Molasses cookies
Charli O.

Stopped in after a quick lunch around the corner. Good sized bakery with room to sit down, but the area by the counter where you order is a bit cramped. Picked up molasses cookies, baklava and I couldn't resist an adorable Día de los Muertos marshmallow stick near the register. As it was their tenth anniversary and I spent more than ten dollars, I also received a free set of mini cupcakes. They didn't last long enough to get a full picture I love that the baklava is in the shape of eggrolls! The cashier (who also got my goodies) was friendly and quick and the treats are delicious!

Peanut Butter shake

The peanut butter shake was presented beautifully but it was sickeningly sweet and all the individual ingredients were not very high quality. The hours on their door and website do need to be updated for summer because they have been expanded for the season. The staff was really helpful and kind though. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

We have been wanting to try these famous shakes for YEARS!! When we walked in I was shocked to see how it wasn't as busy as expected. It is a really small shop, it was hard to shop in the cash register area, I really wanted to look at everything but it was a tight squeeze. We ordered our shakes, I found it weird we had to ask for a menu, one was no where to be found. I was honestly so disappointed in the quality of the shakes. I really had high expectations after all the hype surrounding them. The taste of the strawberry one was terribly fake tasting, I couldn't stand it. The cookies and cream shake was 1/2 whipped cream. The whipped cream was not creamy it was very oily so I did not enjoy it. We simply will not be back for the shakes we will be back for the other bakery items: cookies, cakes, etc...

Colorful fun cute drink. We had it at twelve oaks mall and it was perfect for a tea break. I could stop looking at it because of the beautiful colors and decorations.

A dessert lover's paradise!!! The milkshakes come in a variety of flavors and are stacked with a variety of their delicious confections. The millionaire shake was a mix of toffee, chocolate, and caramel... SO good! If you're looking for a dessert on the go or need to bring something to a gathering, there are plenty of cupcakes, mini cheesecakes, cake jars/pops, cookies, and MORE! Those that prefer savory, try their pizza rolls

O. M. G. This place is awesome! From the moment you walk into the store through the time you leave, the aroma makes you feel like heaven. Everything looks and smells yummy. I heard that the shakes are to die for. They are humongous and beautiful, but we were too full to partake. Instead, we settled for ordering one of each cookie bar and heading home with a bag full of goodies. Make sure to come in and take a look...but not when you're hungry. Otherwise, you will fill up with sugar! Go online to get their menu selection and prices because there are no posted prices anywhere. Try at your own risk!

Fun place to visit, but VERY pricey and not everything is marked with price so you have to ask. Shake was yummy, but the majority of it was whipped topping under the donut, cupcake, chocolate piece, cupcake, and Oreos- very little milkshake. The other items were good too- cookie, cookie dough, and brownies. Sitting area is very small both inside and patio area, but it wasn't super busy when we went, so that was a positive.

I am a super fan of M Street! I had heard they were coming to 12 Oaks Mall. I was walking around on an impromptu trip to the mall, and boom, it's now open! I had not heard it had actually opened, but I was so excited to see it! Luckily, there was not too long a line. I do hear that once the evening or weekend hits, there will be a long line. They have their classic shakes there, which are incredible. I will need to come back for the shakes soon. They also have their very famous baked goods. They do not have the full menu, but today they had chocolate covered Oreo's, cake pops, large cookies, cookie dough cups, cake cups, chocolate covered pretzels, and their famous lemonade. Today, I got their lemonade for the kids and I. I got mermaid, strawberry, and blackberry. I love their lemonade, it is so good. They are also really fun for kids and kids at heart because they are very glittery and sparkly. They taste as good as they look as well. I highly recommend the muddy buddy cookies, cookie dough, and cake cups on top of the drinks and shakes. The space is very small, so I can imagine a line growing, but they are typically good about cranking out the shakes in Howell, so they seem like they will be able to do the same in Novi. The employees were very friendly, informative, and helpful here. They seems to be experienced and some seem to have come from their other location. This is a must try place if you are a fan of baked goods.

MStreet is a must stop if you're traveling through Howell, MI. They serve confectionery treats to suit anyone's tastes and photo worthy milkshakes. I have yet to try their savory baked goods but they usually have a rotation of cheesy gluten filled options as well! We love their edible cookie dough and decadent shakes. The only reason I can't award a 5/5 is some of the shakes are way too sweet and lacking the flavor they intended, secondly the rim of the cup makes an awful mess but a beautiful pic! Be prepared for long lines if you visit during the summer months, in Howells quaint downtown this is one of its most popular spots. There is street parking and small parking lots around, this shouldn't be an issue.

I was very happy with the graduation cookies I ordered and the service is excellent. I can't wait to go back and try more treats.

Hello heaven in a cup. That's in reference to the limited time strawberry shortcake milkshake. Listen, you can share this bad boy with a friend or two. A creamy strawberry shortcake flavored milkshake topped with an ice cream bar, whipped cream, golden Oreos, a mini cupcake, and white chocolate Kit Kat. It tastes exactly like a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. It is beyond delicious! Aside from that I purchased a buckeye brownie and cinnamon roll. I'll edit my review later to let you know how they taste! There were so many treats in the bakery. I never knew they had more than the milkshakes! They have cupcakes, brownies, these pizza things (questionable to me because they aren't refrigerated), cookies, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, the list goes on! I loved the bright and clean atmosphere. Very simple yet cute in this place. This place is known to get very busy so with limited hours, I suggest going in a Thursday or Sunday evening! I can't wait to try my other treats!

The fact that they order their flour from France so the Gluten is very minimal and not processed as it is here. I'm sure they can tell you more and explain it better. As someone who has been Gluten Free for many years and just started eating it again. I like knowing the care and ingredients that go into their products. This business is small but has a lot of character. The Italian Bread is delicious. It has a nice chew to it and fluffy texture. Even better if you're lucky enough to get it fresh and hot from the oven. My favorites are the Croissants. I love the Plain and the Almond is nice as well. . I'm very picky about Croissants and I wish I didn't like them so much because we are constantly stopping in. They now have Cruffins as well. Which is a treat. Usually I can only get them when I'm out of town. I still want to try the Cinnamon Cruffin. I wasn't overly impressed with the Bavarian Creme filling, it tasted more like vanilla pudding to me. The Nutella Cruffin my husband enjoyed. They have a lot of seasonal favorites and specials. The Cinnamon Rolls are good and available only on the weekend. Hot tip* Order online or get there early. There is usually a line out the door.

Their pastries are reasonably priced and they always have deals of the day although the discounts are negligible - eg something normally $4.89 might be on sale for $4.29 or so. I haven't found the service to be particularly friendly either which seems unusual for a longstanding mom-and-pop with loyal customers who have been coming for decades (I'm the third Marv's generation in my family). I do think it's sweet how they offer free coffee with any bakery purchase. It's by no means gourmet but it's a nice touch. They also sell some miscellany like cheeses, pickled goods, meats, etc. About half the physical space is all baked goods and the second half is the rest. I can't imagine anyone doing significant shopping here but if you needed an item conveniently you can get it here.

I saw an ad for a Grain Latte (mi-su-ga-ru) and was so curious how it would taste. I haven't noticed it anywhere else (other Korean bakeries), so had to make a trip just for the drink, along with their other goodies. Omg, from the first sip, I was transported back to my childhood. I used to drink the multigrain drink that would come in powder form. But this drink was elevated by the espresso. What a perfect combo! Now this latte isn't sweet, so if you are looking for sweet, this won't be the drink for you. I had my hubs try it out and said he could taste espresso with an aftertaste of the grains- not something he would order, himself. But I'm definitely going to! He ordered the pistachio latte and I could tell it's very different from other ps's I've had from Monday Coffee Club or from Yemeni coffee houses. It definitely has that light, Korean, nutty taste that isn't strong. The baked goodie, I'm happy to say, has expanded and they offer so much more than they did since my last review. They've added a few nice tables and chairs, so you don't have to leave to enjoy your pastries or coffee, unless there's no spots. Highly recommend Y if you enjoy desserts that's not too sweet.

There's plenty of parking but it does get quite busy on Saturday morning/noon. The place is pretty narrow and small. The offerings are nice but there were not many flaky pastries. I'm used to the huge glass case varieties from Tous les jours or Paris Baguette and love the flaky pastries or novelties the best! Yoon's was bread and bun heavy and their prices overall were higher (if you can believe it!). I did try this Cloud cake $6.50 that was out of this world good but the strawberry jam part was too sweet. The hazelnut cream sandwich loaf (3 small servings) was so beans good with my favorite type of cream that only Asian bakeries can get right! My only complaint is more cream, please!
