Mike was great to work with and answered all my questions timely and with very clear expertise. The popcorn ceilings had asbestos in them, and ADS coordinated seamlessly to have Synergy Enterprise Inc. take the asbestos materials off and perform the abatement process safely. Mike's team - Dillon, Greg, and Fernando - did an absolutely beautiful job. The finished product has very evident attention to detail, the new ceiling texturing is consistent and beautiful, and they left the place clean afterwards. Their workmanship is top notch. I also had them do some drywall work in one of the bedrooms, removing some wood paneling and putting up drywall. This work was also done flawlessly, despite the wood paneling being a hassle and messy to remove. I would highly recommend their work to anyone needing ceiling or drywall work done. I used the Yelp app and met with 4 painters. One was booked until Nov, one declined the bid since he was paint only and limited carpentry, one gave a really high bid, and then there was Felix who we eventually chose. Felix was perhaps the most transparent in terms of work scope and he took the time to measure and estimate how much wood and siding would be needed. He also has teams of both carpenters and painters so he does dry rot repair and painting. They also use ladders with fall protection for the high places, as opposed to scaffolds which would of course add more cost. The whole job took 2 weeks - 4 days of prep, and 3 days of painting using mostly sprays and hand painting of siding. Very professional job and 5 stars: 1. Daily communications by text and updates 2. Thorough covering of windows and doors 3. Clean work area after each day 4. Extra credit for getting rid of loose wiring, the previous owner's dish, and fixing a broken gate 5. Honest and transparent pricing - we had a change order since during prep, more dry rot was found than at first glance. Highly recommend Felix for your exterior wood repair and painting needs.
