As great as that was, i should have done more estimates as they charged way more than it should have been. Word of advice, get a toilet through a store, then have them install it for cheaper. Anyhow a different tech came to put the new toilet in. He was nice and did a good job. However, should have checked the upper tank and it was wobbly a bit. I messaged them and ask if that's normal. A different tech came and temporary fixed it. I believe it's that type of tank that is just not steady in the upper part (top flush button) I ended up again using a towel to put behind to make it sturdy. Imagine that, a pricy toilet that uses a towel to keep the upper part sturdy. As annoying as it is to get estimates, you should definitely do that before you settle for one that's more pricy than it should have been. And all they care about is you rating them and keep asking you to rate them through email and phone.

Initially I was off-put by looking at the reviews, however my experience was great. The dispatcher was understanding over the phone, while I wish they could have sent someone out immediately, they put me down for the first timeslot the next morning. There were only 2 options & this one had better reviews than the other. Tech came out on a Friday, relit the pilot without issue. He turned it off again as he said the burner plates needed to be cleaned. He cleaned them, lit pilot & left. By Monday, the pilot was out again & there was a faint smell of gas in my garage. PG&E came out, said there was a minor leak like maybe a bolt just needed to be replaced but nothing major or dangerous. They also said the burner plates might need to be replaced as they were old (water heater is old). I reopened my claim & the plumber said they'd come back but couldn't get to me for another 5 days. I was angry of course because your tech was just here & didn't fix the issue, so silly me for thinking they'd come back sooner. The same tech came back, I told him what PG&E said, gave him the paper from PG&E saying what they found & his response was "no, they're wrong." The tech took everything apart, put it back together & said "your unit is just old & needs replacement." He submitted a work order to the warranty company who said his recommendation would require me to pay $1,900 out of pocket as I needed my gas line replaced, the permits, etc. On top of that, the smell of gas was EVEN STRONGER THAN BEFORE. I called a completely diff. plumber to come out, paid out of pocket for him to look at it, & he said there was a part on the front that wasn't properly fitted which was causing the gas to seep out in the air. He replaced the one part & my water heater has worked just fine ever since. Pilot hasn't gone out again, no gas smell, water is hot as heck. That was 3 weeks ago! So I only ended up spending $200 as opposed to the $1,900 this company told me I'd need to spend to fix the issue. Don't use this company as at least one of their techs is a darn scam artist who tried to hustle me.

After talking to Trenchless; I received an email confirmation for an appointment on the same day (Saturday) which was within a few hours. I later received another email of a name (Joseph Johnson) and picture of the technician to arrive. I did receive a call asking if the tech could arrive earlier since he most likely finished his previous appointment and I accepted. Joseph arrived and we discussed the problem. I previously tried to resolve the sewer clog but was unsuccessful. I already had pulled the toilet so it was easy for him to start his rooter/snake machine and he was able to unclog the sewer line easily within an hour or less. Joseph was very nice and professional and cares about his customers and the service he provides. We chatted briefly and thanked him for the great work. I did ask him if they could camera the line so I can find the cleanout right in the front of the house (not near sidewalk) and he scheduled someone to come over on Monday. The service call was only $99 and my problem was resolved by a real professional. Thanks Trenchless and Joseph!
