Great authentic foods! Owner is super nice too. A little pricey but definitely worth the $$$.

Shlomo catered my daughter's OTD graduation party for over 100 people. He was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious! My guests kept telling me how much they enjoyed it and wanted to know where it came from for their future parties. read more

I placed an order for pickup/takeout and it was pleasantly received. I ordered a mixed (chicken & beef) "Yummy Platter" with regular rice. A minimal amount of white sauce was initially added to the platter, so, they leave room for you to add more to your preference. Equal amounts of chicken and beef were provided; the platter itself is a generous portion, so, I think one platter could possibly serve 2 people. One of the main things that impressed me was that the meat was not dry, compared to other restaurants/venues that serve a similar cuisine--- everything included in the platter was quite fresh. **UPDATE: The chicken shish kebab entree is a great choice and a must-try-- you get your choice of side, plus you can't forget the white sauce! read more

We found it based on the Yelp rating, and the team there delivered! I ordered the lentil soup, and it was a warm, relaxing bath at the end of the day. For the main course, my guest ordered the chicken kabob and rice as a side. She said the rice was sitting by the fire in December, while the chicken kabobs were a walk in the neighborhood (we like our neighborhood). I had a Mediterranean salad with gyro meat. It was an early morning at a Mediterranean beach - very refreshing. I would say 4.5 stars, erring on the side of 5. I will definitely be back. read more

This place is great and you should DEFINITELY give your support. This restaurant is owned by probably the NICEST PERSON EVER. He treats everyone like family and always pays his respect to the local police. Me and my family love ordering and catering from him and you should definitely try the unique food. Keep it up, love your food! read more

Great food and great service. First time there and enjoyed trying baba ganoush. I worked near by and didn't think of going there until this past week. read more

Possibly the worst take out (delivered) food I've had in years. Lamb chops were burnt and dry. Shawarma was worse. Could not have been more disappointed! read more

We were driving thru the area on our way back from vacation. My wife found this Mediterranean restaraunt with great reviews. We tried it out and it was Awesome. The beef, lamb and chicken were incredible. Hummus, pitta and tzatziki were homeade and wonderful. We talked to the owner and he is such a nice guy. He even treated us with some free baklava. We Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

Very good food and variety, great value, friendly team, great ownership. Easy parking.

Overall: average nothing special Food Ordered chicken and lamb gyro. I was disappointed when I took my first bite. Other reviews say the food is made to order, but when I got mine the meat was on the cooked side. I love my food hot and was disappointed mine was cold. Sauces were ok nothing special I was in the neighborhood and wanted to try based on the review but not sure I would return read more

Quality of gyros was a bit short. Service was ok and ambiance was ok. It seems I enjoyed the gyros more a couple of years ago when I was there for my first visit. I don't think there will be a third. read more

Just had the most delicious meal here. The food is tasty and fresh. Owner is from Israel and he is extremely pleasant. They play middle eastern music and it is just a wonderful atmosphere. Literally the best place for Mediterranean food in wayne. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel valued and make sure you get the best food possible. Food is Kosher/Halal and they have many Vegeterian options. We usually get the super real hummus and a combo platter to start for take out and have been experimenting with the menu for only about a week or so. Definitely a 5 star place because of the service, price and service. read more

First time trying and it was good. The pita bread was good. Actually my first time getting that much pita bread. I honestly love the pita bread. But anyways I got the chicken ( spicy ) platter with rice and lettuce & tomatoes. Like I said honestly wasn't bad. I can honestly say they give more then juicy platters. I can definitely say I got full off half the food. The white sauce was perfect. You can help yourself to as many. The staff is nice and also quick with making the food. Go try it out if your in the neighborhood you won't regret it. Plus the price for my food was ONLY 9.88 / not exactly but for that much food that's a great price. read more

Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. The chicken is by far, the best I have ever had at any Greek restaurant, let alone any restaurant. The shish kabob has huge tender chunks of chicken and the gyro has the warmest, softest pita. The staff is friendly and professional. I can't wait to order again! read more

Listen to me, this food is so good, I was actually sad when I took my last bite of chicken shawarma sandwich. It was one of the most flavorful shawarma I have ever had. Just enough of everything on the sandwich. The sauce isn't tzatziki that I'm familiar with, but it's very tasty and they give you as much you want which is an awesome thing for a shop to do. Got the app sampler, which had babaganoush (perfectly smokey and great consistency), humus (great and fresh), Labneh (great and fresh), and something that seemed liked eggplant caponata (great and fresh), a couple of kibbeh (GOOD) and some falafel also good. Enough of everything for wife and I (adults and of 'average' weight) to make two meals of. I just wanted to keep eating everything, long after I was full. Just had some leftovers and had to come and leave this review. To the owner -- Please, can I come to your house some Sunday for dinner to try a home cooked meal? I'll bring wine, be in and out after the food is gone and I will argue on behalf of whichever political party you favor. I'll write songs about your ancestors and how mighty they were. I promise I will be the most polite dinner guest in the history of dinners. Anyway, the rest of you, go eat here and delight in food that is prepared excellently. This is a GREAT place to experiment with 'foreign' food since it is so good. I can't wait to go back and get more food. I still have some in the fridge but I can't wait to go back and get more. The last thought I'll leave you with is - Have you ever had really great sex and then been lying there, looking around and think "Huh. That was really something," and feel satisfied and maybe even a little shocked. That's what this was like. read more

I've been craving Mediterranean food and this place was awesome. Ordered hummus and chicken shawarma platter with salad... both tasted fresh and delicious! Let me start by saying WOW!! We were up in the area running errands on my way to visit my mom, we need a quick place to eat and remember reading the reviews for Gryo Grill. At that moment I did not recall the name so I did a quick search on Google maps and routed are path to stop here. They met and exceeded our expectations and every bit of the positive reviews I had read were true. All the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff along with the owner were very gracious. We must not be the only ones in the area feeling this way because the takeout orders were flying out of there. Although it's not local in our neighborhood we will definitely make the trip to be back here often. read more
