All the time, there was one cashier, and one other employee stocking shelves. After roughly ten minutes, the cashier, who'd looked directly at me many times already, asked me if I needed help. I told her I pressed the button to pick up an online order, and told me the button doesn't work. Why she decided to wait a full ten minutes to tell me this is beyond me, but she then collected my information, and radioed to a coworker to bring me my item. The other employee fetched my item (a very large office laser printer), and wheeled it out to my car for me. In the box, it was too big to fit into my car. She said they'd be happy to hold it for me until I came back with a bigger vehicle, and I said I'd just unbox it and put it in my car that way. All the while, she seemed apprehensive, and in a hurry to get back into the store. She told me they'd need the box if I had to return it, so I said I'd collapse the box and take it with me. She then told me to "keep a close eye on it", as she hurriedly scooted back toward the store. I had no idea what she was getting at, and she must have seen my confusion and added, "...because of the clientele", suggesting that the location was in a seedy area. I got the printer and box packed into my car, and got it home safely. The printer's been fine, but had I known the location was so bad, and that the service would have been so bad, I'd never have selected this as the pickup location.

While there I picked up printer paper and some other odds and ends. Store is large, same footprint as most. Lots of parking out front. Helpful customer service reps.

Terrible service Overpriced products…read moreThey won't honor their "guaranteed" products I've purchased printer ink at this location for several years. It's really a toss up if the Office Depot brand recycled cartridges will be any good. They claim they're guaranteed but they don't honor that guarantee. It's even printed on the packaging. I purchased 2 Office Depot recycled HP black printer cartridges at one time because there was a "deal" at the time. Note: When checking out they give the option to email your receipt to you and that is what I chose for this transaction. The first cartridge was ok but seemed to not be completely filled since I got about half the number of pages out of it as an HP brand cartridge. It lasted approx. 1 week for me. I loaded the 2nd into the printer and it wouldn't print at all. The cartridge was empty. I returned to the store wanting to exchange it for the same item. The VERY irritated cashier, who was apparently angry that he was called to a register, asked me for my receipt. I told him it was emailed and brought it up on my phone. The emailed receipt wasn't acceptable to him. He told me I needed my "actual receipt". I didn't opt to get a paper receipt so I didn't have one. He proceeded to angrily bash the register without telling me what he was doing. He then handed me a store credit for $13. I asked him why I was getting $13 when the cartridges came to around $25 each even with the sale that was happening at the time. He told me that's what I get back when I don't have a receipt. I decided not to cause a big scene, proceeded to grab a few things my kids needed for school, spent the $13, and I left the store. I have also returned several dozen ink cartridges here, over about 3 years, for their recycling credit. When I've asked about receiving those credits off my purchases they tell me I don't have any on my account. To top off the day Office Depot sent me a satisfaction survey about my visit. Funny! I won't return to this store. I only purchased things here because it was an easy place to run in and grab what I needed for immediate use. Find your ink somewhere else or online. This store is VERY over priced on everything anyway. It's cheaper to purchase ink online and you'll receive it with 0% attitude. If you prefer a store to buy from, Fred Meyer is just a little ways down the road and also has ink.
