From my initial telephone contact with Karey and our video walk through with Jon I was very impressed. Likewise, I was very pleased with the initial cost estimate that was provided to us. We did our due diligence and obtained two other estimates, both higher than the one from Prince. In fact, one was twice as high. We were a bit concerned about the great disparity. However, having been impressed with Karey and Jon and reading about the fundamental principles of their business we elected to go with Prince. I cannot say enough about the crew that handled our move. They called ahead of time to advise they were on the way - and on time ! Carlo, the team leader, was polite, responsive to our requests, flexible to add on a few things we needed to move, and his supervision of the other three members of the crew : Omar, Jeff and Mario. The care that the entire crew gave to our furniture, including some large, heavy wood pieces with glass shelves and doors, was extraordinary. The move was handled efficiently, effectively and expeditiously. Nothing was damaged ! The crew was great in moving things around to get them in the correct location. We were very pleased ! I must point out that this move was so well handled from initial contact to the crew departing our new home And it was accomplished UNDER BUDGET !! Kudos to the entire Prince team. We are grateful. I won't name names of other movers I've used and paid 30% more for less results. I have a 15 monitor work station that I am very hesitant about anyone touching let alone moving, but these guys handled it like a breeze, especially during a rainy day on top of everything else. In the past year, our rate has gone up three times and an additional time if you count them adding a fee for online payments. Even though their rental agreement states they need to provide written notice of policy changes at least 30 days in advance, they added the online fee and 30 days later sent out a notice. I don't think that's the intent. Want to avoid this and pay in the office? Nope, they closed the front office too. Their idea of climate controlled units is turn the thermostat off or set it so the inside temperature is acceptable at 85 degrees. Need help on-site? Good luck, there isn't anyone there anytime I go. When the office was open, they were always on a lunch break regardless of when you needed them during the day.

I popped into Postal Masters (under semi recent new ownership) a few doors down where the owner, Omar handled sending out my package quickly and efficiently way faster service then the post office would have been. My package shipping fee ended up being cheaper using FED EX ground then Priority mail an added bonus using Postal Masters to have an option. I have now also dropped off return packages a few times way easier and faster taking them to one place for all shipping needs.

First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .

I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.

But given the level of service, the quality of the team, his competitive price is just icing on the cake. Gustavo dropps off packing supplies to your home - what service does that?!!! And you should consider that into the cost of moving. I also paid his team to come back my valuables - kitchen, breakables, mirrors, paintings. The price he charged was so reasonable and worth every penny. I know my stuff is well protected. His packing team arrived the day prior to my move and worked efficiently. They know packing! Come moving day, his on-the-ground team was absolutely incredible. They were courteous and concerned about making sure things were wrapped and stored to my liking. I had some very expensive furniture that they worked hard to make sure it was secured properly so it wouldn't break during transport or once in storage. They're very hard workers, and even when we had some down time waiting, they offered to load up my car for me! And Gustavo checks in frequently to make sure you're happy as well. He came to the rescue when we needed a special tool to take apart my bed. I also used them for storage. If you're looking for long-term storage, definitely talk to them about their options as they can make them very competitive with public storage facilities and you can lock-in pricing. Plus, their insurance covers way more than what you get with external storage facilities. Moving is stressful. There's just no way around it.
