He has always been very understanding and flexible when changes have had to be made last minute and I always trust him to get our group home safe. I would leave 0 stars but that wasn't an option. We paid $600 total for a bus ride we never got ($100 deposit + $400 for the trip and an advanced $100 tip.) Back story: We reserved the bus in May 2023 to take some family and friends to the Morgan Wallen concert. Arizona Bus Company confirmed a 3:30-4pm pick up with their driver Richie. Sometime around 4pm Richie called and said there was a ton of traffic and he was running late - ok cool, no worries right? (Spoiler alert, there are several more worries to come.) Then we got a call that the bus broke down/overheated down the street from our pickup address, so we patiently waited as he said he needed it to cool down. (Again, ok, that's understandable in this AZ heat.) After waiting over an hour and getting no answer from Richie, we texted him to tell him we were just going to drive since our concert was going to start soon and we live an hour away with traffic. So the 16 of us all got into 3 separate cars and drove ourselves and had to pay almost $100 per car for parking (which is one of the reasons we booked the bus!) It wasn't a huge deal that we had to drive, we all just decided okay, we'll get a refund since they never came right? I mean we paid for services that were never received so it only makes sense they would refund us right?! I mean that's what any respectable company would do... Arizona Bus Company has the audacity to try and fight us on this and NOT refund our money. We even tried fighting the charge with the bank and lost. SO, if you would like to hire a bus company to take you and your family/friends somewhere DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT hire Arizona Bus Company! This company failed to follow through with a commitment, made us late to our concert and we missed one of our favorite bands (sorry Bailey Zimmerman), and now these soulless humans really have to audacity to keep our hard earned money for a service that we never received. I can *maybe* see keeping the $100 deposit - but the problem was on your end, not ours like a last minute cancellation on our part. So as a reasonable consumer and the daughter of a family owned company, we feel the ONLY way to make this right is to issue a full refund ASAP. And if not, then I hope you've seen the TV series My Name is Earl - cause karma is a b!tch and I will rest easy knowing that you'll get yours one day. Side note: if this review is up, they haven't refunded us. Which we were also okay with. However, when waiting for our ride to take us home, owner of the company had terrible communication and was over an hour late. I've been texting and calling with James on and off for a while trying to find out some ideas of prices/times/ideas to take the bus to for an upcoming bachelorette I'm planning. He has been nothing but patient and helpful, giving lots of suggestions and letting me take the time to figure things out with my indecisive bride :P ultimately we decided just based on other events and things she wants to do to not go with a party bus anymore, but if we were going to do that I would definitely go through with this company and would use in the future. The prices were also much more affordable then other party bus places, and also allowed a slightly less hour minimum and overall seemed more flexible and stress-free to go this route. The bus was great, James was nice. Unfortunately, the bus was late for both our rides. We have rented a boat on Lake Pleasant, and missed 30 mins of our reservation because the bus was late to pick us up. However, James did refund us some money because of this. James runs a good business and cares about his customers. I understand the prior group might have caused the delays, but that's not our problem. That's a scheduling issue that falls on the company - don't schedule two rides so close. read more

Unfortunately for us, the A/C on the bus was on the fritz, so we had 12 people crammed into this sweltering hot-box. It was 108 degrees outside and we were sliding the windows open to cool it off inside, which tells you how miserable it got in there. We starting making jokes about being border-jumping refuges crammed in the back of a coyotes Uhaul :-) The bus was clean and fit 12 of us comfortably, and we picked up 2 more on the way back which got things a bit crowded at 14 passengers. James really came through for our night out! ABC was by far the least expensive of the 6+ party bus companies I called in the Phoenix area. He arrived exactly on time and let us play our own music in the back of the bus and never batted an eye or made any comments about our....dancing :). James was cool with us switching the pickup location in the middle of our night out and picked us up 20 minutes away from what we originally requested, meaning he was flexible even night-of. This was the best party bus experience ever! It was a surprise for my sister's 21st birthday and her friends. James was extremely flexible with us and our last minute schedule changes. He had no problem making multiple stops for us. We had a party of 15 and everyone was comfortable and the surround system was great! He also provided an ice chest which was very convenient! The bus is very clean and was nice and cool in this 100°+ weather. My biggest compliment was the he was very responsive (to my million questions) and communicative. We were on the bus last night that had no air conditioning. See Laura O's review from 8/12/17. Driver was late picking us up and the ride was a "sweat box". After the ball game, it took over 40 minutes for us to finally get a location from him and then "WE" had to walk to the driver because he said he could not get past barricades. There were plenty of cars driving past us on the corner that we had previously agreed to wait of ball field, so he definitely didn't try very hard! We ended up walking another two blocks to get to where he was waiting. Once we got on the bus, the air was still warm inside. It was empty as we entered, so the amount of people was NOT the problem with the AC. After only a few minutes upon departure, the driver slammed on the brakes so hard that all of us went flying forward. A few were injured and needed medical attention. Upon arrival back to the house, the driver could not provide insurance information. We did get a copy of drivers license and pictures of one of the injured's cut and bruised elbow. About a half an hour after the driver left, one of our injured friends started getting very offensive texts that insulted religions, races and included name calling!! We are a very review conscious group of people and we do YELP......I rely on these reviews and trust what they say. Please do yourself a favor and do not even THINK about using this company for any type of business. I saw the texts and the phone number the texts were coming from, it was the same one my husband (point of contact) was using to communicate with this company after he dropped us off. They are denying ever sending these insults....what a joke!!! read more

A Group of friends and I decided to use Arizona bus company yesterday to go to the Diamondbacks game. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. The driver was late arriving for pick up, the air conditioner was not working properly and it was very warm inside the vehicle. The party bus was dirty and sticky. After the game we waited for 40 minutes for the bus to arrive. We then had to walk two blocks to meet the bus instead of the bus coming to us. Once we started driving the driver slammed on the brakes causing a few people to fall forward. My wife was injured on her neck and elbow. She saw her doctor today and needs to go again next week. This was all bad enough but I later learned that a representative of Arizona bus company had text another man in our party with inappropriate and offensive language. Comments were made about religion and sexual orientation. This is very disturbing. How can a company operate with this kind of customer service? My step daughter used this bus service for her prom night. I was told that she had a horrendous experience using this company. Upon arriving on the bus, the bus driver Sharon was vaping, and held a dog in one hand during the entire duration of the ride. My step daughter and her friends also had to wait for 20 minutes past the end of the prom (11:20pm) in an unsafe area, which I feel is unacceptable since their group requested pick up at the location at 10pm (an hour before the end of the program). When they were picked up after the program, upon getting on the bus, my step daughter's group noticed an opened condom left on one of the seats. Again, I feel this is absolutely inappropriate for a bus full of teenagers, at a prom night no less. Also, I was informed by my step daughter that they left a hydro flask with Sharon before going to the prom, not wanting to take the hydro flask with them. When they were asking for it on the ride back, Sharon allegedly gave it to another party. I feel that given all these things mentioned above, this was really very unprofessional and will NEVER use the Arizona Bus Company again. read more
