If I had known that upfront, I would not have spent the time bringing everything in and leaving it for review. I was contacted later and told they couldn't take anything because they were on a baby clothing buying freeze, and that holiday items would not be purchased until September. That information would have been helpful to know before drop-off. I also received my clothes back unfolded and messy, despite bringing them in neatly folded. I understand that resale shops have to make decisions about what inventory they need, but clear communication about what categories and seasons you are currently accepting, especially before customers spend time sorting, folding, and hauling in bags of items, would make for a much better experience.
