I was advised at the time by my salesman and sales managers to take possession of the vehicle and drive it for a few weeks prior to making an appointment to see if there were any other concerns. I did so and called to make my appointment Feb 17th 2026. I was notified at that time there were no available loaner vehicles and that I was put on the waitlist approximately 2 weeks long. Mar 6th 2026 I called to check the status and was told it would be a little longer. In this time I found several other issues that were covered in a TSB. After several weeks of not hearing back I then called again Apr 3rd 2026 and found out the service advisor I was previously working with was no longer there and I was no longer on the Loaner list. I asked to be put back on the list and was advised it would be some time before my vehicle would be taken in. June 15th I was called and told there was a loaner available. I dropped my vehicle off June 17th 2026 received a loaner vehicle that I was told COULD NOT BE DRIVEN MORE THAN 1000 MILES! My vehicle was dropped off to them for a burning coolant smell, body panel misalignments, rattle under dash, faulty capless fuel filler neck, and a external storage compartment that was not water tight. After 30 days I called as we were approaching the 1000 mile limit on the loaner vehicle and was told that my truck was almost completed. Service advisor Riley G. called a few days later and told me my truck was done. I drove over ready to get my truck back and saw that they completely botched all body repairs. Paint drips galore, dirt under fresh paint, even worse panel alignment, and scratches all the way through the paint. I refused to accept the vehicle as it was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. At this time I learned that none of the other concerns had been addressed. They scrambled to find me another loaner. I was then put into a loaner but with no mileage restrictions. Third week of July Riley called and told me they broke my windshield but "had no idea how" but the rest of the work was completed. First week of August goes by with no new windshield. Second week no new windshield but they desperately needed the loaner back as I had put "too many" miles on it. 3rd week no windshield, at this point I requested to see my vehicle to confirm all other repairs were completed. NOTHING WAS DONE. Bumper off, panels still not aligned, windshield was clearly broken by a tech who wasn't paying attention (the source of the crack was one of the misaligned panels they had tried to adjust). Nothing done about the rattle or the burning coolant smell. And yet they demanded I take possession of my truck with the broken windshield with a written promise that the dealership will replace it when a new one arrives. Throughout the months I have been asking to speak with the manager (spoke once with Ginger who had absolutely no idea what was going on) asked for the GM multiple times, left more than a dozen voicemails and never got a return call. Then September 1st I get a call that the windshield is in. I head over first thing on the 2nd and was assured that my truck would have priority and would be there for no more than 2 hours. I left the truck and returned 3 hours later only to find out they hadn't even started on it. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the past 2 years and was the sole reason multiple family and friends purchased from them. This Dealership has gone to absolute hell. No one cares about the customer. No one cares how much they disrupt your life. Both babymoon and make up vacations were canceled due to not being able to take the loaner out of state. Not a ounce of anything from them. Absolute 0 stars. No wonder they have a D- from the BBB. You'd get better service from a buy here pay here lot.

My vehicle has very low mileage, a great economical vehicle that has been well maintained. However, I only had liability, high probability the insurance would not cover my vehicle. The other vehicle, which came into my lane, left the scene. I was attempting to avoid a head on collision. No witnesses! Four days passed and my adjuster had not been in to see the vehicle. The local junk car dealer told me Eli's would be charging me a daily $20.00 storage fee; he was deducting that amount from the price he was offering me. With that information, I quickly decided to move the vehicle to a friend's house and wait for adjuster. When I arrived at Eli's, to meet the tow truck driver, I couldn't see my vehicle. I went inside looking and asking for my vehicle. I was very impressed with the staff. Even though the staff knew the vehicle was going to be totaled, they had moved my vehicle to a covered area because it was raining. The staff was protecting the interior of the vehicle. When I went inside the office to take care of the bill, they did not charge me for storage. All I paid was the wrecker fee. I was quite impressed with the staff. Hope you have a great experience with them as well. Diana E

Cannot say enough about the service or parts department at this dealer. They have always treated me…read morewith the utmost respect. The service department gets your car in, diagnosed, and repaired all in a timely fashion. They keep you informed of their progress and if there are any issues, they call immediately to discuss them with you. If it is something that is their fault, they don't try to cover it up or hide it, they tell you about it and then correct it, period. With the parts department, I once asked them about switching out a factory radio with one that had built in XM. This was when XM was still new. The parts manager and service manager were both unsure if it could be done as the particular car I owned had the master computer built into the stereo ( an idiotic move on GM's part that only lasted two years, 2005 - 2006). They told me they would look into it and sure enough, about two weeks later, I got a phone call explaining my options. At the time, they weren't worth it, but now the price is much more reasonable, however, I gave the car to my daughter, so I no longer need that service. I can't talk about the sales department as I haven't had much experience with them, but I will say that, even though I specifically told two different salesmen (on seperate days) that I was not in the market for a new vehicle, I was just browsing while waiting, both salesmen stayed handy and gladly and pleasantly answered all questions I did have. I highly recommend, if you want factory GM service, take your vehicle here, and from the little attention I got from them, I'd at least recommend talking to them if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle.

If I could give zero stars I would. Started out fine and friendly enough, I wanted a Buick Envision…read moreand they had an AWESOME deal posted online. When we started running the numbers they started talking about me having to pay taxes on my trade in which I knew was a red flag because it's part of the total transaction. Then they come out with the initial quote and they "forgot" the posted total discount amount so that was wrong. Then I start looking at all these add on costs. $500 for a lifetime battery. $200 for wheel locks. $1000 for a paint protector they already put on and will still need to do a second coat of. $700 for window tint. None of this was posted online. And it was conveniently not brought up at all in the initial convo or test drive (I would have laughed my ass off and walked away if someone told me I would be charged $200 for wheel locks and told me it was a dealbreaker, that they wouldn't take them off or remove the cost). None of this was on the main sticker, and again not posted online. Then they tell me they can't remove it because they would be out 3K. Okay, well maybe that should have been considered before you posted a discount amount online. You went too hard on the discount and now you are just trying to make it back with add-on fees and that is not my problem, nor should that be on the customer. They refused to take off even the $500 lifetime battery or $200 for wheel locks so I left letting them know I was not happy, not that I would have agreed to any of the add ons anyway and then FINALLY I get a text about oh I am very sorry I didn't go over those with you during the test drive, I usually do cover it when I start with numbers, it is technically on the windshield and its still a great deal for you! (I get a picture of the tiny print posted dead center in the middle upper section of the windshield...) They should not be allowed to post that big of a discount online without also posting what other add-ons will be added to the cost of the car if they are a hard limit. That makes the total cost they show you online false advertising. And even if they can get away with that then at least tell people when scheduling so you aren't wasting their time, because the back and forth sitting at the dealership is annoying enough. Long story short this dealership is false advertising their inventory online, and scamming people with add-ons to fix their bad calls. NOT TO MENTION WHO THE HELL WOULD PAY $200 FOR WHEEL LOCKS, WTF?!

I wanted to give San Marcos CDJR a fair opportunity because my family has purchased multiple…read morevehicles from this dealership over the years, including my wife's Jeep Compass. Because of that history, I expected a more transparent and customer-focused experience. Unfortunately, the process was disappointing. I was clear from the beginning about what I was looking for and asked to review realistic options before spending time in-store. Instead, much of the interaction felt focused on getting me to come in or submit an application before providing meaningful preliminary numbers. I understand that not every deal can work, and I am not upset simply because the numbers did not line up. My concern is the way the process was handled. I repeatedly asked for clear information on vehicle options, pricing structure, payment estimates, and whether the vehicles being discussed actually matched what I was looking for. The communication felt vague at times, and when numbers were finally discussed, the option presented did not align with what I had clearly asked for. What would have made a difference was a more direct approach: "Here is what can work, here is what cannot work, and here are the realistic options." Instead, I felt like I had to keep pushing for basic clarity. Given my family's history with the dealership, I expected better communication and a stronger effort to walk through the options in a straightforward way. I appreciate the salesperson's time, but overall this was a less than desirable experience and did not feel as customer-focused as I had hoped.
