Stopped in for breakfast. Nice place. Clean dining area. Friendly staff. The breakfast I ordered was the basic eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. I like my eggs over easy they were cooked the way I like them not slimy. The bacon I ask to be crisp and it was. The hash browns were cooked fine not greasy and the wheat toast not burnt. Was very satisfied with the food and the place.

I'm not sure if these are Celiac friendly BUT they have amazing Gluten Free Chicken Tenders. They were crispy and moist, definitely seem house made. I am also in love with their potato salad. Also, GREAT RANCH. (It's the runny kind and definitely made in house) Additionally, someone in my party got the Matzo Ball Soup and said it was very delicious. Same with the Maurice Salad. Their Rice Pudding was incredible! They really do a wonderful job and I am grateful we have one on the east side

It has a cute, classic diner feel--nothing recently updated, but it was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. We brought our three young kids and ordered them each a kids meal: chicken tenders with fries, spaghetti, and a cheeseburger with fries. The portions were generous and we even had leftovers, but at $10 per kids meal, the pricing felt pretty steep. We started with the bread basket and pickles, which were both good. My husband ordered the Monterey Jack chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He first tried the chicken noodle soup but thought it had a sour aftertaste, so he switched to the beef barley, which unfortunately wasn't much better. His chicken entrée had good flavor, but it was just one thin, butterflied chicken breast. I ordered the New Yorker with fries, which I enjoyed--it was solid and satisfying. When the bill came to around $80, it just didn't feel justified for a deli/diner-style meal. Overall, the food was okay, but the pricing felt high for what you get--especially for a family outing. I might stop in again solo for a sandwich, but we likely won't be bringing the whole family back, mainly due to the cost of the kids meals.

They know many of the customers by name, as plenty of regulars dine here. There is typically a wait time to dine in during peak hours. The menu features numerous options for both breakfast and lunch. So much so, it's honestly hard to decide what to order. The corned beef egg rolls are a great way to start the meal, and are made in house. As for main course options, I've tried the "4th meal" and the breakfast club sandwich. The 4th meal is a breakfast quesadilla. It includes eggs, sausage, and American cheese, and is wrapped up in pancakes. The breakfast club sandwich is exactly what it sounds like. The bread is French toast, and the contents are fried eggs, bacon, ham, and American cheese. Both dishes were delicious. I heard nothing but great things about Yolk & Toast prior to my own experience. It's safe to say it lived up to the hype. I fully intend on returning to try more of the menu.
