Best donuts around! Wonderful owners, extremely friendly, polite and knowledgeable. We go there whenever we're in town early enough to get the donuts -- they sell out fast! Today we arrived around 10am and they still had a pretty good selection. We picked up an Apple-Cherry Fritter, an expresso-chocolate donut, 2 nutters, and my all-time favorite the sour cream. I have an extreme allergy to artificial sweeteners and they're always patient about letting me know whats in each donut. The atmosphere in the seating area is relaxing and "groovy".

Best donuts in the Lansing area hands down. Blueberry cake donuts and lemon Bismarck are my go to choices, but all are great!

Phenomenal donuts! You can tell they are baked fresh every day. My friend and I bought two dozen for a girls' trip and we massacred them. The girl behind the counter was super friendly too. It has a cool look on the inside as well. Reviewed them on Square and they sent me a 20% coupon. Shiiiiit. Now I have to go back.

Super cute local donut shop in Williamston! They offer up all kinds of donuts from old fashioned, to cake to yeast and all flavors! We ordered a strawberry one with frosting/sprinkles, a long john filled with cream (not custard), a traditional yeast with frosting and a coffee and chocolate glazed. These donuts were fresh and delicious. Super soft and flavorful and not overly heavy. They were also CHEAP! We got all 4 donuts for $5! Can't beat that!

Apple cider, pumpkin and a "mellow yellow" cinnamon bun with lemon. Groovy, baby!

I've been into Groovy Donuts a handful of times now since it first opened, and I am so thrilled that Williamston finally has a place like this!! The donuts are excellent, fresh and come in a wide range of flavors and styles. The cake donuts are some of the best I've ever had. We tried a maple bacon fritter last weekend which we popped into the oven when we got home-- it was soft in the middle, crispy on the outside, the bacon was fresh and crispy, and the maple was not too sweet or overwhelming. With regards to the review below that says the cinnamon bun centers are still doughy, I say that if you don't like a gooey center in your cinnamon bun, you should just stick to Pillsbury! I haven't tried anything that wasn't excellent. The coffee is also good... try the Cafe con Leche if you have a few minutes to spare while they brew it. Service is very friendly in this family-owned shop, and I hope they're around for years to come! Make sure you get there early if you want to choose between everything-- it sells out quickly!

Groovy Donuts did a custom order that perfectly complimented my daughters birthday cake! Everyone loved it!

Seriously the BEST donuts in the East Lansing area! If you haven't tried them, you need to! It's about time we got a good donut bakery in town!

Wonder what they sell in there?

Really solid donuts. Good mix of flavor and style but not trying to reinvent the donut.

Had a hankering for a doughnut and I saw that in Lansing Michigan by Michigan State University,…read moreThere was a place called Mitten Raised donuts. Now you have to get here pretty early to get a good selection, but they had a couple left and of course I grabbed them. The first one I got was called a Bart, which was a glazed doughnut that was rectangular with Reese's pieces, chocolate peanut butter, and some cream along with googly eyes and Butterfinger pretty good really over the top Sweet but really good raised donut and then I got some kind of glazed with raspberry and some eyeball in the center. I haven't tried that yet but it looks cool and then they had one called RIP David, which is basically a rectangular custard/cream filled hybrid with chocolate on top. I'm looking forward to that one too, but they had everything from themed cookies to coffee, cake, other pastries and of course a lot of coffee drinks. It's in a little plaza called the Brookfield Plaza. Definitely stop in and see if I ever come back to Lansing. I will give it a try for something different.

Their pricing is fair for being unique baked goods and I love how diverse their options are. The space is cozy and perfect for those on the run or looking for somewhere to get some work done while enjoying a coffee and a treat. There's often a line to order but it moves quickly and it's worth the wait.

Basic, no frills, classic bakery with solid, reliable offerings. Service is very fast…read more After 8 years of hearing about Dom's, I finally got to try it and I have to admit, these are the best apple fritters and donuts I've ever had. Even more impressive, my husband said the apple fritters haven't changed and taste exactly how he remembers it from undergrad. We just went in for some apple fritters but left with a giant box: 3 apple fritters, 2 glazed donuts, 2 cider donuts with cinnamon sugar, and 2 eclairs with custard filling. Those apple fritters were massive and heavy! We split one with a black coffee and it was amazing. Then, we split a glazed donut. Generally, as far as donuts go, my all time fav is a plain glazed. This was the best apple fritter and glazed donut I've ever had! Actually! We shared the rest of the box with our family and grazed on them throughout the weekend. Definitely worth going out of your way to pop in for a sweet treat if you're in Ypsilanti, or the Ann Arbor/Detroit area.

Their maple cinnamon roll was amazing and even had a crispy texture at the bottom!! There is a 50cent charge for using credit card. There is only outside seating on a lunch table.
