The service was a little slow. Ordered the walleye. I had only seen the fried sandwich on the menu so I thought that was what I would be getting. I was asked if I wanted the walleye fried or grilled, i chose grilled and I said i wanted it with the fried chips. I wasn't asked to specify anything else. I received the walleye platter. It came with a pile of cooked baby carrots and a roll. The walleye wasn't anything special. Maybe my mistake was ordering it at a casino restaurant in Hinkley. Oh well. read more

This is a restaurant located inside the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN. We enjoy coming to this spot due to the dinner special deals for being a member at the casino. On a regular basis, you can use your membership card to get the dinner special deals! It's a pretty sweet perk! Tonight we had the sirloin steak special with baked potato and steamed vegetables for only $19.99! The steak was grilled just right - pink on the inside, flavorful and juicy! We also had the deep fried brussel sprouts as an appetizer and it was delicious! The server was very friendly and prompt. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable....just right for our date night. Myself and my partner in crime arrived on a Thursday night break in a stressful week for us. We were looking to have a drink and some food. After getting our beverages we decided to share the prime rib sandwich this menu item was a poor choice greasy food could not eat the roll it was on so grease soaked. I'm had a great meal here. It was very busy and service was fast and the food came out quickly. We had the Walleye dinner, it was excellent and the sides of Cole slaw and sweet potato bites were delicious. Prices very reasonable. I will definitely come back. read more

It was busy at 530 pm on a Saturday night and we only had to wait 20-minutes. Excellent food and service. Cassandra was our waitress who provided us good service and ideas for dinner. We don't like Pepsi products and Cassandra added cherry to make it decent for my wife to drink. The steaks were cooked perfect with just the right spices. The ribs were delicious. We love the fact they have salt and pepper at your table and cloth napkins, unlike most restaurants. The restaurant was the highlight of our stay at the casino hotel. read more

Decent place with a okay menu. We had the brisket Sammy, side of tots and Brussel sprouts. Food was good but a little uninteresting. Atmosphere was nice, service was okay, but we didn't feel much interest in making a point of coming back. On a more positive note they had a good drink and beer list. read more

What a great remodel and new menu for this space. Visited on a Friday night at dinner time 6ish and the place was very quiet. It's opening hunting weekend so I'm sure that has something to do with it. They craft beer list and drink list has a lot of great local options. I ended up getting the grilled shrimp entree. It comes with two sides, I chose Brussel sprouts and Mac n cheese. The Brussels were charred like I love and the cavatappi noodles and loads off cheese in the Mac was great. The shrimp were on a skewer and grilled with a light lime colored sauce. Yum!! Plenty of food from my dish for lunch tomorrow. It was a big portion. My parents had the brisket sandwich I took a bite and it was awesome. Our server was really friendly too. Would definitely come back. Also a plus is the side door so if you prefer to not walk thru the smoky casino you can just come and eat. The last restaurant that was here didn't have outside access. read more

Food was good, Ratings based on the service. Our waitress was horrible! Saturday evening pretty busy got put on waiting list waited for about an hour finally got a text at about 730 ish came up last weekend wish we would've kept the original receipt & remember her name most of all. She wrote down her own tip our bill was only about $45. Account posted today for $95 which I know is incorrect. We wrote down $4 plus $5 in cash because of the service we was getting from her. We got sat in the far back corner by the bathrooms. Just two of us that night. Seating was fine. But appetizers came out very cold. Got the dill pickle curds which was pretty good for its temperature. Fries was fries. We also got prime Rib queen's cut ordered medium came out pretty well done, yet still enjoyed it. When we made the order she had a whole attitude because we was sharing that night originally my partner was going to get some steak but changed her mind because she didn't have much of an appetite. Should've known it was going to be a problem then & there. We live way too far to even make the drive out again to handle this. & of course with no receipt what can we possibly do. Just super inconvenient, inconsiderate this happened. I'm sure she's done this more than once. I hope management figures this out sooner than later. read more

What a horrible place to eat. I wish your could give zero stars! We were celebrating my daughter and best friends 2 daughters 18th birthday. First time they got to go to the casino. The waitress didn't even get me a drink, everyone else got one. I had an outdated menu and when I was asking questions about it. The waitress had a deer in the headlight look on her face and couldn't even say sorry, this one must not have been switched when they changed menus. Our appetizers came out with our meal- Really- do you think we still want them if our food is there too! The food was horrible. The prime rib sandwich had no flavor, mine came incomplete- no onions. Had to wait over 10 minutes for sautéed onions, no sorry, no nothing! By the time the onions came, my food was cold and most of us where done because their food sucked too. The brisket- absolutely no flavor, this should be full of flavor- it's brisket! We paid $150 for crap food and crap service. Arbys has a better french dip then this crappy restaurant! Then I called the manager over to explain to her what was going on and she just said the District Manager would handle the complaint. If your hungry at the casino- Stick with the other places- the snack station is way better and certainly cheaper. Stay Away From The Grill House! read more

The food was very good and reasonably priced but what really stood out was the staff. We were told that it would be an hour wait for the Grille House which was fine with us and we decided to have a glass of wine at the bar while waiting. A staff member came over and said if we would like to have dinner while sitting at the bar they would make it happen quickly. The bar servers were fantastic- very friendly and most accommodating. Me and a group of 9 were there it took an hour and a half to bring out our food but they only brought out 4/9 meals. Ordered 3 apitizers, only received 1 before main courses. Took an additional half hour to receive the rest of our food. I ordered the garlic parmesan chicken wings and they tasted like bacon and were very dry. Not just to me but to 3 others as well. Bartender Sarah took great care of us while we waited for our table on a busy Friday night. Sadly, our expected wait of 30 minutes turned into 40, and we were then told it would be another 30 minutes. When finally seated, Cheryl was friendly and took our order quickly, understanding that we were going to a show at 7 pm. We waited, and waited, and waited for our food to arrive ... we talked with the manager, she apologized and said she would check on our order. While she was checking on our order, another table got up and left because they were in the same situation. To make us feel really crummy, a table that was seated after us was served their food before we were served. When our food finally arrived, more than 30 minutes after we placed our order, we had to eat fast to make it to the show. Our group of 4 ordered the brisket, a mushroom Swiss burger, salmon BLT, and a California cheeseburger. All plates looked good except the Cali burger came out on a plain bun, no lettuce, no tomato, nothing but the poor lonely burger. Food was okay. While we were eating, another table of 4 left before their food arrived - complaining of the wait. Really poor service makes it hard to recommend this place to anyone. Overall horrible time. We arrived and were told we would have to wait 15 minutes. No big deal, we were shocked it was that low judging by all the people also waiting. The time estimate was spot on and I got the text that they were ready for my 4 top in 10 minutes exactly. We sat down and then proceeded to wait about 30 minutes for our server to greet us. We all got the burger deal with half of us doing the bacon cheeseburger and the other half doing the breakfast burger. We had also ordered a couple of appetizers as we were starving. So about 50 minutes after having sat down we got our first appetizers. We had the onion rings and the sweet potato tater tots. We loved the onion rings and the sweet potato tater tots were pretty darn amazing, too! I loved that they were sweet but had a little bit of a kick to them plus the pork was just icing on the cake! Not sure how long later but our burgers come out. We were pleased with them and they definitely defied our expectations, albeit slightly dry. Our server seemed uninterested in us the entire time we were there. I'm not sure whether or not he was busy or what but it was a Monday night. He had a couple tables in his section but sometimes we wouldn't see him out in the dining room for long times. I would not recommend this place. If the buffet is open, go to that instead. read more

This is our first time staying in the RV Resort! We decided to try The Grille House after reading some of the reviews online. We were not disappointed!!! The atmosphere is one of fun and we were treated as if we had been here many times!! We were seated really quick even tho there was a party of 6 and 2 ahead of us. Maybe a 5 minute wait. But the best part of our entire time there was our server Alyssa(sp)!! Since we were new to the restaurant Alyssa took the time to explain the on-tap beers(mostly local!) and let us have a small sample of what we thought we might like!!! Mine was delish; my sweet hubby didn't like his so he ordered his fav on-tap. Our drinks came and soon after a small plate of yummy rolls with butter. Two minutes later, literally, our food comes out!!! Piping hot and smelling yummy!! Hubby ordered prime rib, me tequila marinated shrimp. Food was fantastic!! Even more amazing...my hubby's prime had a good bit of fat on it. Alyssa walked by checking on us and saw the fat, got a plate, asked my hubby to cut off the fat because she was taking it to the back. He insisted she didn't need to but she did. Out she comes with another plate of prime rib!! We have never been treated so much like celebrities as we were here! The entire staff is wonderful. Alyssa took it up a notch!!
