While there are always 2 sides to every story, I had witnesses and live video for the police report. The police Report is available for you to review! On 9/15/2021 I called Gutter King and requested a quote on some gutter replacements. 9/22/2021 I received a quote and agreed with their quote and scheduled an installation date. My installation date was to ne November 11/01/2021 through 11/05/2021. That install date came and went and a week later I received a call and was informed they were still another 2 weeks out. I made other installation arrangements with another local company and had the gutters installed after Gutter King failed to call or show up as scheduled. On November 29th, 3:30pm a guy walked up to the house as I returned home and was very sarcastic and degrading. He became combative and started yelling at me. I told him him to get off my property and he continued to walk up to me and push out his chest as to wanting to fight! He was parked very close to our RV Coach and I stood infant of the van and told him to "back up". The installation guy was angry and got out of his vn and aggressively confronted me wanting to fight, using words like "old man and since of sh*t" in my face. I called the owner and at that time The installation guy sped off assaulting me and hitting me with his company van. I told the owner "your guy just hit me with your van and drove off". I had to hang up and call 911. 911 Medics checked my shoulder, probably PT required. The installation guy was not wearing a mask. Very rude and no respect to the customers. Confrontational installation guy. Hit and run is never okay Owner DID NOT call or follow-up with me on situation. 911 medics and King County Police responded. Please reconsider using this company Poor EVERYTHING and this installer should not be a member of any company or team. Is this the best employee you can find, Chuck Elvig? Boo on your business. We recently replaced the gutters on our home and were referred to Gutter King by our roofing company. My wife wanted Copper guttering and Gutter King was able to come out and provide a reasonable estimate. There was some complexity to our job, where they had to work closely with the roofing company to coordinate. As with any job like this there were a few hiccups, but Chuck and his team were responsive and helped address any issues that came up in a reasonable amount of time. The gutters themselves are continuous, one piece, copper and are beautiful. I can recommend Gutter King and was very please with the service and the product. read more

They were flaky. Rescheduled and when they did arrive 3 weeks later they removed my gutters and then left. Never came back and never replaced the gutters. They left me in a terrible situation. Apparently they used to be reliable and credible, I'm told. But now they have become unreliable and cannot be trusted to complete your job. Stay away. read more

Chuck recently installed a 10' section of gutter and downspout on our house. It looks great. My sister had a question about the gutter installation after it was installed. Chuck responded in a very timely fashion and stopped by the house to see what the issue was. It end up being no issue. The installation was done properly and looks great. The installation of our 10' gutter section was not a major gutter installation project for Gutter King but we felt that Chuck treated our small gutter installation with the same professionalism as if it was a major project. My sister and I highly recommend Gutter King and we intend to use Gutter King for any of our future needs. Larry and Monica read more

had gutters cleaned in November. This was the first time any company used only leaf blowers and not water to clean our gutters and downspouts. a couple weeks later, it rained and we knew our downspouts had not been cleared. we called Gutter King back twice and did not hear back until 6 weeks later when they texted to say they would be at our home within 30 minutes. needless to say we were not able to get home in time to turn our water on with such short notice. We called Gutter King again and the person we talked with was very rude, saying his guys came back out and the water was not on. hw finally agreed to hve his guys come back out today (Saturday) because weather was warm. He texted and said they would be there at 3 pm. they never showed. They need to explain the no-show or they will definitely lose a potential repeat customer. read more

Very pleased. Replaced gutters on a 50 year old home. We opted for the VersaGuard covers being that our beautiful trees drop tons of seeds and debris all year, more so with the winds we've been having. Crew (Val & Daniel) were friendly, efficient, and conscious of safe covid protocols. Came in the afternoon and were done the next morning. A beautiful job. I'll be happy to recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Val even suggested a brush/pole idea to sweep the VersaGuard of those frequent seeds. This is gonna make my life a wee bit easier, thank you GutterKing! read more

Our rain gutters, in addition to looking terrible, were quite literally falling off the roof. My neighbor owns a house painting company and recommended Gutter King as the vendor he frequently works with and likes. He told me that they would be the cheapest and the best; a statement which has proven to be correct. The biggest hassle of the whole thing was the time it took for them to be available to install the gutters. I think with everyone working from home this year people have suddenly become aware of issues in their homes and want to get them resolved. This has resulted in a high demand for folks like general contractors. So the whole process ended up taking about 6 weeks from start to finish. That said, Gutter King was great. They gave me a quote, scheduled an install date, arrived on said date, and installed my new gutters in a matter of hours. Gutter King also handled the disposal of my old gutters and cleaned up after themselves. From there I received my final invoice, paid it, and was able to cross another project off my list. The gutters look great and were installed in a manner that will keep them attached to my home for years to come. Since these folks are the best they're very busy and in high demand, so be sure to account for that in your planning. You will, however, be very happy with the final product. read more

Gutter King are our Condominium Association's go to professionals when the needs arise for the various services Gutter King provide. Most recently the Gutter King crew were here to make adjustments on two gutter runs of which had leaks at the end cap areas. The office staff took excellent notes of what the needs were here from my explanation, which unit numbers had the issues, etc. The Gutter King crew arrived with the office prepared instructions and diagram and knew exactly what to do without hesitation. I was present for any more explanation but they knew what to do and they did it. No more leaks! Good to have professionals like Gutter King who live in the neighborhood nearby. Had the gutters replaced with the roof project in Feb, 2021, the roof contractor subcontracted the gutter job to gutter king. After the gutter replacement was done, I noticed that the inclination of the gutter is NOT correctly installed. the water is not flowing to the down sprout and the water is sitting in the gutter for about 3 quarters of an inch.... The roof contractor said that they forwarded my message to gutter king and they will come and adjust it. So far, no response for the scheduling. The correct inclination is the basis of gutter installation. how was this not checked during installation? read more

I would agree with Steve B below. We had our gutters replaced recently by Gutter King and everything went great. Very professional. They even sent a sheet of metal color samples so we could get the color exactly right (not trusting the computer screen color). We had 82 feet of mostly linear gutters replaced, not too complicated, not too sharp of a roof pitch. 1 story in front 2 story in back. They came one trip and removed the old gutters, waited a few weeks for the house to get repainted, and then we scheduled a return visit for installation. Removal took about 30 minutes. Installation took about 90 minutes. Maybe 2 hours. Quick, friendly, efficient. Nice neat job. Used stainless screws (contrary to another post here). Our downspouts work around the brickwork and have about 10 elbow joints. With the first big rain I noticed that 1 of the 10 or so union joints had a leak. I sent them an email and they responded within minutes saying they would schedule a crew to come out and fix it. 1. The estimate was the price we paid which was reasonable for replacement. 2. The crew was knowledgeable and efficient. 3. They arrived on time and finished on time. 4. We were billed by and paid by mail. 5. They seem to stand by their work. read more

I got gutter work done by them they come on time they do a good job and they're price was reasonable.

Gutter King has proven to be unqualified, careless, and unprofessional. Do not use them. I have given them 6 months before writing this review because new problems continue to appear. They left nails and screws all over the driveway during demo. They left gutters removed from the house with no protection from days of rain ( I had to go up on the roof and staple plastic sheeting to protect the walls from water damage), they installed two of the gutter ends without end caps! (the water was supposed to move to the downspouts by the honor system apparently), they installed the gutter angled inward toward the house so now any rain that hits the edge of the gutter rolls down and into my trim, they installed the downspouts too close to the house so they had re-cut holes and basically glue in the downspouts. These gutters will have a short lifespan I am sure. Disgusted in Seattle. read more

Short version One Star; overall frustrated experience. Non professional, wasted my time, and had poor communications to boot. Long version I reach out in September. Their office informs me it is the busy season, and they are booked 6 weeks out. Bummer, but I get it. Whatever, put me down and we can chat in 6 weeks... 6 weeks pass with no communication. I call them a couple days ahead of the scheduled day to confirm. " Yep, we are on." Day comes and goes so I call back to figure out WTF is going on. They say its another week until they can check the place out. Ugh Fine. See ya then. One week later: I get a text from a random number informing me that someone is coming! Could it be? Yes! Gutters, here we go! Guys comes out, actually gives me a decent quote. Says, "I dont have that color today but I will get out here on Monday" (it was Friday). Lo and behold Monday comes and goes and not a single phone call, email, or text... Enough is enough. Seriously is this how you do business? read more

I am a builder and built my own home three years ago. We had some custom commercial style gutters fabricated and Chuck and his partner installed them. I paid them almost 7k to do the job. The joint screws failed early on - they were undersized and very poor quality- the heads were popping off after one year. The hanger screws were also completely of the wrong type not even zinc coated(cheap) stainless or galvanised. I had communicated and was willing to pay to have them serviced by Chuck and his crew. After texting he just stopped responding. We reworked all the joints and screws- big job! Really wished it was done properly the first time!! I would never contact them to do any gutter work that is for sure! read more

Wow, I wish I could give them a better review...but I can't. Months ago we had Gutter King come to our apartment building to give us an estimate on our down spouts, Chuck showed up and was wonderful! I was thinking that all of our problems were going to be solved! I especially appreciated the cool business cards and Chuck's handsome work shirt. Their logo alone made me smile! After some back and forth on email between me, the property development company and Gutter King, we worked out the price and timing. Guess what happened next? They never showed up. Each week, I would either call or email them or both for a new target date and I was always put off "we'll get back to you" or I would hear NOTHING. I'm still waiting. It's been over 3 months. I don't think they are coming. read more

Gutter King Inc., recently did a job at my house on the 17th & 18th of August that was completely unprofessional. The original date they committed to doing the work was the week of July 17th-21st, so it took them a month of pushing me out each week to get to my job. When they finally got to our house their employees not only left without completing the job, but they also left gutter debris, stakes, screws, and cigarette butts all over my property, including my driveway and decks! They also spilled epoxy on the walkway in front of our home. In addition, Gutter King did not fulfill our contract and neglected to install the fascia and flashing. I spoke with the receptionist on August 18th to inform them of the mess and the fact that no flashing or fascia were installed, as per our agreed upon work order. On Monday August 21st, I received a call from the receptionist. They left a voicemail letting me know that they were aware of the situation and would be trying to send a crew out the week of August 21st - 25th. They said that the reason my fascia wasn't replaced was because their employees didn't deem it necessary, as it was their opinion that the wood was just "weathered". However, my wife was home, which the crew knew, and they didn't even reach out to her or myself to see what we wanted. As far as the flashing goes - apparently there was a "mistake" and it didn't make it onto the invoice for their crew. Even though, when I called them that Friday (8/18), they said that it was on the invoice in my file. The work wasn't completed until Thursday, September 14th - almost a full month after I let them know about the issues. When I requested a small discount for not only the amount of time I had to spend cleaning up the mess and screws covering my driveway, but also for the time delay, incomplete work, and overall lack of professionalism - they offered me less than a 5% discount. I found that to be insulting and requested at least a 10% discount, which was denied. read more

Very appreciative of Chuck and his team for doing this work for me. The gutter on one side of my house was damaged significantly by heavy snow/ice coming off my roof. I contacted 15 companies, and Gutter King was the only one able to replace the fascia style gutter I have (narrow, single bead). The job wasn't easy (I have a 3-story house, and the access wasn't ideal for doing the work), yet the cost was reasonable and the crew that did the work was professional, friendly, quick, and detail oriented. I would gladly work with them again (hopefully I don't need to any time soon) and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is considering there services. read more

I had them come out about six weeks ago. Unfortunately, I later noticed that one of the two gutter was still leaking. After I contacted them, they came back out and identified that one of the downspouts was installed wrong 10-15 years ago. Due to this, it was clogged. This was not noticed on the first inspection/repair job but they did fix the problem for me on the second visit. They were always very pleasant to deal with, but I did take them a little while come back out. Overall, I would work with them again. read more

After Gutter King removed our old gutters I noticed damage to the vinyl siding where my porch meets the side of the building. I spoke with the guys on site about it. Given the location it was probably damaged when our roof was replaced. Despite this Jake and Casey offered to repair it. They were pleasant, professional and hard workers. I highly recommend them. read more

We had a few companies come out to give us an estimate for our gutters. They all said our roof was too steep, along with the wood shingles, made it too difficult. Gutter King came through! Two words: Rafter tails. We have rafter tails on our 1920 Craftsman house along with the original cedar gutters. After 100 years of service, the cedar gutters leaked. It was hard to find companies who worked with rafter tails. Googled. Yelped. HomeAdvisored . Angieslisted. No search results for rafter tails and gutters combined. We called a ton of companies. All of them had a unified response: "cut off the rafter tails, put up fascia board, and a 5" K gutter (because that's the only thing we know how to and can do)" Chuck from Gutter King came out to do an estimate and immediately offered 4" K gutters to fit in the existing rafter tails. No cutting. Fit right in. Done. Even the workers knew the charm we were trying to preserve and mentioned it while working on the house. As a result, we have kept the charm of the house, we have new gutters, and are very happy. Rafter tails. Rafter tails. Rafter tails. We hope the next homeowner who has rafter tails on their Craftsman can find you a little more easily. read more

I wouldn't try to book this company. I got an estimate for gutter replacements on November 1, 2018. They were booked out until December 10, ok I will wait. Right before that scheduled appointment they emailed and said they were behind could they reschedule for January 7, 2019. Annoying but ok, fine. I hadn't heard anything from them so a couple days before I emailed to reconfirm - oh we're still behind we can do it January 14. I was out of town that week but was told I didn't need to be there for the work to be done. Great. Came home from vacation - no work done at all. Oh ok we'll come January 24 between 11-12pm. Nope, no show again. I contacted them and said forget it I'll find someone else, why would I want to give my money to such a flakey, unreliable company?? read more

The good: * The estimate to replace our gutters was reasonable * They were able to schedule the job within a couple weeks even with the holidays * The team they sent out was professional and helpful * The gutters are performing well so far The less good: * I wanted to be home when the estimator came, but was given nothing more specific than a two day timeframe when he might arrive. Even so, he came one day later than that. It was pure luck that my husband was home and able to talk with them. * I received a bill in the mail that said the full amount was due the same day the bill was post-marked - two days before we even received it. Less than a week later we received a second bill saying we were past due. Very pushy, and very poor customer service. read more

These guys installed gutters on my father's house. They used plain old drywall screws, common sense should dictate stainless screws or at the very least galvanized; I expect the gutters to be falling off in a few years...what a bunch of hacks...I was out of town at the time otherwise I would have told my father to refuse payment and or have them remedy the poor workmanship (I do remodeling/renovations) so I know what's up read more

We are a repeat customer and they came out to service our property. The initial treatment did not work so we contacted them to go out and check it. They said that they would go out and do another treatment since initial visit didn't take. Have been trying to schedule a time to have them come out and they are horrible at getting back to us. All we have been told is that we will be there in next few weeks and when asked for a more specific time frame, Diane was super nice and said that she notified the owner and told him to contact us but he won't or hasn't.
