The food is refreshing, light, and satisfying. Portions are medium to large. Of special note is the Lentil soup. It is creamy, savory, and delicious! It's a must-have when you visit. Fattoush salad is light and lemony. Our server remembered us from our last visit two months ago and what we enjoyed-- friendly, helpful, and attentive. The facility is decorated well and clean, especially the restroom. Loopy Lemon does not disappoint-- plan a meal here when you visit Camden. read more

We came to Loopy Lemon on Christmas Eve and had such a great time. The food was amazing--super fresh, flavorful, and so good! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the dips were especially yummy. The kids loved the grilled chicken and potatoes. It's always nice finding a place where the kids also enjoy!! The lemon bar dessert was so good and the perfect way to end the meal. Eating at Loopy Lemon really made our Christmas Eve feel extra special. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! read more

We came for brunch as avid Lebanese/Mediterranean fans. The restaurant was absolutely adorable and everything in the world we expected. We came right at the cusp of breakfast and linch and they were able to accommodate the breakfast and lunch menus.. that said, the food was good. Just good. Nothing super great to write home about. Glad we tried and worth it if you live in the area, but I wouldn't make a dive again. read more

Food and service was amazing! Place was very clean and easy to get to. We will be back if we are in town

Love this spot so much. Such a warm, eating at a friend's house but still convenient and chic vibe. The owner works so hard to take care of everyone and brings a lot of laughter to the restaurant. She gave us great recommendations on the menu that is already bursting with fresh and healthy options. This is easily my favorite lunch spot anytime I am seeing friends in the Camden/lugoff area. Will be back soon and I have my eye on the desserts window until then! If you want to sample anything from the menu just ask- they have always been gracious to let me try a side or a salad before committing to it for my meal. The sofa seat table is my fav and I always try to snag it if it is available. read more

Had lunch here while traveling through. The menu is very limited but I found something that I thought I would enjoy. I ordered the greek salad with grilled chicken $16 . At the price I expected a filling salad and possibly a piece of pita bread. The salad was very small and had no more than 3-4 oz of cold dry grilled chicken" probably grilled a day ago", NO feta cheese, no kalamata olives, limp romaine lettuce. I did ask the waitress and received some feta cheese but they did not have the kalamata olives, they substituted nasty green bar olives which I don't like. And the $16 salad does not come with bread. The vinaigrette dressing was very good. read more

Today I had the special, a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and pimento cheese on sour dough bread with a side of the potatoes. It was so very good! I hope they add this to the menu and suggested they do too! The waitress was very nice and helpful. It's a cute little restaurant and I look forward to going back when in town. read more

The dishes are amazing. everything is so fresh, unique and just delicious! I drove from Columbia twice now and will go there often. Great choices on the menu, and amazing food! I love the decorations too, and the staff is always friendly.

I ordered the "make your own plate" what I got was really disappointing. Small servings with a large price tag, no warm pita bread but a cold flour tortilla instead. So sad because I really wanted to like this place. Service was lackluster and it took a while to be waited on and I was forgotten about after that. Never once approached to see if I needed anything or to ask me how I was doing. read more

Such a cute place with an eclectic vibe in the heart of downtown Camden! I frequent there for their amazing lunches, but tonight the family tried out their new dinner menu + an appetizer & I got lucky enough to try their special of the day, a teriyaki bowl! Yum! My husband got the steak sandwich that he loved & will definitely be back for! The service was fast, attentive, and kind. Also loved their wine options, made our dinner complete read more

I have been dying to come and test out this cute little cafe for the year that I have lived in my small town and this little gem did not disappoint. The. The atmosphere is super cute and has an eclectic vibe. The flavors are really amazing in the sandwich I had and my father loved the chicken salad and apple slaw he ordered. While the garlic green beans took me by surprise, the ladies were super quick to change it out for another side when they noticed I did not dish in with the same gusto. Our food came out super quick and the tunes were pretty great.I'd definitely recommend this to everyone I know at work. Thank you guys. read more

(I was told upon payment that the managerial team is entirely new and that they bought the name, also, the menu is a bit different focusing less on "fusion" and more on mediterranean? fare) The food here was delicious, I had avocado toast and my company had some of the lovely mediterranean themed breakfast plates which are a nice savoury spin on what is traditionally a very sweet dish in America. I had some amazing turkish coffee that comes small but gives an explosion of energy. The layput was bright (BIG windows) and adorned with a few thematic colors and nautral brick and wood exposed in key places on the walls. I would definitely return if I lived in Camden, but I'm planning it for my next visit for sure!! read more

We stopped here while in a road trip to Pawley's island. I had the Shrimp and Grits and WOW! Amazing! My kids both had biscuits and gravy. My wife had a sandwich. We all said it was excellent. My son wants to make sure we stop again on the return trip :) great food, great service and great atmosphere. We love this small town, quaint café read more

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant like this one. The chicken salad was so bland, the chicken was super dry and burnt. The total bill was 41. I feel like I just throw my money away. read more

Found this using the I-Exit app. What a neat find in downtown Camden. We were traveling from Ft Bragg to Greenville, SC and got hungry. I didn't want fast food and I'm so glad we stopped here! Service was top notch!! So friendly and patient with us as we ordered. The interior was cute and eclectic, a boho chic atmosphere. The food was so delicious. The apple slaw and pesto salad sides were very flavorful. The dessert hit the spot at the end of the meal!! If I ever come back through Camden I'll be sure to stop in again! read more

My wife and I went to Camden to run some errands and decided to pick up lunch. We had been past The Loopy Lemon Cafe on a previous trip so we decided to pop in and have lunch there this time. We loved the atmosphere and the service was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't stop raving about it to each other. I didn't have leftovers of the smoked salmon benedict, but my wife took home half of her sandwich to enjoy later. We will definitely be going back to The Loopy Lemon Cafe in the future. This is a cute little spot for lunch in downtown Camden. The interior is bohemian/eclectic with mixed cushions and fairy lights. The menu is just the right size - not too many items. I had the pimiento cheese blt with green beans, and it was really good. The bacon was salty and thick, the tomato slice was thicker, and the pimiento cheese added a nice punch of flavor. The service was fast and courteous, too. Five stars! read more

The Loopy Lemon Cafe - Turkey, brie and peach preserves croissant Bacon Benedict Sides: sweet fruit & very tasty chorizo and pimento cheese potato bake. - Cafes Near Me - Camden, South Carolina

My wife and I had lunch here for the first time. We loved the decor. Urban rustic, with kinky art work and decor. My wife had 1/2 Sandwich and Salad. While the taste was great her sandwich needed another slice of turkey and more of the Peach preserves on the bread. I had the Chicken salad sandwich. It was everything you would want. It even had a little twist we think dill seeds. However the Rosemary Roasted Potatoes were dry tough and cold they should never have been served. We may go back but not likely, given better options in Columbia. The staff was excellent and the green tea was great. Price was a bit high for what you get Camden has a tax on Restaurant dinning. read more

There are not a lot of good local places in the area, but there's a lot of hype regarding this place here in Camden, so I was thrilled to try it out. We decided to try it on a Saturday for lunch. The cafe is beautiful, very nice ambiance, wonderful staff, and very clean place. The food overall was okay, we had several items in the menu and it was delicious enough, nothing we really want to come back for frequently, but good enough to visit from time to time. Here's the thing about this place: it is not a kid friendly restaurant. There's simply not a kid menu and it seems to be exclusively geared to adults. THAT SAID, we did request deconstructed meals for the children, which they did make for us. So they are very accommodating and absolutely will go the extra mile to make guests of all ages feel comfortable and well fed. Overall, a good experience! read more

Excellent salads and sandwiches the atmosphere was unique and relaxing , the service was great

The most AMAZING hidden gem of a restaurant, a fusion of Southern, British, Indian and Mediterranean food and influences, and chefs/owners Paul and Sam constantly looking for new and enticing dishes to regale you with. It is impossible to pick out a single favourite here as there are so many delicious offerings to tempt the palate of anyone willing to step outside of what every other generic restaurant is serving. So if you want more than just precooked microwaved, steak/burger and fries etc step inside The Loopy Lemon and prepare your tastebuds for a wild, interesting epicurean delight. read more

What a wonderful, unique, small-town gem! A perfect place to take out-of-town guests. The chicken salad is wonderful - we bought extra to take home. The desserts are amazing. Can't wait to come back! It's worth the extra trip from Columbia if you don't live in Camden. read more
