Sliders with Onion Rings. No ketchup on a true slider.
    Brian L.

I live a good 30 minutes from this place and I don't get over to that area very often. Was at Partridge Creek Mall and that was a close enough of an excuse to go here to grab a bag of 6 sliders and some onions rings. They make a slider that is the closest thing I can recall to when I was kid growing up in Garden City and getting sliders from a place called Bray's. Anyway I always get the 6 and O-rings to go and always polish one off along with half the O-rings on the way home. That drive is to far to resist them. Just a quick heat up in the microwave when the craving calls for another one.

    Spinach Swiss and mushroom omelette

A gem, hidden in plain sight. The best big, pillowy, fresh omelets, sliders, salads, everything! The owner/chef quotes Escoffier methods and delivers! This spinach, mushroom and Swiss is 2 meals for me. Family owned and operated. 7-7 M-Sat, till 3 on Sundays

    Sliders. $1.49 each.

My boyfriend and I had Travis today for the first time in years! We walked in and the place was very empty but very clean! We were immediately seated and our drink order was taken very precisely. We got sack of sliders(6 sliders) and an order of chili cheese fries. The waitress made sure pickles and sautéed onion strings were good for our sliders and asked what cheese we wanted too- even though we both agreed on american cheese. The Chili Cheese fries were $3 and could easily feed 3 people. I got liquid cheese on it but had the option of shredded cheese. Smoking hot! Very yummy and the fries weren't soggy at all from the chili and cheese. Sliders were awesome! The bun was fresh and very soft. Our sliders were cooked to our liking. Burger patty wasn't burned and the onions and pickles didn't slide off which each bite, definitely a bonus! $15 for two pops, sack of sliders and an order of chili cheese fries. You can't go wrong with that. Prices are extremely reasonable and they have daily specials and a lengthy decent menu. I left full and with leftovers in hand. I'll definitely be back!

    Spoiled clumpy disgusting cheese sauce.

I wanted to believe this place had turned a corner after being featured on Bar Rescue, but what I…read moreobserved afterward made it clear that whatever changes were made did not stick. Responsible alcohol service did not appear to be a priority. It was common to see visibly intoxicated patrons continue to be served, sometimes to the point where their condition was hard to ignore, and then leave without any meaningful intervention. That alone raises serious concerns about community safety. Operationally, there seemed to be very little oversight. Staff were regularly left to close the bar without an owner or manager present, despite the volume of cash moving through the business. Inventory tracking appeared inconsistent, with many items rung in under vague or generic categories rather than clearly documented. From a customer perspective, it felt chaotic and loosely managed. There also seemed to be a culture of excessive comping of drinks and blurred boundaries between ownership and patrons, which created an unprofessional atmosphere. Instead of structure and accountability, the environment felt improvised. What ultimately changed my perception permanently was how a legitimate health issue was handled. When I was unable to come in due to a serious medical situation and communicated that honestly, the response escalated quickly and aggressively rather than being handled with professionalism. That experience alone made it clear that people are disposable here. If you're looking for a bar that prioritizes responsible service, professionalism, and consistent management standards, I would think carefully before choosing this one. The optics may look improved from television, but the underlying culture did not appear to change.

I want to love this place, but I can only like it. The food is too hit and miss for me to "not be…read moreable to wait" until my next visit. I'll eat here, but not as often as i would if they polished up their menu/execution. The chicken dishes, all of them, are terrible. They advertise "tender chicken cut into slices," but if you look at any of the pics on here, it's all the same - tiny, little chicken bits, dry and overcooked. The more obscure dishes are the way to go. They fail hard on the basics, but hit home runs on their more unheard of menu items. If you've never heard of something, but it sounds good - that's what you should order here. Chicken lemon rice: 3/10 Not enough chicken, lemon tastes artificial and weird, soup is bland. I've had better CLR at most any coney island. Chicken Gyro: 3/10 Chicken was dry, the orzo was dry and overcooked, tziki sauce was thick and lacked flavor. Plenty of chicken... I would have rather had less chicken, cooked better. I haven't seen their chicken kabob, but it seems like this place uses the thick part of their breast for the kabobs, and uses the scraps bits for all of their other dishes. Grape Leaves: 7/10 Good flavor, good sauce... wish the CLR soup tasted as good as the sauce from the grape leaves. Stifado: 9/10 Excellent dish. Good amount of beef, great flavor, nice stew. This is the dish that I would come back for. Bread basket: Bread: 4/10 - they serve the bread ice cold. Olive oil: 9/10 - excellent flavor, super light, nice lemon zest Service: 8.5/10 - good job. They had one guy for all 8 or so tables, but did he did a good job covering them. The busser/assistant did a good job at keeping our waters and bread full, but he tries to carry too much, and it causes a big distraction (glasses clunking, nearly falling over, re-stacking)... sometimes two trips is better than one... He also says "of course" (pet peeve) when someone says "thank you." Perhaps I'm weird, but I find that terribly dismissive, and off-putting.

Everyone enjoyed their food and the food sizing were perfect especially with the pricing (average pricing for bar food). I ordered a philly steak sub w/ seasoned fries and along with chips/spinach dip (that was a meal itself and it came with 2 breadsticks) - it was so good. What i did notice was my friend order a side salad for additional $1.99 but her friend ordered a salad as meal which cost about $15.00 - i would say they looked like the same size; so be aware. Plenty of parking! If i had to go back i'll definitely would but the distance from my house i wouldn't go out my way. There are ALOT of TVs with music videos and sports; you can barely hear the music playing which is good i guess especially since you want to be able to touch to your friends. Happy Eating!

I tried a small order of the boneless garlic parmesan wings. They were pretty good, standard wings. I also ordered the habanero burger. The fried cream cheese patty thing was unique and amazing! I also learned they are owned by the same company as Texas Roadhouse and hear that the inside has similar loud and family friendly vibes.
