If I could give zero stars I would. The first priority and responsibility of any massage salon or spa etc is health safety and hygiene. Yesterday I went to the Oak Park branch with my daughter for a combo body and foot massage. She is disabled so I specifically asked for a booth where we could be next to each other. There was only one client when we arrived so they had space. After waiting 15 minutes we get separated and I immediately demanded that we be together. They put us in a booth not next to one another despite there being space available but instead one where my daughter was laying opposite another client. What really was unacceptable is the entire time I was being massaged the gentleman therapist was coughing continuously and constantly sniffing. He did mot wear a mask and did not blow his nose nothing. Just kept sniffing and coughing the entire time every 2 minutes or so. When they moved my daughter and I for the feet reflexology portion of the massage, he continued to cough and sniff his nose mucus now directly in front of me less than 3 feet. No mask no consideration to look away. Im diabetic and have lupus and my daughter has cerbral.palsy. On departing I complained to the young fellow who seems like he was the manager and only one who spoke English about the situation but he merely apologized and disregarded my issue whild an elderly lady who was waiting to be attended to, heard the discussion and looked very perturbed. I paid them regardless but did not leave a tip obviously. How are these salons not vetted? I will be laying a health complaint. read more

I always try to come here when I am in town. The combination of a full body and foot massage is wonderful combination. The facility is clean, relaxing music is playing and staff is respectful and professional. You'll enjoy the visit. read more

Quick safe and clean. The staff is very professional and very efficient. Lucky I found this place

Very good at what they do and you can't beat the price!!! The only reason why I gave this business a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because it is very stuffy in there. Maybe they should open a window? read more

Mitch is extremely talented. His touch and technique is one of a kind. He knew exactly where my body needed the most attention... I now have a standing appointment and will be seeking his services routinely. read more

Lately I've discovered the wonder of foot massage places. The beauty of a late night, walk in destination for a relaxing self-care moment. This is the second place I've tried and each one definitely had their own style, technique, and vibe inside the location. When entering the facility there is a sign instructing customers to sign in and wait for a staff member to become available. They have a computer monitor which shows the time left for each staff, which is quite nifty. I waited about 5 minutes before being seen at 9:15pm. I was happy to wait and happy to be seen so late. I was offered water and my timer was started. Gina did a 40-minute reflexology foot massage and it was heavenly. The whole time I kept my eyes shut and listened to the relaxing music playing. The chairs are wide and pretty comfy. They can recline if you'd like. They place a soft dark green towel on your body, soak your feet in a warm tub and then start the massage one foot at a time. Some points were tender and made me want to clinch, but I tried to breathe through it as I know the reflexology benefits. It was interesting to see how one foot had different tender spots than the other. Gina was so strong and never let up. She was consistent with her pressure and it felt like she was taking her time. I will definitely be back to see if Gina can do a full body massage on me :) She was great! read more

I downloaded yelp just to write this review. I just got honestly one of the worst/ most uncomfortable massages of my life. I had to stop before the time was up because it just quite honestly felt awful. This man also spend 80% of the massage, working on my upper thighs and butt, so uncomfortable! Definitely not leaving relaxed one bit. ): read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. The massages are great and the atmosphere is calming. The best factor, it's so clean! I recommend the Relaxing Station to anyone that wants an affordable and quality massage. read more

Incredible for a quick massage or anything longer needed! Very clean, and cute place. Relaxing is what it does!

Amazing value for your money. All treatments done in open space and not private, but atmosphere is relaxing. William is amazing! Combination is 30 minute massage and 30 minute foot reflexology. Foot reflexology is the best i have had at any of these type of places. Would definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed! Especially for the price! read more

This place is AWESOME. It's NOT a western massage. It's a original Chinese one. There are no oils or soft rubbing. This is done fully clothed with a towel on top in an open space. If you have pain this is the place to come. Super clean. Highly recommend it. read more

Strangest massage I've ever gotten. I got 1 hour full body, which ALWAYS includes tops of shoulders and feet. Those are the only 2 places i care about. An older guy did it. Spoke zero English, which I usually don't care about, but he didn't know what he was doing. Poor thing. I layed on my stomach the whole time and he poked my back & legs with his elbow for an hour. I never flipped over. He never massaged my shoulders or feet. I'm so confused. I had a huge heavy towel laying down my whole body, with full clothes on underneath. I don't know how anybody can feel a massage that way. I sure didn't. I tried to ask him about my feet but he had no idea what I was saying. I should have gone grocery shopping. read more

Great cheap place to take the edge off The let you tell them how intense as well as how fast or slow This place is legit and good and taking that underlining pain out of the muscles I highly Recommend this place for just a quick fix read more

This was the worst massage . Massaged me with a towel over me . He had gloves on. Literally moved in one spot for the longest time with his forearm a few times . kept massaging over the bone and that hurts. Never turned me over. You could tell he never went to massage school. This was not a relaxing experience. read more

I can't praise this place enough. They opened while I was away at college and the first thing I'd do when I'd come home was run over here. I've lived in many places and nothing quite compares to Relaxing Station! Seriously strong, hard-working employees. I think what blows my mind is the convenience of it- it's effortless to make it a weeknight occasion. They're open late and (nearly) always have availability when I walk in. I've arrived at 6, 7, 8, 9 PM you name it, they make room for me. And the price is almost a steal. I appreciate that because then I can leave a 20-40% tip which I am HAPPY to do here, they deserve it. Of every single business in the Conejo Valley I would be most heartbroken if this went out of business. read more

Love this place -- have been coming for years! Their foot massages are unparalleled, and I have never found anywhere better. I would say it does sometimes get busy and there is a wait (especially if there are only a couple people working), so you may have to be flexible, but it is SO worth it and I always return even if they don't have time for me at the moment. Most do not speak English very well, but are so kind and make sure they are going at the right speed/strength. I have asked for harder/softer massage and they do a great job catering to your style. It's cheap and they work hard so I always try to leave a nice tip. read more

One of the worst massages I've had. Never a fan of these type of massage places that are open floor tables and don't use lotion but 95% of the 60 minute massage I had was on my upper back where they basically try digging their elbows into you as hard as humanly possible. It almost seemed as if they don't know how to massage and that's all they were told to do. Will not be back here read more

Very clean great customer service excellent massage Happy they are open again! Better massage than most of the spas I have been too for a better price. read more

Relaxing Station - So happy they are open again, I have always had a great experience here. - Massage Near Me - Oak Park, California

I paid for a chair massage and chose the hardest pressure . I was givin a guy with no name tags but on the screen his number was 77. The guy spent more time rubbing my legs and lower area,he barely applied and pressure was doing the same movement not really massage me. THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF HE STARTS TO WHISPER SO LUCKY YOU SO BEAUTIFUL! I said what and he wouldn't answer me then he would repeat it again and I said excuse me left Ed my head and he said oh not done then said it one more time before tapping me and saying I was done. It was so unacceptable and I felt so uncomfortable. Paid money to get my knot out and left feeling worse then I did going in! read more

I really love this place. Great massages, clean environment, the people don't smell like smoke and are in clean uniforms. Their English isn't good but their massage skills are amazing and they are really nice. I have now been going here for the last 4 months and finally decided to write my review. I think they are the best massage for the price! One hour for only 38$. read more

Very skilled staff. They actually massage for full hour. Pleasant music and gift cards available. Respectful of personal space. Really enjoy the foot massage which includes lower legs. I recommend them located in Oak Park. read more

Went into this gem today to see what the fuss was about based on a recommendation from a work partner. I got 60 minutes in the chair and I have to say that it was an exceptional massage. As someone who holds a lot of tension in their shoulders, I can say that I feel amazing after. It is always clean, quiet, and very rarely is there a wait. All in all, this place is affordable as well! Will certainly be a returning customer! read more

Very professional and organized to get everyone in and out, and to be transparent about any wait times. I'm going to keep going, that's for sure! read more

Love this place! Have been going for about a year now always have a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and massages can't be beat for the price you pay. My go to place for some me time! Highly recommend. read more

We used to drive all the way up to Ojai, just so we could get a one hour foot massage at the Relaxing Station there. Now there is a Relaxing Station in Oak Park just a few miles from home. The one hour foot massage for $45 is the best deal going! Great experience every time. 100% recommended! read more

Just finished a thirty minute foot massage and I have to say it was the best one I have ever received. I work as a CNA and am on my feet all day working with patients, so I was in a dire need for a massage recently. They soak your feet in warm water for 2-3 mins appx. and apply oil to the calfs and feet. Massage included calfs, ankles, and feet. In addition, they do a slight deep tissue tapping on the calfs and feet, which loosened up my muscles. Each leg received 15 mins of massaging. The atmosphere is very calming with light Chinese music/nature sounds and they play nature videos on a flat screen. I almost fell asleep! Well worth the money for the service. read more

Your employees should not be smoking in front of your door and smelling up the whole place then do a massage without cleaning themselves and changing to a new shirt, not everyone enjoys the smell of cigarettes polluting their lungs. read more

I really enjoy going here for full body massage. The place is clean and prices for what you receive are a excellent value. You need to know most all Massage therapists here cannot speak English, but their craft is good. It's traditional Chinese acupressure so you'll be asked to choose between 1-10 for pressure. 3 is a strong massage in my opinion. I love Lisa and Kevin. read more

Great service at a great value! I've been here a few times, but came in today with totally seized up shoulders and am walking out feeling soooo much better! Did 30 minutes on the chair and 30 minutes on the table with a heavy concentration on my shoulders and couldn't be happier! read more

This is a quick walk in massage place that is very reasonably priced. The foot massages and chair massages are better than the full body massage. I recommend a combo body and foot. All one hour treatments are $35. The place is clean and friendly. For foot massage, they soak feet first and then get you massage going. So cheap and cheerful! The body massages are on the open floor so they aren't as good because they don't put oils on the body or anything. They wear gloves and cover you with towels and blankets. They are strong but it's more trigger point than it is full massage. read more

Simply amazing! I just had the best massage from a truly gifted therapist. A mix of acupressure and barefoot... So relaxing, and exactly what I needed after hours in front of a computer. It's great to just be able to walk in and immediately get worked on, and for the price, Relaxing Station can't be beat! They offer chair massage, reflexology foot massage, full body massage, or a combination. I recommend the Relaxing Station to all my friends and family, it's wonderful there! I'm totally hooked!! read more

I was very happy with their services. I had severe neck pain and could not move my neck without pain before I came here . I am able to move with relative ease now and I am sure going to visit this place soon. read more

Simple and great. I get foot reflexology here and every time has been incredible. They also offer other types of massage but it's all done out in the open. Not fancy but again... great!! Such reasonable prices too! read more

This is a beautiful place to relax and have a massage. Although the space is open, it is very peaceful and quiet.

I chose a 60min full body massage and it felt great! I'm not sure when the negative reviews were written in relation to their - I'm guessing newish - communication system which addresses those reviewers' issues. When you sign in, you specify how you like your massage on a numbered scale system (hard/soft, slow/fast movement, etc) and before beginning with your masseuse, you specify by pointing on a card with a translation for them any details on your preference i.e. harder, softer, mostly (point to body area), don't touch (point to body area), etc. I liked it; it made for efficient communication that was to the point and started my massage quickly. If you absolutely have to have someone speak English to you, then you should go elsewhere. Otherwise, they've made it easy to communicate your wants, needs and preferences. Offering a bottle of water without charge is a nice touch, too. You can't beat the price, but it still wouldn't be worth it if the massage itself wasn't good - and the massage absolutely is a good one. I'll be back regularly! read more

What a wonderful experience. This is the place to go to have all your stress and sore muscles rubbed away. I am not sure how my massage therapist knew to focus on my sore spots, but he didn't stop until I was feeling super relaxed... Well mostly like Jell-O. The place was very clean and tidy. The people were super friendly. The price super cheap. An hour full body for $36. She seemed very surprised by a $20 tip, but I dont think they should accept anything less for the non stop attention they give you. I will Def be back. Great end to an evening!! read more

I love coming here after a long day to get a great massage at a very affordable price. Twice this week, I noticed the manager spoke English.

This place is very clean and open. The foot massage felt like professional reflexology. I was very impressed and will go back for a foot massage. I've been back twice. The messages are very firm. read more

It is absolutely a relaxing spot, very clean and affordable. Me and my family have been coming here for the past two years and getting a foot massage or a full body massage. Most of massage therapists don't speak English but it's fairly easy to explain the message type you are interested in by using their chart at the check-inn counter. read more
