What a disappointment, because I truly liked Dr. Grassin!
Here's my story: After enduring both the physical and financial
pain of a root canal at Gulf Coast, the tooth developed an infection some three months later. I returned to Dr. Grassin who worked up a plan of action to repair the root and resolve the problem. When I attempted
to set up an appointment at the front desk to have the procedure done,
I was told rather curtly (we, considered as "old folks" are often spoken
to in that condescending manner), that I would be contacted after they've had an opportunity to connect with my insurance company - - in other words, DON'T CALL ME, WE'LL CALL YOU!
Returning home with my abscess, and a prescription for the medications that I would need AFTER surgery, I waited for a call, but to no avail. . . the call never came. To make a long story shorter, a month later, as the infection got worse and seemed to spread to the entire upper gum area, I found another clinic that for several thousand dollars conducted the surgery necessary to remove the impacted root, clean the infection and replace resulting bone loss.
So that's my story. I now have a new dentist who provides all the services I may need. What a shame that this could have been prevented by a little office efficiency and patient consideration. read more
