I apologized and explained that I had never been there before and couldn't see what they were doing behind the massive counter. When it was actually time for toppings, I took maybe ten seconds to look at the options and decide what I wanted. That seemed to be enough time for the second worker to become visibly irritated with me. I then asked whether the sandwich comes warmed or if I needed to request that, and that's when her attitude completely changed. She refused to answer me, rolled her eyes, and started talking negatively about me to the first worker while I was standing right there. I apologized again and explained that I had never been there before and simply wasn't familiar with their process. I don't think asking how the sandwich is prepared is an unreasonable question, especially as a first-time customer. I also found it very unprofessional that the worker was making food while wearing sunglasses. To make matters worse, when I got to the cashier, the second worker proceeded to call me names over something as simple as asking whether my sandwich came warmed. The food itself was actually pretty good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. I would have gladly returned, but the way I was treated by the staff completely ruined the experience. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed or disrespected simply for being unfamiliar with a restaurant's process.
