They were entering under a side gate and we were hoping to get wood supplies to block their entrance. Of course, at Home Depot there is a large selection of wood beams which is a good thing from an option standpoint but not great of you're new to wood products. We asked a Home Depot employee if there was someone on his team that was an expert in wood and could give us advice. Unfortunately, that expert was not in at the time. A customer happen to be pushing a huge cart was walking by on his way to checkout and overheard us talking to the employee and said that he could help. We asked him if he knew anything about wood and he said he did. He proceeded to explain in great detail the differences in the wood we were considering and laid out the best options given our project. We joked that he knew so much about wood types, and we then found out he owned a deck and fence business. We were really impressed with Kevin.
