What we saw was a bit of a mess as a few rodents must have been down there in the past years as there was some fallen insulation and things looked messy. Decided it was time to get a professional to take a look. I had heard good things about this company through my office and decided to call and see what they could do for us. The person I spoke to was confident they could help me out but did state that if they observed any "active" rodents when inspecting we would need to get that taken care of first as it would do us no good to clean everything up and then have the rodents tear it apart again. Great advice and, lucky for us, all of the activity was from years ago and we did not have to go down that road! Melanie showed up promptly for the inspection at the time she stated. She took measurements, inspected under the house, and then let me know that she would have the quote to me that same day. As promised, the quote was to me within a few hours. The quote was also well within the range that I expected it to be and quite a bit less than the "big name" crawl space companies. The quote was very detailed. It showed the costs for complete removal of the vapor barrier, insulation, and any debris along with the full replacement with new vapor barrier and R30 insulation. The quote also included disposal and all clean up what was removed. We accepted the bid and we were promptly scheduled at their next opening which was about 10 days later. When the day came Melanie showed up to let us know what would be taking place and introduced us to Taylor and Gavin who would be doing the work. They got started quickly and continued to work with only short breaks as they wanted to get done in the time frame they had told us. Well, things were a bit more difficult due to the beam structure under our house and ended up taking and additional 1.5 days to get the whole job done. With that being said, they never complained, they kept working toward completion, and NEVER even mentioned that it may cost more due to to the additional time needed. They stuck to their bid, completed the job in a professional manner, and in the end the job is complete and we are very pleased with the company and their work. Thank you Taylor, Gavin, and Melanie!
