They did such a great job of celebrating me for my birthday with a glass of wine and a birthday card waiting for me. I loved walking into this place. It had such a cool vibe. They had a ton of things that were gluten-free that made my life easier, including fried calamari and artichokes, which were delicious. I had the Chef special which was cod and orzo. The cod was probably the best I've had in a really long time. The bartenders were so friendly so nice and really good at suggesting menu items. They had an extensive drink menu and the smoked old-fashioned smelled amazing although I didn't get that. I wasn't 100% impressed with my drinks, but that had nothing to do with the way that they were made just my personal preference. The next time I'm back in Akron, I will be stopping at Alexander Pierce for another meal.
