This used to be a great office years ago, but after management and most of the staff changed it is just a place that cares only about money not the patients. I was told I needed fillings done for micro cavities that were neither felt nor bothersome in any way (micro cavities do not require treatment I have since learned). I also went through 4 different hygienists in 2 years, the last 2 of which were absolutely terrible, frankly the worst I have ever experienced, and I like getting my teeth cleaned. They also didn't give me my records when I requested them just to discover thorough records were not being kept (violation of Dental Ass. regulations). Please do some research first before choosing a dentist. Beware of this place. read more

I would leave 0 stars if it was possible. Worst experience ever with a dentist. You go to a dentist when there's an issue. Everyone was wonderful straight from the beginning.. and in my book caring understanding and compassion goes long way. I wish I met them sooner!! I don't often leave 1 star reviews, but this was a major failure to care for a potential customer well. I see from other reviews that they seem to be good at their jobs, but I never got past the initial phone call. For the record, I was never asked if I was paying out of pocket or with insurance (nor any other questions). On 2/14 I called to ask about the price of an exam, X-rays, and a dental cleaning. The woman at the front desk told the price for the exam/xrays, but said that the cost of the cleaning was determined by what the dentist found upon the exam. I get it. Some people need 'basic' cleaning and some have especially dirty mouths and need 'super duper cleaning'. Whatever. Reason dictates that there is a price tag for each type of cleaning so that is what I then asked for. She said she couldn't say. I said, "Well, surely you have a range. I'm certain you don't have 50 different levels of cleaning so could you let me know the general idea of the low/high prices for clean teeth?" She continued to refuse even though there was no logic in it. I tried to reason with her. I said, "I'm just shopping right now and to make an informed decision, I really need to know the price of a cleaning before coming in and going through (and paying for) and exam. Do you realize that if I can't get that information, I will go elsewhere?" She then told me that it was office policy to not tell the price of the cleaning. Hmm. Well at that point, I was done. Pricing transparency is important to me. I wouldn't go get my oil changed or order a meal at a restaurant without first knowing the price and this is no different. I thought this was the dumbest policy I'd ever heard of and I relayed this story to my mom, sis, and aunt (we've got a fun little group text thing going on). My aunt is a therapist. And she told me that this office's refusal to provide what the government calls a 'good faith estimate' upon request is ILLEGAL. She sent me a lovely link to https://www.cms.gov/medical-bill-rights where I was able to educate myself on what all medical practices are made damn sure by the government that they know: they are required to provide an estimate of services - called a 'good faith estimate' - upon request. So I called back. I asked again for an estimate for a dental cleaning if I scheduled today. She told me they don't give prices over the phone. I asked, "How DO you give prices?" to which she said it would depend on what the doctor found, which is a) not answering that question and b) AFTER getting an exam that I'd have to pay for. I asked if she was aware of the "No Surprises Act" that went into effect Jan.1, 2022. She said, "Okay"... then crickets. I repeated the question and she said she was not aware (which I don't believe because... the GOVERNMENT).Whatever. I asked for the estimate again and she said she had to go talk to the doctor about it and would call back at a certain time. That time came and went and an hour and half later, I called them. I was told she was 'out' at the moment and couldn't talk. About 10 minutes later, I got the call. Not sure if it was the same person or not, but they acted oblivious to all that had previously transpired so I explained what I was wanting as well as the No Surprises Act. She said that it was only regarding "hospitals and insurance companies", which is absolutely false and I said as much and that if she were to go to CMS.gov she would read that service providers are required to give a 'good faith estimate' *before* the point of giving care. OHHHH NOW the lights go on and she said, "Yes of good faith" and FINALLY told me that their cleanings range between $65 and $200 depending on what the doctor finds upon exam. Good grief, why was that so hard, folks??? I will never go to this office for my service. If I can't trust people to be transparent about their pricing and follow government law to do so, I'm certainly not giving them access to me teeth. read more

Everyone is always so nice at Spring Hill Dental Associates from the ladies at reception desk to the hygienists and Dr. Ledger! The office is clean and has the latest technology. Dr. Ledger does amazing work and has excellent bedside manner. He's friendly and takes the time to do the job right. I've never felt rushed out of the office. I've been to his office for routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, and a partial and it is always a great experience. The wait is never long. As someone who has always been terrified of going to the dentist and has had bad dental experiences in the past, I can say that this office has done a really good job at easing my fears and making dental work a breeze. read more

Very unprofessional. They treated me like a criminal when I asked them to follow through with what they had told me they were going to do. They called me a liar even though I had paperwork with their procedure written out. I asked them to follow through and they wouldn't. They even had some of their nurses come and yell at me as well; all in the public eye! I will never go back there as I felt afraid with their service. I was even concerned that I would need to call the cops! Whatever you do, do not trust your care to this practice! 0 stars and a warning to stay away! I've been to 3 dentists over the years and I have to say Dr. Jason and his team are by far the best. Very down to earth people. The whole staff is great. It's hard to find a place of business where you see everyone happy and just friendly but they have it all. I felt zero pain from the needle or extraction just slight pressure towards the end. I love this Dr Ledger's office and I am PICKY. I started my career as a dental assistant so I am familiar with quality dental care. Everyone in the office is very organized and friendly. I have had a few fillings replaced and a crown replaced by the doctor. My old crown was over 10 years old and failing. My old crown also wasn't a great color match. Dr Ledger was very gentle and worked quickly. I am thrilled with my new crown. I smiled for my husband and asked how he liked my new crown--he asked which tooth was the crown!!! My idea of perfect dental work is no one can tell that it isn't my real tooth! The hygienist's also do a great job and put a lot of effort in to cleaning. I had my teeth cleaned today and had some staining on my front teeth from drinking several glasses of tea each day. My teeth were stain free after my cleaning. read more

This office is so efficient and technology technological up to date. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful and they are always willing to go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. My hygienist uses numbing medicine on my gums to make sure that I am not sensitive during my cleanings. The new doctor is great, he even called me personally to say hello when I was not able to meet him when I was in the office. If that isn't dedication then I don't know what is. I was a little apprehensive bc I had been going to this office for 5 years and it has just changed ownership. My dental hygienist of 5 years was also gone. My new hygienist Michele was very nice. I have sensitive teeth but she was very gentle. She also did a great job with the xrays. I didn't gag once! The doctor came in, introduced himself and was very nice. The experience is wonderful until they go to bill. I was a long-time customer for this office and have been going since high school (a full decade). Before showing up to this dental office, I had asked if they accepted Delta Dental's rates and insurance, and they had told me yes they accept it. When I came to the office, everything was fun and pleasant with the dentist as well as the staff. Cleaning was performed like any other office. Then when bill time came, they dropped a $1.1k bill on me and told me that the difference is what I have to pay and is non-negotiable. They would never let me speak to the dentist about this claiming he was very busy despite calling the past few days. Considering between my wife and myself we had 2 cleanings (which they conveniently labeled as "posterior scalings" which puts more in their pocket), 2 fillings (white), and 2 full x-rays, I don't see how, even with Delta paying $500, this procedure costs nearly $600 out of my pocket from myself and my wife. Regardless of what I said, the biller would not let me speak to the dentist despite my obvious anger. I had family members that dissuaded me from visiting (Doug and Karen, my parents) as well as friends (Stan D.) that have had this very same problem with this office. My recommendation to anyone who wants to see a dentist is to go anywhere else and do not take anything they say as their final word. I cannot believe how disrespectful they were about the bill and did not work with me on negotiating it even slightly down despite the pandemic going on. It does not surprise me that this office is filled with 5 star reviews with surprisingly a person so happy that they left just this 1 review for this location. Avoid at all costs and do NOT trust anything they tell you upfront. I will never be back after how they treated myself, family members, and friends - also, side note, they basically don't take anyone's insurance because my family has had different insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield of FL and Aetna to name 2 which are major insurance carriers) knowing they can get more money out of your pocket. Very disgusted with this practice and will not recommend to any friends or family ever again. read more

The staff is so friendly! This was my first visit here and loved it! How many people can say that about the dentist?

Nancy that cleans my teeth, is simply wonderful. She always ask if anything has changed or problems. She is careful and always ask if you are ok. She really does a great job, my teeth always feel so good after my appointment. Not this appointment, but when I had to have a top front tooth repaired, Dr Ed Adgustyniak did such a good job, no can tell I even had did done. As far as the office staff, I wish I knew all their names, but they are always so helpful and polite, no matter what. All in all just a great practice! read more
