The apple fritter was special because it was still warm, and so fresh that it still had an airy texture. The bite of maple fried roll I had was good. The bulk of the cinnamon roll was mine, and wow, it was fantastic. I loved the generous amount of frosting, and the bread was soft and good. There are many more things here I want to try, but they will need to wait for another trip north!

(Don't worry, you can walk, run, or bike all those calories off on the Willard Munger trail that stretches 70 miles towards Duluth. Highly recommend if you enjoy a good local beer, a great value, walkability, and a friendly owner. Enjoy this new quintessential Main Street USA experience. I would go back and revisit because you can't take it all in, in just one day. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not filled on our stay. They have a lot of table and chairs to sit around the pool area. This location is across the street from Hinckley casino if you like to gamble it's a short walk. The casino also has 21 and older swimming at night! The hotel room is average. I did sleep well. I like how they have a mini fridge & microwave in the room. There is no breakfast. They do have a coffee pot in the room. Their showers work well. We pre-booked on Expedia for about $85 and when I asked the hotel guy how much the average room is he said if we just walked in off the street it could be as much as $400 if there's an event going on!
