If he doesn't get it right the first time he will certainly get it right quickly the second time! My roommate who is a former handyman was impressed with his skill at replacing the glass in an antique multi-paned window. While he was at it he even sanded the door where it was too tight and re-painted the area. That wasn't even requested, he just took the initiative! You can tell he is a knowledgable, nice and honest guy. One time he had his son with him, who was well behaved. I think it's great when you can take your kid to work with you. I can tell he is a responsible family guy. I bet his son learns a lot by his example. This is the third time we've had him over and certainly our first choice for next time, we would have had to pay way more had we called a plumber! Please disregard the review from Ron (below), nearly every review he leaves is 1-star so I'm guessing he's the kind of person that doesn't ever have anything positive to say.

Joe and his team at JR's just completed a full tear-out and remodel of our kitchen, and the results…read morespeak for themselves. The scope of the project was extensive: all new semi custom cabinets, a new island, and new perimeter countertops, along with a complete replacement of our appliances some of which we wanted flush mounted (easier said than done). One of the trickier pieces was retrofitting a range hood, which added a fair amount of complexity to the install, but the team handled it without missing a beat. What really set this project apart was the level of coordination among everyone involved. Every craftsman on the job communicated clearly with one another, and just as importantly, Joe stayed in steady contact with my wife and me throughout the process. That kind of teamwork kept the project moving efficiently from start to finish, with minimal delays and no surprises. Even when we were out of town for part of the renovation, we never felt out of the loop as Joe sent regular updates with photos and progress notes, so we always knew exactly where things stood. The end result is a kitchen that's both beautifully finished and highly functional, and the process to get there was refreshingly smooth. If you're considering a kitchen remodel, don't hesitate to reach out to JR's, you'll be in good hands from demo day to final walkthrough.

He was on time and he started drilling without following my instructions of using my previous drill…read moremarks as a guide for where to drill (just not in the exact spot but next to the mark) since I had done accurate measurements. Now the curtain is an inch from the floor. He drilled the holes before asking me how I was hanging them but that would only cause about a half inch difference. I'm not sure he's hung curtains before because the rod on each end is in alignment with the window and decorators use 1-3 " from the window. My marks were about an inch away from the window on either side. The job took an hour for $125 which seems high. After he left I found the right bracket holding the rod wasn't flush to the wall. This was my original issue and that's why I had contacted him to come out. I was told the wall was plaster and I think that's why he charged more because it's a pain to deal with. Turns out it was sheet rock. Anyway, I will be moving the rod out to accommodate a wider curtain and I'll probably move it down to where it should be so it was a waste of money.
