This place has been one of the pillars of my healing. When I'm injured or in pain or when I just want to let go of the shit I'm carrying, I know where to go. Nirvana. I went from barely being able to walk to playing full court basketball with college kids. I'm 62. No way I'd be doing that without the care I get from Nirvana. Last thing. I saw a negative comment here about someone getting a therapist they didn't like and gave a one star review. Here's my answer to that: YOU'RE HEALING IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. Shit happens. Sometimes it's not a good fit. Maybe the room is wrong or you're just not vibing with this particular massage therapist. So say something. Stop the massage and ask for another therapist or the one you want. This is your time that you have paid for. Don't lie there for an hour getting angry then leave a one star review. Don't be a victim. Get what you came there for. It's up to you to leave relaxed and fulfilled. Every massage therapist there is excellent or they wouldn't be there.

I tried a new place because my three back ups were all booked the day I wanted to go. This place is very dirty. They have disgusting carpet that never gets vacuumed in the rooms. I only know this because I dropped my earring and turned the light on and was met with a very gross flooring. They don't use the table extension for you to put your face through. They just give you a little donut with a paper towel on it that's disgusting. You smash your face into the massage table over and over again during the massage. It's ironic because I saw the face hole extension things under the bed when I dropped my earring. They just don't use them. When they have you flip over they give you a pillow to lay your head on. If you turn the light on after your massage I'll see how disgusting that pillow is too. Yuck. Apparently there is a wine tasting room next-door. That sounds very appealing to get a massage and then go winetasting after I guess? However, you can just hear the live music booming through the walls while you're getting a massage. It's not very relaxing. During my experience my lady did not understand what the word "NO" meant. I think that she thinks it means to bruise me over and over and make me stop the massage. I have a black bruise on my vertebrate. Never go here.

They went way too close to "down there" and didn't even cover certain areas when they weren't being massaged. I had no oil/lotion used besides on my back and it was not pleasurable. It was more so of a rub versus deep tissue massage. My mom just had foot surgery not too long ago and she asked that they avoid her foot, which they did not and she had to tell them to stop multiple times. At the end, we went to give a $5 tip per massage (10%) and the owner demanded more saying it's a minimum of $10 tip per person. First of all, there's no such thing as a minimum tip. Second, $5 was too generous for the kind of massage we each got. I will not be going back and encourage you to go elsewhere as there are plenty of other great parlors in the area.
