(Don't worry, you can walk, run, or bike all those calories off on the Willard Munger trail that stretches 70 miles towards Duluth. Menus are limited, but almost always that means quality over quantity. Monthly pizza specials keep it novel, and those specials extend beyond food. The Tavern closes earlier than other locations in town and that keeps the younger crowd away. Nevertheless, there's still a great group of locals that frequent often, with a great atmosphere, awesome staff, excellent owners, and weekly events that attract.
