Fortunately, we got two other septic companies to look at the project. We have learned that the main line they scoped is NOT even part of the septic system and did not need to be scoped. So they charged us for unnecessary work. The company we hired to do some recommended work helped us navigate the county offices and saved us several thousand dollars. With the septic system completely backed up, we couldn't even run the dishwasher. To make matters worse, it was during a snowstorm and on a weekend. We called that morning, hoping someone might be able to help, and this company absolutely delivered. By 1 PM they already had a crew at our house servicing the septic tank.
