I've never been to this beach, but now I am! The perfect place to spend a hot Florida day. There are clean bathrooms, a playground, free parking, showers, a lifeguard & clean restrooms. The turtles are nesting. Unfortunately there is a lot of smelly seaweed. Once we got past the piles of seaweed the water was warm, clean & delicious .

I took my Long Island family here for a few hours to enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze and beach. Even though the weather wasn't promising for the day and rain was in the forecast, we chanced having a nice day. It was wonderful regardless. The beach is clean and the parking is free. There are bathrooms but no food concessions. The biggest negative is that there is no handicap ramp. Because of that my husband can't join us on the beach. In this day and age, it's sad that this is not being changed.

What a great public beach in Boynton. It's so nice there. We watch the sunrise the other morning and have a glorious time.

My first time at this beach and I immediately thought afterwards, how come I have not known at this place sooner. Was I living under a rock? This is so close to home, it's small, quiet, clean, and amazing. Plenty of parking space at 9am on a Saturday morning. The walk from parking lot to beach was not far. There's a lifeguard right there close by. The water rinse off area was actually shooting out good pressure of water. Hate it when rinse areas at other beaches doesn't work or comes out with 3 droplets. I think this is now my go to beach area. Love it. We had an amazing time.

This is honestly the best hidden gem, and I am so happy someone told us about it! My boyfriend and I love going to the beach to relax and read our books. This spot is perfect and is very quiet, so we can enjoy ourselves without dealing with a lot of commotion. The best part is FREE PARKING! You definitely won't find that anywhere in Broward. We have been here a few times, and have noticed that it does get a little crowded later in the day. Your best bet would be to come in the morning to ensure you'll find a parking spot. We bring our chairs and lay out right by the water. There is a lifeguard on duty, so we feel safe if we decide to venture into the water. Walking from the parking lot to the beach, you follow the wooden path through trees. There are picnic tables and grills that are open to the public. At the end of the trail, going straight takes you to a kid's playground, and going right takes you to the beach. I love this place so much! You'll probably find me here at least every weekend if the weather is good!

This a beautiful 6.83 acre beach front park. Parking is free which is amazing since there isn't free beach parking to be found in Broward County. A boardwalk takes you from the parking lot to the base of a small hill. After a not steep climb you come to the top where there is a playground, a restroom, showers and picnic tables. There is also steps that take you past the lifeguard station and down to the 600 foot beach. It is a bit of a hike if you need to carry a bunch of things with you so I recommend traveling light. The park and beach are meticulously maintained. I didn't see so much as a speck of garbage anywhere. Close to shore are shallow reefs off shore for snorkeling. There is also a larger deeper reef 50 to 100 feet off shore that would require a dive flag. This park is an amazing find if you are looking for a relaxing beach day.

I stopped in here on the way home from West Palm Beach recently. I was impressed with how clean park was. There was an officer in a vehicle for security in the parking lot and plenty of life guards on the beach. The property was in pristine condition. I got as far as the life guard station, saw the water and a nearby siren went off indicating that lightning was imminent. The staff asked everyone to leave the beach area for 20 minutes. I was in a hurry to get home so I didn't wait. I will be back to discover more about this hidden gem of a beach.

This is a great little park and beach with free parking. There is a playground, restrooms, picnic tables, grills, beach, and a lifeguard station. It usually isn't crowded, and I almost hate to leave a review because I like it that way!

This is my favorite beach in palm beach county. The only con about this beach is that it sometimes can get crowded and be hard to find parking but when you do park and make the trek to the beach it's well worth it.

My new favorite beach spot in Boynton. Found it by chance during a visit earlier this year driving up the A1A from Delray and couldn't wait to return during my more recent visit to the area. Weekdays it is easy to get a parking space (woo hoo for free parking!). The grassy picnic area is well maintained and picturesque with two entrances to the beach via stairwells. There is a lifeguard on duty, very clean sand and water that was clear to the bottom. Basically like a Caribbean beach right there waiting for you. Can't ask for much more. Plus bathrooms and outdoor showers, so you can change clothes, clean up, etc. Love it!

Best public beach in town with plenty of parking. We also took our engagement pictures there during sunrise. They came out beautiful :)

Great beach! We always went to Deerfield beach and we love this one so much more. I would have given 5 stars, but parking lot is small.

What is left of it makes for cramped seating unless you are willing to walk, which we did, but had we been with our in-laws it would not have been that easy. Also the stairs and walking path seems as if they are falling apart. Need some remediation and a good paint job. Positives are still showers and restrooms. And easy metered parking right across the street. Very sad to see.

I get that someone needs to be here to open it but this was a disappointment. Once I did find a spot to park, it was a nice walk through the mangroves and along the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. I found a seat, probably trespassing from one of the communities but the chair was comfy. With my coffee in hand, I was here for over an hour as the Sun slowly came over the horizon. I was undisturbed. Other beachgoers walking back and forth but folks seemed to get my vibe and did not approach. There is a beached sailboat here since December. Maybe it's still here when you visit. It made for some fun photos. There is a bathroom facility and a beach shower and a picnic pavilion. Parking across the street requires feeding a meter. Don't forget that. The parking is limited and on what could be a busy road, but whenever I have gone on a weekday morning, the traffic is little, with plenty of spaces and plenty of time to make a u turn to get into a spot. It took forever for us to find parking, so we ended up doing valet near this beach. I was sunburnt from the day before so was on a quest to find an umbrella to rent. Thankfully, Oceanside rentals came in clutch with a $32 umbrella only all day rental. We liked this beach a lot because of the calm water. We also appreciated that there was less seaweed and calmer water than Boynton Beach's Ocean Front Beach Park. The surrounding green was gorgeous. Where we entered there was a giant pipe though that smelled a little like cigars, but we sat far enough away for it not too bother us too much. If you don't mind walking a bit for parking, this beach is a great pick.

On my recent visit, there were so many wood storks nesting!! I spotted babies peeking out of nests, along with adults perched on eggs. It felt like stepping into a real-life nature documentary. Beyond the storks, I also saw a marsh rabbit, anhingas, several types of ducks, and even a Great Blue Heron just casually doing its thing. What makes this spot even cooler is that the wetlands are man-made, but they've become a thriving ecosystem--proof that nature finds a way when given the chance. It's free to visit, and there's plenty of parking. Even when it looks full, just be patient--spots open up quickly with people coming and going.
