Great Massage!…read more Massage therapy is utilized for the treatment of a variety of health issues ranging from stress to certain medical conditions. For example, health conditions including insomnia, TMJ, anxiety, and nerve pain can be treated using massage therapy. Medically backed benefits of a massage include decreased stress, improved circulation, and reduced pain. Plus, getting a massage is simply rejuvenating to your body and mind. So, wouldn't it be nice if your insurance would cover your next massage? Insurance Covered Massage Therapy Did you know that your insurance may cover your massage therapy? Of course, this depends on the insurance plan and carrier with whom you have your insurance. While some insurance plans cover massage therapy, there are typically restrictions. For example, some plans cover massages under the guise of chiropractic care. Other plans might cover only a portion of care, such as the initial 15 minutes of a massage. You should be able to determine if your insurance covers massage therapy by taking a closer look at your health insurance policy. Otherwise, your insurance agent will be able to tell you point-blank if your coverage includes massage therapy. Massage Prescribed by a Physician Massage therapy can be prescribed by your doctor. If you are suffering from any of the following conditions, consult your physician to see if massage could be a treatment option: Stress-related insomnia Headaches Anxiety Digestive disorders Soft tissue sprains Sports injuries Fibromyalgia Paresthesias aka pins and needles sensation Myofascial pain syndrome Nerve pain TMJ (Temporomandibular joint pain) If your physician gives you a prescription for massage therapy as a treatment your insurance may cover treatment. Specifically, if you are being covered under workers compensation due to an injury you may be eligible for insurance covered massage. Injuries received in an automobile accident may also qualify you for massage therapy as a treatment prescribed by a physician.

I looked this place up on my birthday and was surprised they had a couple's massage. I called to…read moremake an appointment and they were really helpful in offering me the next available time. Luckily I got there in time and the place had a peaceful ambiance to it. The massage was really relaxing and soothing. I was pleased that my boyfriend had the time to calm himself and treat his body with a massage. My birthday present was unexpected, but at the same time, a very memorable one :)

So awful- I know the massages are really based on the person you got but there's a few other things…read moreto consider. Keep in mind that I'm going to massage about every two weeks. I tried a new place because my three back ups were all booked the day I wanted to go. This place is very dirty. They have disgusting carpet that never gets vacuumed in the rooms. I only know this because I dropped my earring and turned the light on and was met with a very gross flooring. They don't use the table extension for you to put your face through. They just give you a little donut with a paper towel on it that's disgusting. You smash your face into the massage table over and over again during the massage. It's ironic because I saw the face hole extension things under the bed when I dropped my earring. They just don't use them. When they have you flip over they give you a pillow to lay your head on. If you turn the light on after your massage I'll see how disgusting that pillow is too. Yuck. Apparently there is a wine tasting room next-door. That sounds very appealing to get a massage and then go winetasting after I guess? However, you can just hear the live music booming through the walls while you're getting a massage. It's not very relaxing. During my experience my lady did not understand what the word "NO" meant. I think that she thinks it means to bruise me over and over and make me stop the massage. I have a black bruise on my vertebrate. Never go here.
