While living in Fayetteville, Guidos was our go to pizza place. I left Fayetteville for Texas a little over four years ago. I am currently dealing with a disease for the past nine months and just received news I didn't want to hear. My realtor was in Springdale recently and asked me if I wanted anything. I told her I'd love a Cousin Vinny's pizza from Guidos. She went to Guidos and told them my story. Not only did they comp her the full large pizza, they wrapped it in foil, froze it on their baking pizza pan, and had it ready to go for me. I just finished all that I could eat and couldn't be happier. Not only did I get the best pizza in Arkansas, I got the sweetest note from all the employees offering their support in prayer. What an incredible kind gesture from an incredible pizza shop. I'm so thankful that places of this type of service still exist. Do yourself a favor and go to Guidos!! Guido's has been one of the most consistent restaurants throughout my life. I have so many fond memories of eating here with my family. The service is never bad, and the inside is very open with a beautiful mural. As for the pizza, I would say it stacks up against the best locally. I always get a variant of Canadian bacon because I like how the shred it rather then the slices. What you're looking at is Canadian bacon, pineapple, and jalapeños -- delicious! For many, many years, this has been my favorite pizza store. I used to live within a mile of it, but am now 45 minutes away. I try to get it when I'm down in the area. 95% of the time, I take it to go. The other day, I called in a sit-down pizza and took the leftovers with me. Staff was super nice. Place was very family friendly for kids. Quality of pizza was a bust though. The crust completely lacked flavor and was under developed. It almost tasted like it didn't have any yeast at all.. imagine a pizza on a pie crust ... toppings were heavily applied which i is cool, but almost so much that it made it hard to serve had to recut it to serve. Worst run business I may have ever seen! Please sell out to your family members at Guido's in Tontitown or your family members at Bariolas in Rogers... same recipes but much better food quality, service and management style!!!! I live 1 minute from this restaurant and alot of time drive to the other for reasons like tonight, but again 1 minute very convenient. Problem is you never know what you're going to get how they're going to act or if they are going to be open. Supposedly they close at 9 o'clock, I called tonight at 8:15. They would not take my to go order of a large pizza and a salad Because they were closing at eight thirty tonight. If you won't take that to go order at 8:15 you are closed! Ordered Guidos for take-out on a Friday afternoon. Since it was in the interim between lunch & dinner, I was told my order would be ready in 20 min. Ordered a large Uncle Tanoose (pepperoni, hamburger, onion, green pepper & mushroom.) The toppings were plentiful and the crust was crispy & not too thick. Rather than having a slice of pizza with half of it crust & half toppings, Guido's puts all the good stuff to the edge like I like it. Also ordered a small "super salad" which comes with Canadian bacon (chopped), mushrooms (canned), olives, mozzarella & shredded iceberg lettuce). Some people don't like these type of salads (like US Pizza), but while I also like fancier salads, I love this kind on the side of my pizza. Everyone I came into contact with (on the phone, cashier) was extremely friendly...like, "is this enough dressing? Would you like Parmesan? Are 4 enough?" People are picky about their pizza. Very very nice people!!! Felt very homey!!! I had a Canadian bacon salad to start. Nice taste, lots of Canadian bacon, and cheese!!! Pizza was full of taste! Canadian bacon, pepperoni, and mushroom. Like I said full of flavor. Here's my issue...the Canadian bacon was minced and not much sauce. I would have liked more sauce and my Canadian bacon whole, but I know this is a personal taste preference. The crust was just OK. Good pizza, but I'll know better next time to ask specifically for my preferences. The people serving me were awesome!!! I know you Arkansas folk get spoiled by your selection of really solid places to get pizza, but this place is one that I always go whenever I come to town...they a rent shy about selling you a meatloaf, and calling it a pizza. I'm not kidding, they ain't shy on the toppings. It is the perfect leftover pizza too. Since it has so many toppings, when you wake up the next day and have cold leftover pizza, this one tastes like a bunch of sausage, and ham, and stuff...its perfect. Have I had better pizza? This is the best pizza place in the NWA area hands down. They have 3 locations and each place is the same food. When you come here you have to get the super salad,so fresh. My family and I frequent this place often. My daughter loves the large shrimp salad. It is HUGE! It is big enough for her to have as an entree and 2 others to have as a side salad. It is lettuce, lots of cheese, lots of shrimp and 2 tomato wedges. The pizza is awesome! They do not skimp on the toppings. My only complaint is that it is not super saucy. But that is my preference. Went to Guido's for lunch. Note: We did not order a pizza due to the wait time. First off, very limited menu. Sign say's pizza, pasta, subs. They had a variety of pizza, they only had one pasta (spaghetti), and did not have any subs. Second, horrible Food!.....chicken sandwich was a few pieces of chicken on white wonder bread (at least it was toasted). Salad had hardly any toppings and was bland. Going to this place was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. I would rather have taken a moldy piece of bread out of a homeless man's bag and bled on it, and it would've made a better pizza. The only good thing about this place was the crackers that were on the table and they weren't even salty. The pizza sauce tasted like it was mixed with water. The pizza should've been labeled "nasty ass onion bread" because that's what it tasted like. The soda was bland and tasted like carbonated water. I should've just eaten leftovers out of the trash.
