I personally love these types of stores. I never know what I will find, and that's half the fun of it all. This particular Homegoods store is large, well laid-out and very neat. (In some stores you can find stuff strewn all over the place, or items placed in incorrect sections by customers, or worse, on the floor. Here, there's none of that). It's well lit, too, and the aisles aren't too narrow (an issue I've encountered in other stores). While visiting here I asked to use the washroom in the back of the store. (Unlike other stores, unfortunately here the bathroom door is locked, and an employee needs to unlock it for you). Not the best system, but hey, I guess they need to monitor this due to shoplifting or people using drugs or something, I'm not sure. Anyhow, thank goodness I found an employee nearby and she was SO nice. Super friendly. That kinda made up for the hassle of having to find someone to unlock the door. They had the usual home decor and kitchen and bathroom accessories and gadgets here, but there was more furniture than I've seen in other Homegoods stores, and I also saw a few doggie strollers - and they were super nice! (Where were these when I was looking for one for my senior dog??? So good to see them here). I was really tempted to leave my cart after 10 minutes of waiting (it took 17 minutes before we could ring out! Such a long wait). Not great.
