The bus GLI1415, the back half of the bus, fully packed and the front is exactly the same.

If your are worried about COVID - DO NOT RIDE GREYHOUND. They could care less about social distancing. They have the bus packed, 2 random strangers sitting next to each other. Majority had on facemask, but as usually about 15 folks has the mask on their chin. When you check in, they don't ask about sickness, take temps or anything. All this company cares about is there money. Try FlixBus or take an Amtrak- its about the same price. Can't see myself using this company again. My expectations with Greyhound wasn't that high anyway, but on their website they talk about the safety measures they are taking/ NONE. . When I left Fresno CA on Thurs, the bus ride was also packed. So this has been round trip.

I am in Phoenix for training and due to a schedule change, couldn't get a rental or flight down to Tucson (hometown). My only other choice was good ol' Greyhound. Yes you hear horror stories of the area, people who "hang" out there but hey I gotta get past that so I can go about my day. I came a day earlier to scope the place out, make sure this was the departing location, yes theres another one. When I arrived, I looked to the right of me and there were two kiosks and a lady behind the counter. I approached her and Gloria gave me the 411. She was nice and helpful. Fast forward today, I arrived and greeted her. She said Good Morning and remembered from previous day. Also stop by the Cactus Cafe to see what goodies they had to smack on. Rosa was refilling the cooler and as well greeted me with a welcoming good morning and helped me with items there. So yes if you are able to not interact with your surroundings, your good.

On March 7th, 2020 at 4:25 PM one of the drivers, Mohamed, racially profiled two black women waiting in line. This was the bus going from Phoenix to Los Angeles. A woman was helping another pregnant woman with her bags, they were not traveling together. The driver accused the woman who was helping with the bags of recording him while she was FaceTiming her friend. My friend who I was traveling with me tried to explain this to the driver and security when he let us cut them in line and he told her, "Don't advocate for situations you do not understand." They had called security on the two women prior before my friend stepped in. This is a clear indication of racial profiling as the driver allowed people to board first before the two black women after this altercation. He then allowed the woman who he accused of recording him to board the bus provided she, " Sit in the back of the bus and stay quiet." I will be filing a formal complaint with the head office supervisor.

What a joke. Called the numbers, nobody answered and nobody returned my calls.

In case anyone at Greyhound cares, this happened on Thursday, March 7th, 2019 at 12:49 pm. I will never take a Greyhound bus again because of my experience at this bus station... First of all, the TV's that list the arriving and departing buses aren't accurate. They list buses that have already left the station and they don't even indicate when a bus is boarding. My bus was supposed to leave from gate #2, so I waited where I could see the people at gate #2 90 minutes before my bus was scheduled to leave. They did not announce when my bus arrived or, as I found out later, when it was boarding or departing. 10 minutes after my bus was supposed to depart, I asked the Greyhound boarding attendant what was going on. The person I spoke with, Jimmy, said it just left. I asked him why he didn't announce it and he said "Didn't you see how busy I was? I didn't have time to announce it." So I asked Jimmy how I was supposed to know when to board and he said when I saw the other people boarding. But I pointed out that nobody had boarded anything at gate #2 people were still standing there. Jimmy just walked away from me. Then when I talked to his manager, Jimmy lied and said he announced it. He didn't. Nobody did. They told me the next bus would be there in 15 minutes and that I could take that bus. It didn't arrive for another hour. And when it did, no announcements. To add insult to injury, they had a sign that said they cared so much about customer service that they had 2 managers listed with their phone numbers. I called both, nobody answered either, I left a message on both and neither of them returned my call. And, as a side note, the electrical outlets and the WiFi did not work on my bus.

They tell me to step out wen I'm waiting on my bus and this people been here more than 2 hrs

Thank goodness there was a Better Alternative!!! I spoke with Sebastian who was bilingual and local in a US call center I asked if he spoken English and with a half second with clear understanding he confirmed that he spoke English. I explained to him my friends' last minute problem at greyhound. 1. He acknowledged the situation immediately and put me on hold. He came back with Clear Cut instructions and information from his direct supervisor of what Tufesa would do for the passenger. 2. I was able to merger the calls and he calmed the passenger distress with his voice with clear instructions of location and direction. Explaining where the station was and it gave him time to get to the station on 27th avenue. 3. Sebastian confirmed his ticket purchase text and said that Tufesa had plenty of room for him and other passengers. That was probably the greatest experience I've have seen of a competitor bus company. The service was clean and easy and I appreciate your empathy towards the people you serve as a service company! Give Tufesa a try when traveling abroad and remember this experience will help others know that there are alternatives other than the greyhound. I purchased 4 tickets through the official Tufesa app on February 20, 2026 (Receipt #1851-3109, total $168.48). At the time of purchase I selected seats 13, 14, 15 and 16 so my daughters and I could sit together, including one minor passenger. We arrived at the Phoenix terminal about two hours before departure, and at the ticket window staff confirmed that our QR codes were valid for boarding. However, when boarding began, we were suddenly told that our names were not on the passenger list. We were sent back to the ticket window even though we showed: * QR tickets * payment receipt * confirmation purchased weeks earlier We were left standing over 30 minutes while the bus was preparing to leave. During this time, an employee who identified herself only as "Alejandra" or "Alejandrina" behaved in a very rude and dismissive manner, blaming us for purchasing tickets through the mobile app and refusing to provide her full name when asked. While we were still at the terminal trying to resolve the issue, we suddenly received a notification in the system showing different seat numbers (31, 34, 27, 38) instead of the seats we originally purchased. This clearly indicates that our original seats were reassigned at the last minute. We were then forced to board with separate seats at the back of the bus, even after explaining that one passenger was a minor who needed to sit with a parent. This situation raises serious concerns regarding: * confirmed tickets not being honored * possible seat resale or overbooking * extremely poor customer service at the Phoenix location * lack of accountability from staff I have documented the incident with screenshots of the payment receipt, ticket folios, and seat reassignment, and I have submitted a formal complaint. I hope the company reviews what happened at the Phoenix terminal and ensures that confirmed reservations are respected in the future.

I only live a couple of miles from a Valley Metro light rail stop, so I can lift or uber over for cheap if I need to use this system last minute. Usually when I am doing a 2-4 day trip, I park over at one of the airport shuttle locations outside of Sky Harbor airport and ride in. If I am going on a long trip overseas, I will ask someone to drop me off and pick me up. This light rail option is my last resort option if no one is available or if I just don't feel like paying to park at the airport. The nice thing about the Valley Metro/Sky Train is that it is cheap. It is only $2 to ride the light rail. Yes, you are dealing with the interesting characters that ride the light rail if you go this route. But it is a small price to pay to make a budget friendly trip. The bad thing about using this is that you cannot leave your car overnight at a Valley Metro park-n-ride. So leaving your car there and going away for a few days is not an option. Unless you want to come back and find out that your car was towed. The other thing is that it can take awhile to get to the airport on the light rail. So you have to plan ahead to make sure you arrive at your gate on time.
