I was referred to enterprise by my insurance company. I have to say that I had a great experience. Billy got us all checked in, was able to offer a free up grade, showed us the working of the vehicle and was friendly as well as professional. Their driver, Alex, that picked us up from Crash Champions to get our Enterprise rental and drove us back after returning the rental was so pleasant. Tucker checked us out and was equally efficient and personable as the rest of the individuals I interacted with. I would recommend this Enterprise service site to anyone. read more

I rent from this location frequently (almost every month) and have always had a great experience. Logan is always super helpful and Billie has been as well. They always have the vehicle I need and I'm in/out usually in about 10 min if it isn't busy. If it's busy, it's worth the wait and has never been more than 20 minutes in my experience. read more

Long waits. They rarely answer the phone, they don't have enough vehicles for scheduled customers, and they are not likely able to pick you up until later. If you must use them, try to reach someone in advance to request they call you before you head to their location to ensure your vehicle is ready. This was the third poor experience over the past 2 years. They blame short staff each time. Today I waited just over an hour for standerd sedan. Last time there was issue with the size SUV I needed so I had to wait long time for one to be driven to us. On a positive note, they make an effort to discount or upgrade to make up for the inconveniences. I don't believe the issues are due to the staff, and I feel bad for them. I've been in accident whos driver's at fault using your Rental car. I called them and was provided with a claim number and was told to wait 10 days for someone to get back to us but nobody called is so I tried reaching them and says there's no adjuster assigned on the claim. I mean what the heck what did you do in 10 days. So they keep pushing me into different numbers which no one will answer. My next move is to get a lawyer coz they just ignore my claims Enterprise sucks when it comes to this they're only into making money. read more

I just can't. First off I have a lifted Jeep so when I travel on business I rent cars. This was my first experience using the local Ahwatukee Enterprise location and thought it would be perfect since it is literally blocks from my house. So I could get going first thing the next day and make sure I would have a car, I placed my reservation online the day before. When you place your order they ask for time of pick up. This location doesn't open til 8am so I said 8am. I figured if I filled out everything online it would be minimal time at the rental facility and I could be off within 15 minutes- putting me on time for my appointment. I should have know something was up when I got to the lot early and the parking lot was empty. At 8 o'clock I tried the door and it was locked. A gentlemen came out and unlocked and let me in just to say to me that he would rather still be in bed. Whatever. I told them right away that I had a reservation and the desk girl already had my name queued up so that made me happy. Here is where things went down. Desk girl informed me that the car reserved for me was out for an oil change and wouldn't be back for a bit so I would have to wait. Out for an oil change at 8am?! I seriously started to meltdown. I eventually asked if they had any other car at any price I could rent. No I was told. They only had one other car (this beat up burgundy mini-van) and it was already reserved for someone else. 2 CARS?! 2 CARS to offer. I will never use this location again. If in Phoenix take the time to go over to Sky Harbor Airport for rentals. Now that I am traveling more I am renting a couple times a month and I will give everyone else a try over Enterprise. If they run their satellite offices so poorly how do they expect us to want to use them in other locations? read more

Well where to start! So booked an online and got to the location. Mind you I have no car and I have my 6month old daughter with me! Got to the location and it was closed call customer service and was told they didn't have time to contact us and that we should go to another branch across town! We are walking! So we decided to call a Lyft to drive us to the next location. Got there wait another 20-30 minute outside! I live in Phoenix, Arizona it's flipping hot out here. Finally they let us in and told us we couldn't rent a vehicle because of our debit card! So angry that we just left and called another Lyft to take us home! Never again! read more

I rented a car for a weekend trip to LA for a funeral. During my drive out of state (I had been traveling for about an hour) I got a flat tire on the freeway. I explained to roadside service that I don't feel comfortable driving to California on an undersized spare tire so they directed me to the nearest enterprise location to exchange the car. Once I got there I was told they didn't have any cars for me to swap with, they only have cars for "their customers". That felt like a slap in the face since the name on the building said Enterpise rentals. After filling my flat tire with air they sent me to Discount tire shop (whom they have a working relationship with) to see if they can fix or replace the tire. I drove about 4 miles to discount tire on a tire that was leaking air by the seconds. After arriving they told me they could take care of me but it would be about a 2 hour wait. Great! Another delay. Exactly 2 hours later, I was on the road again going back to Cali. Fast forward, time to return the car back to the Ahwatukee Enterprise location where I originally rented from. While I was waiting in line to return the car Tyler noticed & commented that I looked tired. I explained the weekend that I had to him and his concern was evident. Tyler immediately jumped on the computer and compensated me for the inconvenience. Tylers actions were unexpected but very appreciated. After a long weekend he made a tough trip feel little better. This is one of my favorite locations the company always seems to have great branch managers and staff here. The last two times I have worked with Ryan K. and Issak C. And they were awesome. One time I had a super last minute request for particular type of vehicle. And as usual these guys never fail they said ok give me a few and call me back and they located and got me exactly what I wanted even after the website said no vehicle were available. This rental car office for Enterprise is fantastic. Enterprise onlinr office twice dropped the ball on a reservation that I had made but I thought I'd give them one more chance, and this office has turned it all around. Particularly Andrew, who has managed to fulfill and exceed my expectations. So I am renting for the second time this month. They were accommodating enough to allow me to give them the Uber receipt to get to the office from my home. Normally they pick you up but it was a weekend and they are busy. I'd never used this branch before, but the rental was arranged by the fleet service. Being a responsible consumer, I read reviews prior to heading there. The reviews were appalling! I prepared for the worst! On the contrary, I was very pleasantly surprised upon entering the door to be welcomed by Sherveen! His smile was genuine, and he exuded such warmth that I was instantly pleased. On the way to the vehicle, I inquired about the horrible reviews, and confessed how surprised I was at his kind demeanor. Rented a pick up from this location about 2 weeks ago to take care of some work around the house. Ordered a mid size pick up and they gave me a full size at no extra cost, yes pls. Pickup was nice and clean, only 7000 miles on it and was awesome to drive. Then when I had finished with it for the day, I dropped it back at this location. As I was handing the keys back to them, a staff member asked if I needed to be dropped off somewhere, I jokingly said yes the airport (the airport is a good 20 minute drive and I never expected anyone to drop me off there, I wouldn't have accepted the offer if they made it, it's too far) Sherveen then told me just to drive the the pickup to the airport and drop it off there. I asked, are you sure? He said, yes, it's no problem. If anyone says anything to you about it, here is my card. Again, no extra charge or anything like that. So they saved me about $20 uber. Drove to airport, dropped truck off and everything went smoothly. This is excellent customer service from Sherveen and this is why I will now only use Enterprise when renting vehicles in Phoenix. Never use this enterprise. I have used many enterprises before without issues, but I will never use this one again. First of all they had one car available and said they didn't want to give it me because they wanted to save it since it was their only car. The employee then proceeded to promise the same rate on a minivan if I agreed to take it instead, so they could save the car. The car was covered in dog hair and the minivan was dirty. I ended up getting charged the full amount for the minivan. I called to have it corrected and was told the salesman would call me back, which never happened. I left a message for the manager to call, which he didn't. I finally reached the manager and he said he would speak with the district manager and have it taken care of, which he never did. So I made a reservation on yelp for a economy car so I had a rental while my car was being repaired. I get all the way across town and drop off my vehicle and call for a pick up and the guy on the phone tells me that there are no available econos and all they have are pick-up trucks left. I figure, no big deal until he tells me that if I want the truck I'll have to pay the truck rental fee Which of course is much higher then the econo. I asked him to honor the online price of the rental and he tells me that there is no way he can do that because they only have trucks left and they are all rented out? Any rental place I've ever been to stands by their original online agreement and if unavailability exists they upgrade for free. This is a classic bate and switch scam. If it's enterprise police I'll never rent from them again. read more

I have rented from This Enterprise location for as many years as I've lived in Ahwatukee. They are professional, courteous, and go above and beyond to make sure they get you what you need. They know exactly what they are doing, get me in a car quickly and out the door. My personal car was in the shop for an extended period most recently, so I wanted to drive a few different cars as I knew I would have to be buying a car soon. I swear they would have Let me change cars daily if that's what I wanted. I didn't, but did change a few times, and they (Ryan & Kelly) were phenomenal about it. I would call them to see what cars they had ... and sometimes they even called me to say "hey I know you want to drive this car", we have it. I've never had this kind of experience with any rental car company anywhere. I am very happy they are in Ahwatukee & not far away. They even drove a car to my house and picked up the one I had. All were new 2020 cars... I was basically test driving while renting. Fantastic service. Thank you! read more

Booked a car for 3:30pm. I called for a pick up at 3:30. They said they'd have a car come by 4:00. I called them at 5:00. They said they were backed up. I took a Lyft to their office instead. There were 10 people waiting. They let me know that they didn't have cars but they hoped to have me in a car by 6:00. I actually needed to be at my meeting by 6:00. Friendly people but totally unreliable. I'll never use enterprise again. read more

I was in an accident and my insurance uses Enterprise as their rental car place. It already had been an awful day with the wreck so I wasn't looking forward to going to a rental company and sitting around for half a day. The lady that picked me up walked in and told the guy that was going to check me in what had happened and if he could speed through the process. I would say I was there for maybe 10 minutes and has my rental car ready to go. That's even walking around the car looking for damage and signing forms. Horrible experience, will never do business with Enterprise again. After getting my car crushed in a 6 car pileup, the responsible party's insurance company gave me a choice on which rental company to use while they repaired or replaced my vehicle. I foolishly chose Enterprise as I knew where a location close to my residence was. The next morning I called Enterprise and attempted to schedule a pickup. They told me the earliest they could get me was in several hours. I instead decided to Uber over instead of waiting, as I had several time sensitive errands to run, and was trying to avoid driving during rush hour after a somewhat traumatic accident earlier in the week. After arriving and letting them know I'd saved them the trouble of picking me up, the guy at the counter told me "We don't have any cars, you have to come back later." Apparently my reservation didn't actually include reserving a car for me. He didn't even give me the option of waiting for a car, or checking at another location, just insinuated that I should leave by pointing to people sitting in chairs and saying they were all ahead of me. I then went outside and called the nearest branch to see if they had any cars, and the girl on the phone said they would only give me a car if I upgraded to something that cost "only $50 more per day." That wasn't happening. I then went back inside (all the people who were waiting were already gone) and went to make sure I would still be able to get a car at the agreed upon time. Nope, now I couldn't get a car until two hours after that. I then took an Uber back home and got the insurance company to change my reservation to Hertz, who were apologetic about a 20 minute wait time to pick me up, and ensured that they would have a car ready for me when I got there. I've been renting cars from enterprise for years, and for some seemingly random reason this time I was asked for 2 paper bills and three references (!) to rent a car for two days. I'm a grown man and a long time customer, and to be asked for references is an insult to my customer history. What can I say? These guys treat you like gold. My father rented a car almost every weekend for months and got to know Levi and the rest of the team well. I recently used them after my accident and couldnt have been happier with the service. I had just crashed a small car so they refused to put me in something small again. I was amazed. Yesterday my son was required to pay $56 for an insurance mistake and what did Levi do? He told my son that his grandfather was a good man and adjusted his bill. I had a reservation made through Priceline when I arrived in Phoenix. I decided that I wouldchange my reservation from a very affordable one week rental to a 3-4 day rental when I arrived in town. I went physically to the office and was told my rate would be prorated for the 4 day rental and that this now allowed for me to get the $11 per day insurance and still have a lower price than my original rental. That seemed logical so I changed to a 4 day rental that would still be less than my previous rate. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told that the insurance was not $11 but $18+. The woman who helped me must have made a mistake. My rate also was not honored from my Priceline quote since I changed the rservation. I was never told that. Very nice people that appeared to be well trained in upselling every damn thing that Enterprise offered. I personally do not trust this business and would not do business with them again. read more

Absolutely no customer service here. Dropped off by body shop for rental reservation while my car being repaired after hit and run accident leaving me with fractures. No one waiting to rent a car and no one at front desk when I arrived. Reserved car Aug 4th to pick up Aug 9 covered by insurance. Told by Dalton I would "be responsible for cash payment." No one wearing a mask in office even though in midst of COVID19 pandemic with increasing infection rates in AZ and CDC says wear masks indoors. Dalton gets miffed when I ASK where is your mask and refuses to rent me a car. Again I am suffering from several fractures and stranded here with no car and in a great deal of pain. Asked for manager who also has no mask nor anyone else in business. Finally got rental after waiting 1hour and 15 minutes. Hell will freeze over before I will rent from any Enterprise again. Run away from this business. Whitney the branch manager was no help either. This place should be closed down. read more

It's very rare that I'm moved to write a review and a bad one at that. Most times I just suck up and deal with any bad experiences. So... 3 weeks ago made a reservation online and called the branch 24hrs in advanced to be picked up at 9am. I gave the person the pick up address and cross st (easy to find). I'm travelling from Phoenix to West los Angeles for a 6pm appointment to time is important. I received a call at 8am the day of to confirm my pick up location and time (My apartments front office 9am). I was there waiting at 8:50 and by 9am no call no pickup. I patiently waited thinking they might have some delays. 9:15 and nothing by 9:25 I get a call stating that they are there at my office location ready to pick me up. What, why are you at my office I said. All the info I gave to rent is under my home address and I confirmed the pick up address twice. So I was finally picked up by 10am they gave me a 5% discount (saved $8) have me the car with a full tank but noted the paper work with 1/2 a tank. I returned the car with 1/2 a tank and they charged me for the other half. They adjusted the gas charges to $0. In the end I had to rush to Los Angeles non stop and just made it with 10min to spare. It would of been much better with an hour or more of time to spare. This location has me thinking twice about renting from them and enterprise in general. Extremely disappointed with this location! I set up a car rental for a specific vehicle (large van) with this Ahwatukee branch a few months ahead of time. A week before my rental I got an email from the manager saying they couldn't rent me a van. Now I have a group of people going on a trip next week and no van to take them in.
