This was our second stop while looking for a king bed. We walked in & was greeted by JC & he told he'd be right there after finishing up with the couple at the register. We told him what we were looking for & what type of bed we didn't really like. From the knowledge we learned at the first store, we knew we wanted a spring mattress not memory foam. So he had us lay on his most popular one. It was a bit out of our price range so he had us try something similar for a lower price & also another one at an even lower price. He also suggested we try the hybrid which is foam on he top layer, spring on bottom. We liked that as well. We narrowed it down to the hybrid & middle price point spring, but in the end chose the spring. We were told that the king size would have to be ordered & that it would take 2 weeks. Delivery was free, unlike the first place we visited. JC was great, he wasn't pushy & we didn't feel pressured to buy it. We got a call in just 1.5 weeks that it was ready. They communicated well the night before the timeframe they'd be coming & when they were about 10 minutes. A very quick easy drop off. Last night was our first night with the bed, & ohhhh it's so nice. Our dog sleeps in our bed & we all have space now without feeling cramped. We had a great nights sleep. Locally owned, go get your bed here! read more

The best place to buy a mattress. Couldn't be happier about the entire process. Zero pressure and a nice variety of options.

Robert Cannon our sales person was very informative and helpful without pressuring us. Helped us come to a great decision. Looking forward to our next purchase with him in the future. read more

On our way to Mattress Firm for a new mattress - we passed by Sleep Bargains and decided to stop. Robert was amazing! He tailored our choices to what we needed in a bed ( my husband and I have different preferences ). He was super informative, and knew everything about each mattress - down to how they are made. He made the experience easy, and he worked with us on our budget. SO happy we stopped here - and got the mattress of our dreams. Thank you Robert - will refer anyone looking for a new mattress - here! read more

My HYBRID mattress has been the best purchase and my pain subsided. AWESOME service, Quick delivery and I WILL DEFINITELY be returning for my guest bed mattress and to upgrade our bunk mattresses in the future! Thank you Robert and sleepbargains. read more

Sleep Bargains - Mattresses Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Don't look any further - Sleep Bargains is where you should buy your mattress. We recently moved to the area and had to furnish our house, so we shopped around at every mattress store in the area. Shane, the owner of Sleep Bargains, is a great salesman who thoroughly answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed despite our numerous questions. He gave us good deals on both of the beds that we ended up purchasing from Sleep Bargains, and even covered the sales tax to keep our business on this side of the river. We've been happy with our purchases for over 7 months so far. Shane even sent a thank-you card after our purchase, which is a rare treat from modern salespeople. It's unlikely that we'll have to return to Sleep Bargains anytime soon thanks to the long warranties on the mattresses, but we'll be returning to Sleep Bargains the next time the need arises! read more

Great store with good products and helpful customer service. Purchased 2 mattresses from them and will continue to do so even though I don't live in the area read more

Newly married and we decided we needed a new mattress/bed. We started at the usual places and we wanted to shop around. Third place we landed was sleep bargains and it didn't disappoint. Shane the owner walked up through what options he had in the models we were looking at. We were surprised at the unique selection he had. We found a local brand that had a bed we loved. We really wanted a split king with a split king adjustable base. Everywhere we looked it was out of our price range being $6,000 plus. So we were going to settle for a king bed with a split base for future purchase. But Shane is a local owner with a local bed and we were able to get what we really wanted! We got a split king with the split king adjustable frame for $200 more than the other bed. What really special is that I loved the memory foam and my husband love the latex mattress and with having the split king option we could both get what we wanted for no additional money. Plus free delivery and set up!! So excited! Thanks so much Shane! We appreciate your great service. read more

Me and my partner just moved into a new apartment and needed a bed asap! Our first stop was to try a local shop suggested by my coworker. And it worked out great!! Robert was there to greet us and help us and he was VERY nice and knowledgeable. He took an extra step of having us lay down on different beds to see what we like and in the end, we are more than happy with what we got. I would much rather pay a little extra for his service than to go to a big company that doesn't care about your needs. You can really tell that they care for each and every customer. If you want a place that will care for your needs and concerns, I would suggest stopping by here first before you go to a big cooperation! Thank you Robert!! read more

I'm giving a 2 stars because our initial visit with the owner was awesome. We looked at other places and came back because he was down to earth and not high pressure. We got a floor model that he gave us a deal on. Expecting that the floor model would be "as is" and not returnable, I asked specifically when we came back later in the day. He said typically it would not be but it would have a 60 or 90 (I can't remember which) day exchange if it just wasn't working. We were sold on him and his personally owned business so we bought the floor model. We tested it out that night and unfortunately it was entirely too hard for us so we decided to pack it up and take it back the next day. I took it back alone as my boyfriend was working today but early this morning we decided to up grade and get a bigger size. Upon getting there, I saw it was not the owner, it was someone else. A tall guy with brown hair and a mustache. I didn't catch his name and he didn't offer. I immediately told him what had happened and asked if I should come back when the owner was there. He said no he would look at it and try to help. After assuring me that the floor models were no meant to come back and now it was used and not easy to sell along with several other guilt speeches I asked about the waterproof sheet. He said it wouldn't be able to be returned if opened. I said I understood and would sell it online or something. He asked about the mattress. I mentioned there was a dog in the home but it had not been on the mattress. We are in the process of moving and stay temporarily with family until we have our own place so the mattress was stood on its side specifically to keep the dog off. He asked if there was hair on it. I said I didn't know and said I didn't believe so and he was more than welcome to look at it in the plastic in the back of the truck. Somehow I ended up out there looking. I felt like I was pleading my case in something I shouldn't need to be. Not only was it annoying but it was insulting. I then listened to how there was blanket fuzz on it as well and more complaining. Finally I said he didn't have to take it as I was at my wits end. I have better things to do during a move than argue with some guy who was having "one of those days". In the end I traded for something else and ended up paying tax for it. Originally I was told they pay the tax. Not that it matters as technically I'm AN OREGON RESIDENT!!! I still ended up paying as I was told the price prior to paying the upgrade but he didn't mention it included tax. I saw once I was home. It's unfortunate for the owner honestly. We planned to buy another bed for a family member as well once officially moved but I would rather pay more money and not deal with this specific employee. If you want a good deal, purchase from the owner only. Sadly his employee lost him a customer. Very unfortunate as I'd rather support personally owned. I'll never pay hundreds and be treated like that again though. I was nice enough to help him load the upgraded mattress even though I'm pregnant. Wait no, I can't lie, I did it so I could get out of there and not hear him complain more. Your welcome. *very disappointed* I also noticed moisture in the box spring bag. Again, I noticed this once I was home but I saw another mattress sitting on the ground outside their delivery truck with the bag full of moisture when I drove around back to pick up the upgrade. read more

Sleep Bargains - Make sure your mattress doesn't have moisture in the bag. - Mattresses Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

So worth the drive from Portland! The store is super easy to find from I-5, and Shane is laid back and helpful. We called first with questions and he took the time to answer them all. He was very helpful. We lucked out and found this place while researching Easy Rest Mattresses and they carried the exact mattress that we wanted! The price was half of the sale price (50% off) of a big chain store we had originally went to in Portland. So we essentially paid 25% of the price. WOW. Their service cannot be beat AND we are getting our mattress delivered this weekend! We waited 2 months at the other place. read more

I met with Shane at Sleep Bargains after investigating them and other mattress stores on Yelp. The link to Sleep Bargain's website allowed me to compare prices and watch short videos that explained terms I found unfamiliar. During my visit to the store, I was able to share what my needs were and Shane directed me to the selections in my price range. After my purchase, I had questions and he called me back promptly. I wholeheartedly recommend this store for their selection, price, integrity and customer service. read more

Excellent customer service! I ordered a bed but was told it may be longer to deliver than originally planned. Over 6 weeks. Robert and Shane(?) worked to remedy the situation by loaning me an interim bed until mine comes in. It was too hard but they still went above and beyond to make it right and exchanged it for something better. Still don't have my preferred bed but am sleeping better in the mean time. Thank you! read more

Shane was great helping us out find the perfect new bed! And we sure did get a bargain!

My wife and I made a special trip to see Shane and it was worth it! Easy parking, nice store and amazing selection of mattress brands and models. Shane helped us find the perfect mattress and we got a great deal! He listened to our needs and answered all our questions. He was never pushy and made us feel like family. If you're local this is a must stop and worth the drive from Portland. Thanks Shane:) read more

Spent last driving around Portland to 5 different mattress stores looking for a nice mattress for my daughter that was in stock but no luck. Found Sleep Bargains on a Google search and saw they covered sales tax. Headed there first thing this morning and spoke with the owner Shane and told him what I was looking for and I really wanted something today. He took the time to explain to me the pros and cons of several of the mattresses he had and I wound up buying one he didn't even have on display based on his confidence it was what I was looking for and his trustworthiness. He made a few phone calls and had his wife pick up the mattress from the distributor so I could have the mattress today!! Was very pleased with the pricing and the very low pressure sales too. If you're in the market for a new mattress I'd definitely give this place a visit! read more

I have put this off far too long just for my own laziness. But, this store, and its owner Shane deserve the highest recommendations I can give. Last July we were shopping to replace our old Sleep Number with something else. I had in my mind a tempurpedic Breeze because the "cooling" aspect of this new breed of tempurpedic appealed to me. I had been to several of the high pressure mattress places in the area and in Portland, but always just felt one thing or other wasn't right and left with information, but no mattress. We live in the area of Sleep Bargains and had always thought 'oh it's more of the same' ... and kept going. I assure you IT IS NOT MORE OF THE SAME!! I am so thankful we decided to stop and just check out something local. We got the best NO PRESSURE sales from both Shane and Brett(?). Very, very knowledgeable. Answered questions and offered suggestions that were not geared to up selling or steering us to higher priced items, but to the best comfort for us as well as our budget. Delivery was set up and the team was quick and flawless. We love our adjustable base Tempurpedic Breeze-Luxe!!! My daughter just got a new place and needed a new box spring which Shane fixed her up with quickly and delivery was the next day, on time, and 5 minutes!! Please, before you settle for the usual Mattress big name stores, check out Shane at Sleep Bargains . I love the personal service, care and attention, not to mention a great price (less or comparable to big stores) we got at Sleep Bargains! Cannot thank Shane enough especially the after sale customer service when my husband accidentally activated the child lock system on the adjustable bed and we thought we broke it! One call to Shane and he solved the problem (which is rare), and a simple fix on the remote and we were all set again. Hahahaha I have since taken remote away from hubby. (Jk) A++++++++++ read more

Highly recommend Sleep Bargains for your next mattress and or bedframe purchase. I recently purchased a mattress and bed frame on 1/30/2019 from Sleep Bargains and it was the most enjoyable and worthwhile experience. The gentleman who assisted us is friendly easy-going and exhibits a no pressure sales environment. The delivery team was on time and also very pleasant and professional. Their prices are amazing and their customer service is top notch. I even received a hand written thank you card two weeks after my delivery. Very Nice Touch! That is definitely something you cannot put a price on. Thank you, Sleep Bargains! read more

Bought split King mattresses and adjustable bases from Shane a few years back and loved the bed, but had to sell it so I could move to a much smaller apartment after moving to TX. After it was gone I realized I didn't know for sure what the brand name was so I tracked Shane down and he was able to help me out even looking someone up from my area that might have my Corsicana Cool Reflections 9620. The guy at Bargain Mattresses in Denton, TX fixed me right up with a great price and free delivery. It's hard to find the right mattress and I really appreciate Shane for his help. Super nice guy! I love it when I find someone in sales that's not a greedy buffoon. read more

I love this place!!! We went here a few years ago and got a great deal on an awesome mattress set. We still have it and it's still in great shape! We wanted an adjustable bed and found it here! Shane was helpful, informative and his recommendations were right on the mark. I purchased a piece of bed furniture from a store in Portland, but it did not come with a need accessory. When I called the manufacture they said that I needed to purchase the accessory from a mattress store. I called around and many other places said they would look and call me back but they never did. The owner of this store called me back within 30 minutes and went above and beyond to make sure that I got the part I needed, even though they were not the store I purchased the initial piece of furniture from. Needless to say, I believe this is a 1st classes business, with 1st class owners, and I will be giving them my future business and hope you do to. read more
