Food was great. Server was extremely helpful. Ambiance was very pleasant. Everyone enjoyed their experiences tremendously.

We really enjoyed our meal here! We started with delicious guac and complimentary chips. Strong, tasty classic margaritas too. A pitcher is definitely the way to go if you have more than two people drinking. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get, especially with the combo platters which allow you to mix different Mexican favorites and enjoy yummy beans and rice on the side. For our crew, these plates were shareable. Spicy camarones were a favorite at our table, but are quite spicy. I tasted the sauce and while delish, packed a nice kick! Looking to go just a hair lighter without the carb sides, the tacos are the way to go. Three to an order, but stuffed, and guac is included! Again, these were splittable with our gang. Best way to try a bunch of things! Blackened shrimp were ordered and they even made the veg-heads at the table some veggie tacos and some veggie sans dairy, neither weren't listed on the menu. Don't hesitate to ask if you don't see something, they obliged no issue. Kids order is one taco plus sides which was the perfect amount for my littles. The seafood was fresh and given generously. If you're a fan of seafood, it seemed as though that's what you should order here as everyone was. They even had a shrimp salsa which had huge chunks of shrimp you could order to go with those chips as an app. A rather large carnitas burrito was also enjoyed by our table. I must say this wasn't as obnoxiously sized as I have seen elsewhere, rather a hearty portion for one reeeeeally hungry person, which he was. More meat than rice inside too. It was served floating in a cream sauce with chunks of fresh diced tomatoes ontop. Service was a tad slow on a weekend night, but was absolutely friendly. We didn't mind so much with our chip and drinks anyhow. Don't let the location in a strip mall fool you, it's warm and inviting inside. Take a peek at the goodies to go by the front door! This is my parents favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Jupiter and I would have to agree it was pretty solid. Nothing really outrageous, just good standard semi- Americanized Mexican. We ate at Guacamole this week. So disappointing! We have eaten here a few times before while on vacation in Jupiter and looked forward to our return. The chips and guacamole were good, and they were the only thing we enjoyed. The combinacion Tampiqueña came with the worst carne asada and tasteless enchiladas. Truly disappointing. My wife's fajitas left her wishing she had just ordered more chips. I hope it was just a bad night for them, but we will not go back. read more

We came across this restaurant from Yelp and we had high hopes for this place as it had four stars. We should've walked out after we sat down as the pungent smell of bleach permeated the air and seats. But we decided to give it a try because of the high reviews. We started out with the happy hour two-for-one margaritas. As I asked the waiter if it contained any tequila he was not sure but since there was no full bar we assumed it was just a mix since they only served beer wine and sangria. We then moved on to the first course which was the mixed ceviche containing shrimp and chewy octopus with no flavor, barely any lime and marginally edible. For our main courses I chose the two tacos with a quesadilla. Again the server did not know the different types of meats when asked. You had the option to choose meat or vegetarian and I chose the steak taco, Carnitas taco and vegetarian quesadilla. The steak tasted cheap, the shredded pork no flavor and the vegetarian quesadilla was just cheese which I presume would qualify as just a cheese quesadilla. I asked where my vegetables were and they said they don't carry vegetables here but they could throw some onions and peppers into the quesadilla. It came back with fajita onions and peppers with guacamole stuffed into the quesadilla making it even more soggy. My husband ordered the steak, shrimp, chicken entrée. He described it as over seasoned meat and fish with extra salt. Both entrées were served with rice and beans which was nothing to write home about. We were excited to try the tres leche cake buy opted not too because given our experience thus far we thought best not too. On top of it all the servers didn't know what they were serving, poorly trained and lacking service skills. From the outside, this restaurant does not scream a 5 star ambiance. Food wise, this place is amazingly authentic, and unbeatable value ($6 for 2 margaritas/sangria/beer/wine, $5 appetizers, $2-3 Tacos) during happy hour. Very disappointed, will not dine there again. Very sneaky and deceiving. For the past 20 years dining in Mexican restaurants, this one was the only one where you do not get salsa and chips as you sit. They charge $5.99 for this but they don't tell you that up front, you just find out on the bill when you are about to pay. Next thing was the amount of food. Rice and beans come in a very small square bowl, 90% filled with rice and beans just about 2 table spoons. My husband ordered a meal for which they said that it is a skirt steak, but he didn't get that kind of meat. I ordered chicken fajita for which we all know comes in a cast iron serving dish. Here they placed it on a regular plate all together with lettuce and tomatoes. ONLY lettuce and tomatoes; NOOO guacamole, salsa, and sour cream!!!! Fajitas usually come as a very big meal and I always have a left over, but here I was able to eat it all. The seasonings and taste was ok otherwise. Tried this place out tonight for Cinco De Mayo and had a great time. While the wait took a bit, the carafe of margaritas, and chips and guac from the bar made it more than tolerable! We were bemoaning the fact that how the hell we can live in south Florida and can't find a good Cuban restaurant, or for that matter a good Mexican restaurant either. Then the lovely Mrs. remembered Guacamole. Side note: Rancho Chico the nearest Mexican restaurant to us we find absolutely disgusting. Guacamole is kind of hidden away, but actually really easy to find. Dos Equis Amber all around (served in the bottle) while we checked out the menu. We started with the Nachos Machos available with beef or chicken. This was not a pile of chips glued together with melted "cheese food", but a huge serving of fresh ingredients along with beef; pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and fresh made chips. This was large enough for the three of us and would make a meal for a nachos lover. Ordered a taco which replicated the authentic style that I've learned about from a "real" Mexican food truck. At about $1.50 I got just what I expected, a small fresh tortilla bursting with flavor. Just the right touch of each ingredient. It would take 3 or 4 to make a meal but really good and unlike the pretend tacos available elsewhere. Finished with a Chiles Rellenos offered with traditional cheese, beef or chicken. I got the beef which was my mistake as everything I had that night included beef, it was good but I missed the texture of the pepper with the smooth cheese filling. Beef by the way is only shredded, no glorified seasoned hamburger here. Mexican is not high on my list when I want "ethnic" food, but Guacamole is really very good and unlike so many Mexican places is truly authentic. Having lived in Jupiter for a year, I was unaware of any Mexican restaurants at the time, much less any good restaurants in the area, but when coming to Riverbend Park and searching for nearby restaurants, Guacamole came up on my Yelp app and it was well-received, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. Though from the outside it doesn't look like much, inside, the decor was very colorful and welcoming, including the dishes themselves. The waiters are all Mexican, and it seems to be family-owned (they're all Mexican too), as evidenced by the young kid welcoming people and serving as host. The menu is somewhat large, containing many known Mexican dishes, and some unknown. All the standard Mexican fare can be found here. The food was reasonably priced, especially their combos, and the drinks were huge, with free refills. Unlike most Mexican restaurants that offer complimentary chips and salsa, this restaurant does not, and if you want chips and salsa, it will set you back a good $5. For this reason, I deducted one star. I ordered an unknown dish for me, called the Combinacion Tampiquena, which featured green enchiladas and steak. The steak was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The enchiladas were also very flavorful, and the hot sauce at the table was actually hot. The food reminded me of the type of restaurant you'd find in Homestead, very much homey with homemade food. It was also filling, so it was a good value. Service was relatively attentive, given how busy they were. My friend also enjoyed his meal. Who knew Jupiter would have such delightful Mexican restaurants? read more

This restaurant gets such rave reviews I was so excited to try it. This is supposed to be the most authentic Mexican restaurant W of 95 yet the food we received was dry and lack luster. We ordered the chicken burrito and chicken tacos and both were very dry and lacking any flavor. The saving grace was the guacamole which had fresh ingredients. The queso was also very good. The food here is good. Nothing outstanding but it's good. Their guacamole is fresh and flavorful. The chips were thicker than what I prefer. I like myself more of a thinner chip. They have vegetarian burritos and chimichanga . You can make it began by requesting no cheese or sour cream . I ended up getting the vegetarian burrito. I was satisfied with it. They put a lot of cilantro in it which I love. It could have used some grilled veggies or some refried beans. It was basically just rice, pico de gallo , lettuce, guacamole and cheese. The service could be improved upon. It was slow and I felt like our waiter was being inconvenienced by us even though we just wanted basic things like ordering our food and getting the bill . Like many other restaurants in the area, Guacamole is in a random strip mall. It's a mile or so down from the Turnpike on Indiantown. We met friends there who are regulars so they were already starting on the nachos with chicken. Let me tell you, the star of the show is these super delicious freshly fried tortilla chips. We enjoyed them with the nachos and the white cheese dip with chorizo. For sure, I'd come back just for this portion of the meal. They also have happy hour until 6:30. Beer, wine and margaritas are on special 2 for $6. That's always a plus around here. The husband and I split the steak tampiquena and enchiladas special. The meat was very tender but only came with a few onions, my favorite part. The enchiladas cane with green sauce and were topped with a salad. It was also just ok but a good game at $13.95. The rice and beans were smoky but not refried. I'm still on the search for my favorite beans in the area. Our server was very attentive. This a hidden gem and we will return. read more

Two of us used Yelp to locate this Mexican restaurant while attending Spring Training 24 March. To our surprise, the restaurant was a bit "out of the way", located on the way to Okeechobee. It did not disappoint though. The service was outstanding, and the food was authentic. Except for us, all patrons appeared to be locals, about 50% Caucasian and 50% Hispanic. I typically use the latter statistic as a gauge. If the locals AND Hispanics patronize a Mexican restaurant, it's usually great. Easily four stars for me. The tamales being over cooked and lacking some flavor kept them from five. Definitely not a three though. The tacos had seasoned shredded beef, very tasty.
