For an outlet? I've owned multiple homes and I never paid that much for a 240. Even Hunts didn't quote anywhere near that. Anyway, I'm a little bummed about it. Y'all do great work but I can't pay near double what others are charging for the same service.

We did hire them to complete the following work : replace and upgrade our 40-year-old electrical panel, add several outlets to the outside of our home, correct the GCFI outlets inside our home. While doing the work in our attic, they found mold high up on our roofline and snapped a photo for us-saving us from that mess on many levels. A crew of four qualified hard-working electricians were at our home for two full days. Following the work, the cleanup was impeccable. They left it better than they found it.. A bonus was that they made all the arrangements with Puget power, including a follow up inspection. We are CONFIDENT our home is electrically safe and sound. They were very detailed in their estimate, which was fairly priced. Did I mention how polite and patient they were with our many questions? We would hire them 100 times over for any future electrical work, but I think we're good now! The owners have high expectations of their employees and the work they do, and their work is guaranteed.

A bedroom smoke alarm battery died around 6 a.m, 10/24/23. The alarm kept chirping (nice word for…read morean annoying sound blast) every 5 minutes or so. I got my ladder (at 80 years old) and tried to insert a new 9V battery. I failed and dislodged the unit from its base. The sound blast continued every 5 seconds or so. At 8:05 a.m., reached Schumacher Electric and in less than half an hour, Randy was at my house and fixed the alarm. He even replaced a battery in another room smoke alarm. Schumacher Electric saved me from a nervous breakdown. I tried to pay them, but Randy wouldn't take it. God bless Schumacher Electric.

He contacted the maker of our new commercial hot water tank to get information as the new tank needed a larger breaker and wiring. Once he had the information, Schumacher Electric worked with their schedule to get us hooked up . JR came to our home, he was friendly, knowledgeable and answered our questions. Jr kept us informed of what was happening throughout the install. Chris Schumacher called us that evening to see how everything went and to inform us that a guard of some kind had to be placed over the breaker, and it was back ordered. As soon as they received the braker cover they scheduled a day for the install. JR came.at the designated time, was again very courteous, cleaned up his work area as he had done on his first visit to do the braker, and wiring install. At the last minute we asked for a light fixture to be installed in the area of the water tank, (no problem was the answer). They will be our #1 electricians for future work.

Only half the power was getting to the house. A call to the PUD and very prompt response (and at no cost to me) finally fixed the issue. The lesson? The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...
