Sweet tea chicken boxes and snack box
Angel G I.

Ordered through the drive through. We purchased 2 chicken box combos along with a snack box. First time eating here I have to say we weren't disappointed . A lot more food then we expected for sure. Good seasoning on the chicken as well as the sauce. Good sweet tea not overly sweet! Just right! Definitely will be going back. Definitely recommend this little spot!

May have started out in Alabama but the colonel better watch out because they're in bourbon country and their chickens finger licking good. New ranch is pretty good and the dining room looks like you could eat off the floor it's so spotless. They're chickens so good canes had to put a picture of a dog out side to lure you into the puppy cuteness on your way past them to guthries.

Very clean on the inside, simple design. You definitely come for the chicken fingers. They were super crispy, but moist and tender on the inside. The price is above a fast food chain, but their price definitely matches their quality. Their signature sauce is the same as the other main chicken establishments around-- but that's fine, because its delicious. The menu is simple - chicken fingers, fries, or a chicken sandwich. The price of their combos doesn't include a drink.

Food is good and sweet tea is great but they don't even fill the sauce cups up half way.

Schlotzsky's - Part of what I threw away. It was in a word - rank.

This must be an acquired taste. It wasn't for me. They had their grand opening and had $2.99…read moreoriginal sandwich. The bread is funky - tastes a bit like rye, but it's white (or wheat), the "sauce" is horrid, and the entire thing has kind of a dense quality that doesn't quite hit the mark. Again, probably an acquired taste, something some people like, but I suspect it's a select few. It's WORK to get through this thing, and you regret eating any of it finished, or in my case, given up and tossed the remainder you didn't eat. Thankfully, I wasn't a winner of a free sandwich every week for 52 weeks as part of the grand opening celebration. Nothing about this is a celebration. It is a shame really, because the surrounding area shows promise in development, you should pick another restaurant nearby if Schlotzky's is not your thing. Now I know why the one in Florence closed years ago.

Not wrong, but different than we are used to. Employees were kind. The time it took to prepare our food was reasonable, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Now the only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5: this location has Cinnabon. The counter appears to have Cinnabon items under a warmer but this was misleading. My churros were hard, stale, and cold. Based on the menu pictures, I expected it to come with icing dip. We left and I realized I did not receive icing. I should have went back in to complain about the taste but didn't. My husband got a cookie sandwich with icing in the middle. Assuming this was also a Cinnabon product, he said this was very good. Conclusion: I will definitely return for the sandwiches.

I always have a pleasant experience when I visit this Jersey Mike's location!…read more The staff is always very friendly and efficient; I don't think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes for my hot sub order, even during a lunch rush. And the dining area is always clean. My favorite menu item is definitely the 43 -- the chipotle cheesesteak. It is truly superb. I get it every time. It's miles above most of the cheesesteak sandwiches I've had at other comparable sandwich places. And I never have to modify the sandwich; it is perfect as it's listed on the menu. My boyfriend also orders the chipotle cheesesteak, and the fact that he doesn't have to modify it at all is a big deal for him (he's quite the picky eater). Although I have not tried their cold subs, Jersey Mike's is a great, cheap lunch option with many great choices. I will continue to visit this location, for sure!

I was the only customer in the store. My half complete order thrown in a bag. Not even a napkin. As soon as they tossed the bag on the counter, all 3 workers disappeared to the back of the shop. I had to yell into the kitchen "don't I get chips." They yelled back to just pick one from the shelf. Sandwich made sloppily also. So wet from vinegar I had to pitch it. Disgusting all around.

Dave's Hot Chicken

Dave's is my latest foray into the hot chicken craze sweeping the nation. I'll say up front, it…read morewasn't my favorite--but it still manages to do a number of things very right. Pros: - Generously sized chicken tenders. Two is a great meal with the sides. - Not too much batter! Just enough for a nice crispy coating that gives the seasoning something to hang onto. - A very cayenne-forward seasoning blend, and you could tell the cayenne was fresh. Remember your first taste of cacio e pepe and thinking, "Oh, THAT's what black pepper tastes like"? This is that but for cayenne. - A pretty good chocolate shake. I usually prefer it when shakes are made to order, and this one was dispensed right out of the machine while we paid, but it was a solid purchase and I didn't regret having it. Good chocolate flavor and thick texture. - Probably THE BEST crinkle cut fries on the planet. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, well-seasoned. I'd pit them against Shake Shack, Culver's or any other contenders on any day of the week. It's a crinkle fry worth eating. - A very good fry sauce. Now, the cons: Really, I just didn't care for the chicken seasoning. The medium tender was mild enough to be boring, mostly tasting of paprika with a La Croix amount of heat. The hot tender, while far more enjoyable and spicy, lacked the depth of flavor that I expect from a Nashville-style hot chicken. It had the heat, but not a lot to back it up. I have heard that Dave's can be inconsistent, and that the heat levels can be blah one day and melt your face off the next. So, I'd give it another go to see if it was just the seasoning blend that particular day or something. Or... maybe I'll just order fries.

The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the melty cheese was an amazing choice. My tenders had great flavor, though I do prefer a crispy exterior, and it was on the softer side. My son chose the tender sandwich-hot spice level & fries. He loved every bite. Of note: the Dave's sauce is a MUST try for those tenders! Great family friendly dining with friendly employees.
