This was a large order costing me around $350 which to my surprise upon picking my order a month and a half later, found the quality of the alterations to be below subpar. There was one item of clothing that wasn't even altered which was incredibly frustrating because we carefully went over all the areas that required attention in great detail. When I attempted to tried to address my dissatisfaction, I was quickly told that they "did make alterations", yet were unable to show me exactly where. I explained that I have tried the clothing on after the job was done only to find that they did not fit. Seeing that I was disappointed, they only offered to fix one clothing item and disregarding the other items. They never bothered to offer to redo the job at free cost, instead expecting for me to pay even more money for a job that they did not met. I'm sure their dry cleaning services are great but their alternation services are below standard. I will not be using them at any point in the future. 1/10 would not recommend.

When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. When I mentioned it to the person on staff, she looked up my drop off inventory and said that it wasn't on the list. This tells me that the guy who took my drop off, and was about my size, must have left off the list and taken it. The staff told me that her manager was on a work call and would reach out to me about it. They also told me to check and see if it was at my house. Immediately said that it is not. Time went by, so I called back. I was told that the manager would reach out to see how I wanted to be reimbursed, store credit or a check. Another week goes by no call. I've called 3 times and gotten the same response. No resolve, no one calls me back. In the end, all I wanted to do was for them to make a note that if it showed up somewhere that it was mine. It's obviously not showing up and the management has no intention of addressing the issue at all. Stay clear of this establishment.

When I called to ask about this, I was told that it's "normal" for the hem to fall out after some time and that I needed to be more careful with handling the garment. I did not mishandle the garment beyond standard wear by any means. I was also told I'd need to pay again to have them re-hemmed (they did offer a discount). I took the garment back to be re-hemmed at a discount, only for the stitch to fall out again a few months later. I will not be bringing any items back here to be tailored. I expected professional work that lasts -- instead, I got a hem that failed almost immediately and a response that did not take any accountability. Not what I would expect for basic alterations.

I bought a pattern from Vogue, a whole cow hide, three rabbit pelts, and 12 yards of black satin and brought it to Rey. four and a half months and MANY modifications later (including the detachable hood with rabbit fur trim, large zippered pockets, puff shoulders and a center zipper instead of the straight shoulders and asymetrical motorcycle side zipper from the original pattern), I now have this GORGEOUS bespoke jacket of my dreams! Rey was wonderful to work with - endlessly patient and accommodating, and IMO very reasonably priced. Besides what I paid for materials, he only charged me $600 to make the whole thing from scratch! Five hundred stars!! 1000% recommend!!
