Stay away!! I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. I went in for a routine cleaning that should have been covered by insurance, but was pressured into a "deep cleaning" instead. I paid $317 out of pocket for a procedure that lasted under 30 minutes and didn't feel thorough--I could still feel tartar afterward. I've had regular cleanings elsewhere that were much better. Also, the hygienist kept saying that she has another patient and that she needs to be rushed and can't take her time. It felt like they were more focused on upselling than providing quality care. When I raised my concerns, the front desk told me they didn't want to see me as a patient anymore, instead of addressing the issue. I would be cautious about agreeing to additional procedures or charges here. read more

I agree with the previous comments. My insurance covers 100% of a standard cleaning and they wanted to charge me $52 even though they are supposed to be in my PPO network and should have contract pricing. Also they insisted I needed a deep cleaning which cost a fortune. I spent an hour and half in that place getting my initial exam only to find out they just want to take you for every cent they can. if you can go anywhere else, please don't go here. Their office does not have their stuff together. They're billing has no clue either. They try to charge you for upgrades that are not covered by insurance and put you on the spot to pay more as soon as you get there just to squeeze a few extra dollars out of you which is a disgusting practice. Don't go there, especially if you're not rich and you can't afford to pay for a bunch of implants or crowns, it's a complete waste of time. They wanted to charge me nearly $200 for a cleaning that should've been covered by my dental insurance and wanted to charge my husband an additional $50 for an appointment that was canceled. This is a horrible place but at least the doctor is I went in there for a chip tooth that happened last night and she won't fix it till I get other work done that cost $4,000 what was she to tell me to get other work done I'm only on disability I try to keep up with my teeth I don't have $4,000 my other teeth are fine I'm in no pain I need the chip to fix it's right in the front and she refused to fix it until I do what she wants to do and spend another $4,000 I left the office crying I have never experienced that in my life read more

WORST dental office in Hernando County!!! I reiterate every experience that others have stated. Faulty billing, unnecessary work done to teeth. Deep cleaning on demand without consultation. The Final straw was showing up for an appointment and asked to fill out a medical form. Then told AFTER PRE-MEDICATING that they can't work on me without clearance from my cardiologist. REALLY? Then went back for routine cleaning to be informed that I need to pay $50.00 for cleaning when I have fully insurance coverage for cleanings. They supposed fixed a "dark spot" in my tooth which is exactly as it was before they started. This office screams INCOMPETENCE! Don't go to this office! I had the same horrible experience with this dental practice as the other yelp review. I asked to just receive my covered dental cleaning instead of the deep clean, as I just paid over $500 during the visit. That topped with the cost of my daughter was getting married, Christmas coming up and my home taxes due; I was tapped out financially. I just wanted to delay the deep clean to early in the new year. Josh coldly stated that I had two choices; to follow the treatment plan, or find another dentist. This treatment, after being a patient for two years was shocking! I then showed up for my following appointment to complete the procedure for which I had already paid and found out that Josh took it upon himself to wipe me off the books and delete my appointment. I asked for a refund so that I could go elsewhere and he would only agree to a partial refund. After two weeks, I still have not received the partial refund. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS GREEDY PRACTICE!!! read more

The staff all know me by name, the Doc always spends a few minutes chatting with me and catching up, and I never feel like a stranger. Dr. Barry Weber has taken care of our family's teeth for 24 years. He has top credentials, a passion for dentistry and for the health of his patients. He is compassionate, caring, and he has an incredible amount of experience. He is one of the best dentists I have ever been to...that is why our family has been with his office for so long! He is excellent with children and teens. He takes the time to get to know his patients and he is always friendly. His staff is also exceptional they work hard to accommodate my daughters college schedule and my husband's very limited schedule. They explain any procedures that are needed and make you feel confident about anything that needs to be done. My husband and I went to this dentist Feb 19. We printed out our insurance forms and specifically pointed out the service we wanted, which was cleaning only. All the services we pointed out were free according to our insurance plan - xrays and cleaning (small fee). We were called back separately and xrays were made and sent to a room. Xrays were done again and then the tech came and checked out teeth. We were given a price sheet of the charges to correct our problems. No cleaning was done or mentioned only told to make an appt. When we started to leave we were told a charge of $69 each was due. We were NOT told there would be a fee of any kind - referring back to our insurance paperwork. They should have told us UPfront our insurance did not cover a specific type of xray Florida requires, according to the dentist panoramic xrays are not covered. We would have left immediately and not seen anyone if we had been told. I thought it was my legal and ethical right to understand any and all dental procedures and to either accept or refuse treatment. There is NO Florida law requiring panoramic xrays - ONLY a dentist law to get money out of you! Don't be caught up in their scam. read more
