It was a very long day so be prepared if you want to go. The seats in the van are small so a large person probably could not do it there were 10 passengers. The passenger seat seats were like this: front row seats-3 across, 2nd row-2 across, 3rd row-2 across, back row-4 across. There was 1 cup holder per row and there was wifi and phone chargers. An ice chest with bottled water was also provided . gratuities are not included. We had a nice day but you are in the van traveling most of the day

I first heard about this company last month in a copy of What's Happening and was over the moon excited to take Adam on the Walking Ghost Tour downtown. We were both excited. But both tour times were sold out, which actually worked for the best because of a scheduling change. So, I emailed the company, heard back promptly about an additional tour date in September, and daily checked their site for the ghost tour to be added. You can bet that I jumped on those tickets immediately. And it was a wonderful, suspenseful evening. The tour is as much a history of downtown Phoenix as it is a walking ghost hunter expedition. We kicked off at Hilton Garden Inn (the former Professional Building cum Valley National Bank tower) on their 13th Floor bar and outdoor deck. The views were spooktacular! Hearing about the strange past of the building was a great. [I'd only previously known about its claim to fame as having one of the largest rotating neon signs.] Next stop: Renaissance Hotel. Did you know that corner was once home to the Adams Hotel, which burned to the ground in the hottest recorded fire in the city's history? Neither did I. Ever wonder how Ren came up with the name of their speakeasy? I sure was clueless. But I'll leave the answer to that one to the tour guides who take you in this adventure. After about 90 minutes and other site visits, we concluded our tour. None of my photos revealed any ghosts, but Adam--who is a horror buff, like me--and I really enjoyed our experience. I'm looking forward to their upcoming tours, especially of the Orpheum! With Halloween fast approaching, I couldn't think of many other experiences to truly delight in the odd and haunting history of my city.

At the end of the day, though, everyone in our group agreed that it was well worth the price (and, particularly if you're coming from the East Coast, you're going to be awake early anyway!). Our guide, Jon, made sure that everything ran as efficiently as it possibly could have. Not only did he ensure that we hit all of the Park highlights, but he took us away from the biggest crowds to show us views that were true " hidden gems." Jon was so knowledgable on the history, the environment, and other facts related to the area that we could not have enjoyed it more. Truly an experience of a lifetime!
