaurant while we sat there unnoticed. During that time, three separate parties were seated after us and were promptly given menus, silverware, and attentive service. We were never checked on again. After sitting there watching everyone else be taken care of, it became pretty clear we weren't going to be served that day. So we got up and left. I always hate sharing experiences like this because I truly want local businesses to succeed. But service matters just as much as the food, and sadly, this visit missed the mark entirely.

They have reopened with more space and now have switched things to a buffet style restaurant. We had a party of six go today for lunch. Their hours are now from Friday - Sunday, 11AM - 8PM, and offer a full buffet )$18.95) or a Meat & Three or Meat & Two options. You can also order alacarte if you desire. They had a huge selection..Fried Chicken, Chicken with bacon, Brisket slices, Fried Pork tenderloins, Collards, green beans, lima beans, corn, black eyed peas, mash potatoes/gravy, banana pudding and peach cobbler along with a full salad bar. I've probably left off several things. Needless to say there's quite a selection. I tried a fried chicken breast. It was very good, crispy and not dry. Went well with the mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The collards and green beans were also good. I wasn't a big fan of the brisket. It was hard to cut with the knife that they'd given me, but it did have a good taste. I probably wouldn't order that again. I also didn't care for the peach cobbler as much as I usually do. The salad bar had two types of lettuce and quite a large choice for dressings. They also had a broccoli salad which was very runny and not as good as I would've thought. The lighting could be improved over the buffet items as it was hard to tell what some of them were. They had signs in front of the items on the glass but not everything was listed..having to ask what many were. I was a big fan of Southern Mama's at the other smaller site where they served regular sit-down and order from the menu. The buffet format just didn't impress me as much. You move down the line and the staff would take your tray and load it with whatever you picked. Then you sit at a table and the waitress will bring you your drink and often checks on you to see if you need anything else. Service was good. The opinion from my friends: Four of us had chicken. Two of us liked it, two didn't. The vegetables and sides were all good. The beets from the salad bar were just so-so, not great. Broccoli salad wasn't popular with two of us. I don't know if I'd go back for the buffet. I'd prefer to order just the chicken, mashed potatoes and Gravy as a meal. From what I've heard it can get busy on a Sunday. We arrived at 11:30 (Saturday) and there was plenty of room, but by 12:30 it was starting to build up a line to get in.

We split a large Philly Cheesesteak and had an order of onion rings. The rings came out in about 15 minutes and there really weren't many onion rings in the metal plate they were served in...maybe 6-8 onion rings. She also brought ketchup with them so we asked for some ranch sauce to dip them in....she brought that out to us. The Philly steak came out a bit before 11:30 and we thought it took a little long to make a cheesesteak. Along with the Cheesesteak she brought out another order of onion rings and said she thought the first order really didn't have enough onion rings. I was impressed that she was aware of it. We weren't really impressed with the cheesesteak. It was very "wet" mainly because the cheese was so runny. It was a light colored cheese, not sure what type, and the meat was very finely chopped up. The bread was good and held up to the wetness of the sandwich. My wife ate about half of her half and didn't like it. I considered it just "ok" and probably will try their pizza or another dish next time. I like the atmosphere of the older place more than the new building. It seems very cold..lots of large windows, small metal chairs and tables (no booths), and plywood ceilings (noisy when crowded according to friends that have benen there). They do have a nice patio outside...just wish the inside was more inviting.
