15/10 service & one of the best bloody mary's that I have ever tasted. My server was insanely sweet and made sure that I felt at home. Prior to my flight, I had to bypass the pre flight jitters with this delicacy of a drink and I was blown away. There were a few people sitting inside, but it was clean and very nice for a terminal bar. Would definitely stop by again.

I had an early morning flight out of Hollywood Burbank Airport BUR (formerly Bob Hope Airport until 2017) for a work event, when I finally decided to try Guy's Highball Lounge. Normally, I wasn't a breakfast person nor an early eater, but I was down for a beer which then led to ordering breakfast. Guy Fieri's empire has stretched across the globe, so it made sense that airport terminals would be the next place to go. As of this review, there only appears to be two locations of this particular brand (the other in Puerto Vallarta International Airport). Would I experience some of Guy's flavortown at this lounge which served more than highballs!? PURCHASE Goose Island Beer Co. Goose IPA Beer 5.9% ABV 16floz Draft ($14.75): Bright amber color, hoppy aroma, light body, slight fruity hoppy flavor, smooth finish, and light hoppy aftertaste. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A basic tiny eatery with a decent-sized bar eating area and several communal high tables and chairs, in addition to a view into the kitchen. Stop by and grab a beer, cocktail or wine while you wait for your flight. The bar is located next to the restaurant so food items are also available, This is one of 2 shops in Terminal B that you can sit and enjoy your food and beverage. Barstool seating and a flatscreens. Usually there is 1 bartender on shift at a time, service time is fairly quick, even with a crowd. The price is on the high side but good customer service.
This is a good option in Burbank Airport if you want fresh burgers before your flight. The food is made quickly and has good quality ingredients. I tried the veggie burger because it was a Friday in Lent; I was surprised how good it was. I always prefer beef patties, but for the situation, I can recommend the veggie burger. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The ambience is okay, not many seating table options. But the bar is a good place to chill before your flight and charge your electronics.
A decent airport lounge to kill some time for boarding. It's very convenient if you have to wait at gate A5. Very friendly and efficient service. Plus my Prosecco that time was so delicious!
I've been to many airports across the nation and Burbank is by far the easiest and most convenient one bar none. When it comes to food and adult beverages, having the food being freshly cooked is always best when it can be observed from just over the counter. When it comes to Guy's Highball Lounge / Burger Joint, this place hits all my high notes that surpasses most airport eateries. The Highball Lounge has a great selection of high-end spirits. Not many (if any) airport bars will carry: Pappy Van Winkle, Wellers, Blanton's, MacCallan 18, JW Blue Label, and others. That vast array of choices alone sets this drinking well apart from all others. There are multiple HDTVs to satisfy any sports fan who wants to watch their team prior to their flight. There are charging stations under the bar to keep your phone battery ready for travel. Food can be ordered from the Burger Joint right next door. I've ordered many burgers/sandwiches from here over the years but I've recently created a custom order that fulfills my burger needs; food hack. Burger Joint Fries (loaded) with added burger patty and 2 sunny-side up eggs. This is the perfect barfood meal with protein and fried goodness; it will leave you well filled until you arrive to your travel destination. Are the prices here a little high? Of course they are; you're at an airport without many options to eat. But when you do order your meal/drink, you are well assured that the food will come out hot/fresh, well-seasoned, and the drinks will be poured just heavy enough to keep you in a spirited mood before your flight. And after all, isn't that the way we all want to start our trips?

We were in Hollywood Burbank Airport on our way to Phoenix. I hadn't had time for breakfast, so we were looking for someplace to grab a bite after security...and you know how that goes, expensive and so so food, usually. We ended up at Guy Burger Joint, aka Guy's High Ball Lounge. Don't be put off by the prices, they're pretty much airport normal....but the food is spectacular! My breakfast sandwich was huge, the egg, cheese, and bacon literally unable to be contained by the soft brioche bun. It came with a large portion of perfect Tater Tots. I couldn't eat it all. This meal could easily be split between 2 travelers. There are comfortable low tops and high tops for eating at. Plentiful and varied condiments are easily found around the bar and tables.

What a great experience. Drinks were awesome. La'Donte is a customer sat machine. Not only was he working the bar and the food place next but the tables. He's a one man machine. The airport was agitated today because of delays and this guy was a breath of fresh air. I'll come back here next time just for the great experience. I love his "quotes" for every new customer. High Ball Lounge & Guy's Burger Joint EST/Born 1968 Burbank Airport Bartender - Yvonne, she was great and making my drinks. It was perfect and recommended the best burgar to eat. She also cut me fresh peppers for my burgar. Yummy!!! Vodka Soda - Extra Lime Space Dust DIPA Prime Time Wagyu Burgar - two 1/4 parties, caramelized onion jam, smoked gouda, cheddar, crispy onions, aged Parmesan, pickles and donkey sauce on a Brioche bun. Come on, it's an airport lounge... what could be 5 stars about it? Service: the staff leading the counter is hella efficient and cares!! They know you are in a hurry so they make sure they get your order right. Food: the tender and fries were cooked to order quickly and perfectly. The fries have that awesome Cajun seasoning that make them crack-addictive. Ambiance: yeah, typical airport lounge but dang good seats for a drink! read more

Flight delays for me are a green light to hit the bar. Found one by the terminal towards the end and stayed there till last call around 8:30pm (the other bar that's near the front stays open longer). Great tasting cocktail, good conversation, plenty of screens with the games on, and a cup of water that I took to go to wait for my flight = satisfied. You can't really ask for more at an airport bar. read more

I am a "foodie" and I have never been to a Guy Fieri restaurant....just had a jalapeno margarita and a smash melt....excellent service, excellent food...and it was the best margarita I have ever had! Yay! Hats off to my bartender Marisol! read more

Lounge lizard till flight time. The server was excellent. On point. The drinks- expensive as per airport norm- $17 for 6 oz of Santa Margherita, $14 for a pint of beer (tax included). One definite downside was that the "grill side" of the bar, emitted such a powerful grease/onion smell, it made it hard to sit there for much longer. Not being able to take adult beverage out of bar area, and not wanting to leave my $14 beer (which was incredibly delicious btw) I muddled through but left the space with the stink in my clothes and hair. No brainer! Next time at the airport and you want something quick to eat, grab a sandwich or beverage at Guy's. Sub tasted like it was from an Italian deli at home, flavor town USA baby! They had a variety of things to eat and a bar for your favorite cocktail or suds. Very well done, I gave it a 5 start because what more do you want from a eatery at an airport especially one that is 50 feet from your gate, sweet! Beth. It's all Beth. I think it's safe to say I've not had better service at an airport restaurant in the USA. Period. I've eaten here several times but never felt much love. I felt this was a necessary evil to eat at Burbank Airport - until today. And this is during COVID (BTW they are taking very good precautions - I felt better waiting here to board (drink in hand) than at the gate). Keep in mind, this isn't a cheap place to eat and there's only one item that makes sense to take to go (BLT) and no salads. But if Beth is working, you'll feel better treated here than any other airport restaurant in the USA. read more
Waiting for our flight recently we decided to stop by Guy's Highball Lounge for a bite to eat. I ordered the egg sandwich with cheese and bacon which comes with tater tots, I should have opted for the ham instead, overall the sandwich was pretty good. The Mr. ordered the cheeseburger topped with mac n cheese, he loved it, raved about how juicy and flavorful it was. This is my second time to this particular location we will definitely be back. read more

Tucked away in Burbank's airport lounge you'll find a little gem which recently opened and happens to be Guy Fieri's latest restaurant venture. This delicious eatery has something for anytime of the day so skip the large watering hole on the way and head to this more exclusive destination. Just as you would expect nothing less from Guy, his menu has his personal touches all over it with of course a hint of rock 'n' roll! When I stumble in early mornings, this is the first place that I go to for a delicious breakfast sandwich on a beautiful buttered bun to soak up all of the last night's indiscretions. They have a full bar and some amazing margarita options! For day or evening times I always go for the chicken tenders as they are delightfully light and tasty, definitely not a frozen piece of meat out of a bag and just tossed in a fryer! What a wonderful home base to set the perfect vibe before heading out on the road again...! read more
